"Mundungus Fletcher, you dirty old lazybones, something's happened to Harry Potter! He's being attacked right now!"
Mrs. Figg's voice could be heard from outside.
"What happened?" a man's voice asked from outside.
"Something creepy is attacking Harry Potter's house. I believe it's Dementors," replied Mrs. Figg in a panicked voice.
"Dementors?... I can't fight Dementors! I don't know how to cast a Patronus! I'll bring help from outside!"
Pop! There was another sound as Mundungus Disapparated.
"At least try to help Harry Potter!" shouted Mrs. Figg, her voice full of frustration.
Gathering her courage, Mrs. Figg sneaked inside the house. Despite being terrified, she tried to speak.
"Harry Potter, are you alright?" asked Mrs. Figg. "Is there some kind of enemy attacking you? I can feel something inside the house."
Harry was dumbfounded. Mrs. Figg was usually not kind to him—how did she know about the Dementors?
"There are Dementors, it's very dangerous, so please don't come inside," said Dudley.
"Dementors? How did those creatures come to a Muggle area?" exclaimed Mrs. Figg.
Now Harry was very confused, while Mrs. Figg tried to peek inside again, her head appearing at the front door.
Amelia Bones suddenly broke the silence.
"Are you a witch, madam?"
"I'm not a witch, I'm a Squib," replied Mrs. Figg.
"Who was that man you were talking to earlier?" asked Amelia Bones.
"He was Mundungus Fletcher. He was sent here to protect Harry Potter," Mrs. Figg explained. "By the way, who are you, madam?"
"My name is Amelia Bones, and I am the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement," she introduced herself. "Don't worry about the Dementors, we have them under control."
Before Mrs. Figg could reply, another pop echoed, and a figure came running toward Harry.
"Harry, are you alright? Mundungus said Dementors attacked your house," said Sirius Black, touching Harry's face to make sure he was alright.
"Expelliarmus!" A jet of red light struck Sirius Black, sending him flying into the wall and disarming the wand in his hand.
A few minutes earlier...
"It's bad! Harry Potter has been attacked by Dementors!" shouted Mundungus Fletcher.
He yelled as he entered the Order's HQ, but unfortunately, only Sirius Black was in the house.
"What?" Sirius ran toward Mundungus. "Tell me what happened to Harry!"
"Dementors attacked Harry Potter, and I don't know how to cast a Patronus. That's why I came here to get help," explained Mundungus.
"You son of... Give me your wand!" Sirius Black snarled, snatching the wand from him. He then rushed outside and Apparated.
Now, Mundungus was stuck, unable to perform magic, and the worst part was he couldn't inform Dumbledore about what had really happened to Harry Potter.
Present Time...
"Madam Amelia Bones, Sirius Black is not a criminal," said Harry, shielding Sirius with his body.
"What? Sirius Black betrayed your parents, Mr. Potter," replied Amelia, while Susan stood shocked, staring at Harry.
"No, he's my adopted father. The one who betrayed my parents is Peter Pettigrew," Harry said, trying to protect Sirius.
"Harry might be annoying, but he's not a liar. In his third year, he caught Peter, but unfortunately, that rat managed to escape," Dudley chimed in to support Harry.
"You two are still students, don't be fooled by him," said Amelia Bones.
"Madam Amelia, you've already disarmed him, so he's no longer a threat," said Dudley. "And there's proof of his innocence."
Not only did Amelia Bones look at Dudley in confusion, but even Harry and Sirius were puzzled. How could Dudley have proof when they themselves couldn't provide evidence?
"Where's the proof, Mr. Dursley?" asked Amelia Bones.
"Isn't there the Unbreakable Vow? Let Sirius Black take it. He can vow, 'I will speak truthfully from XXXX time to XXXX time. If I lie, I will lose my magic,'" suggested Dudley.
"But that..."
"Amelia, I'll do it," said Sirius Black.
Hearing Sirius's response, Amelia was taken aback. But before she could reply, another pop sounded.
"Oh, no! Black, you need to hide. Call your house-elf to Apparate you out of here otherwise, another Auror might accidentally kill you," urged Dudley.
