How Kurama Leads Naruto Astray

"Ugh!!" 

Just as they were chatting happily, Kushina suddenly clutched her stomach and crouched down with a pained expression. 

Naruto instinctively reached out to support her, fully activating his Six Paths Yang Power to help ease her discomfort. His face was full of worry. 

"Mom… what's wrong?" 

Sasuke instantly appeared beside Kushina. His Sharingan spun and merged into the Mangekyou pattern as he frowned at her. 

"Aunt Kushina… the Kurama inside you is acting up." 

"…No, wait, Naruto, it's actually the Kurama inside you." 

Technically, Kurama and the Nine-Tails had the same chakra presence, but the current Kurama was nothing like before. He had already gained a firm grasp of Six Paths Power, making his energy completely different. Sasuke could tell the difference. 

Kushina didn't quite understand what Sasuke meant, but she could also feel the Kurama inside her going wild. 

She forced a gentle smile at Naruto and Sasuke. 

"Don't worry, you two. The Nine-Tails acts up like this all the time. It's just a little stronger this time. I'll go in and straighten him out." 

Naruto and Sasuke exchanged glances, unsure how to explain the situation. 

After thinking for a moment, Naruto spoke firmly. 

"Mom… I don't think you can handle this alone. I'm coming too." 

"It's fine, trust me." 

Kushina placed a hand on Naruto's head. Thanks to the Six Paths Yang Power, her pain was fading fast, and now she felt almost completely fine. 

"Don't worry. It's just the Nine-Tails, no big deal." 

Honestly, she was one of the few shinobi in this era who could say that with confidence. 

Without waiting for Naruto to respond, Kushina closed her eyes and let her consciousness enter the seal's space. But the moment she got there and saw the enormous chakra surging from Kurama, she was completely stunned. 

Normally, she would follow a routine—scold the Nine-Tails first, then use Adamantine Sealing Chains to shut him up, scold him again, strengthen the seal a little, and be done. 

But now, things were completely different from what she expected. She had assumed that the one acting up was the Nine-Tails inside her. 

But the moment she arrived, she realized something shocking— 

The one causing the commotion was another Nine-Tails. 

And this one was insanely strong. 

So it wasn't her own Nine-Tails going wild? Kushina let out a sigh of relief. She had been worried because the chakra she sensed was way stronger than any outburst she had felt before. If it really had been her Nine-Tails, she would have had a hard time handling it. 

…Wait, hold on. 

Where did this second Nine-Tails come from? 

That was the real reason Kushina was frozen in shock. 

In the next second, a surge of power filled the space, and Naruto and Sasuke suddenly appeared beside her. The moment they arrived, their eyes locked onto Kurama. 

Sasuke had a look of understanding, while Naruto's face darkened as he shouted, 

"Kurama! What are you doing inside my mom's seal space?! Cut off your Six Paths Power right now!" 

The power of the Six Paths was incredibly strong. Even with Kushina's advanced sealing techniques, the energy surging inside was already affecting the space. If it had been anyone else's seal, it probably would've shattered instantly. 

So yeah, Kushina's sealing jutsu was seriously impressive. 

Kurama heard Naruto and turned to glance at the three of them. With a light snort, he withdrew his overflowing power. 

"What's with the yelling? I just came back to reminisce a little." 

…Though, to be honest, this was the last thing he wanted to remember. 

As the Six Paths Power faded, the changes in Kurama's body gradually disappeared, and the Truth-Seeking Orbs vanished into thin air. 

He lay down lazily, resting his head on his paws, and looked at Kushina. 

"Yo, Kushina. Long time no see." 

Kushina finally snapped out of her daze. 

"You're… the Nine-Tails inside Naruto?"

"That's right, but too bad there's no reward." Kurama grinned. 

Kushina looked dazed. For a moment, she felt like she was looking at Jiraiya-sensei. 

Wait… was she imagining things? 

This was the Nine-Tails. There was no way he could act like Jiraiya-sensei… right? 

Naruto ran up to Kurama angrily, pointing at his nose. "Come on! Can't you be a little more careful? Do you even realize how powerful the Six Paths' energy is? Using that inside someone else's seal—aren't you afraid the seal will just break?" 

Sasuke raised an eyebrow. Since when did this guy get so bold? 

Kurama's face darkened. "Okay, I'll admit I didn't think this through, but Naruto, you sure are getting cocky, huh? What was that?" 

This brat dares to talk to me like this? Kid, you're walking a dangerous path. 

Naruto paused, glanced at Kushina—who was still out of it—and quickly lowered his voice. "Kurama, come on, at least give me some face in front of my mom. When we get back, I'll do whatever you want, just let me act tough for a bit here, alright?" 

Sasuke scoffed and rolled his eyes. 

Kurama squinted, a sly grin forming. "Fine. But when we get back, you're taking me to watch *Princess Gale*. And bring everyone else along too. Agree to that, and I'll let this slide." 

"Deal." Naruto agreed without hesitation. 

It's just a movie, no big deal. Heck, he could even invite Hinata, Shikamaru, Chouji, Ino, Kiba, Shino, Lee, Neji, Tenten, Sasuke, and Sakura—basically anyone who wanted to come. 

A dozen movie tickets? He could afford that. 

"Then it's settled." Kurama stared at Naruto, eyes filled with amusement. 

Naruto didn't sense anything wrong and nodded. "Yeah, it's a deal." 

Sasuke, on the other hand, suddenly realized what was going on. 

The moment he understood Kurama's little scheme, he smirked too. 

He decided not to ruin the fun—this was going to be way more entertaining than *Princess Gale*. 

Can't wait. 

With the deal sealed, Kurama immediately switched into full drama mode. He squeezed out two fake tears from the corners of his eyes, putting on a pitiful act. "Naruto, I'm so sorry! It's all my fault! I was too heartless, too cruel, too unreasonable!" 

That was the signal. The signal that Kurama was ready to put on a show. 

Naruto picked up on it instantly. Without missing a beat, he switched to his own performance mode, puffing out his chest and pointing at Kurama. "Tell me, in what way were you heartless? How were you cruel? How were you unreasonable?" 

"Wuuu~" Kurama buried his head in his arms, pretending to sob. "I was heartless! I was cruel! I was unreasonable!" 

…I can literally hear you laughing. Sasuke was speechless. 

Could they be any more obvious with this act? 

Did they not see that Kushina was completely dumbfounded? 

Sasuke let out a long sigh. After spending so much time with these two, he was honestly surprised he could still keep a straight face. 

…You know what? Even I feel like I'm getting dragged into their nonsense. 

Sasuke smiled in amusement. 

Kushina: "..." 

Sasuke! Don't you start acting crazy too! Explain what's going on! 

Sasuke! What's wrong with you, Sasuke?! 

Just how many episodes did I miss?!

I had already posted the previous parts, and I couldn't delete them, so I had to adjust the story based on what was already there. I changed Obito's appearance to Madara's and replaced Kamui with Izanagi. But since this deviates from the original outline, there will still be some plot holes. 

I can only keep revising to make the story as reasonable as possible. I've removed the Akatsuki-related parts from the outline and won't write about them for now. I'll continue once I've reworked the outline. 

This was definitely my mistake. Before writing, I completely overlooked the timeline issues. For some reason, I just assumed that Obito and the Akatsuki had been around for a long time. But when I actually did the math—well, turns out the Third Shinobi War hadn't even started yet. Where would Kamui Obito come from? 

I'm really sorry about this. The revised version should have fewer issues now. If I spot any more problems, I'll keep fixing them and let you all know about the changes.
