Honkai Star Rail Starting With Judgement of Shamash

Chapter 47: Chapter 47 An unexpected occurrence

"These three stories are all about Orion himself."

"It's also possible that Orion's battle plan is hidden," Welt said calmly.

"No, Uncle Yang." Stelle shook his head. It was unusual for Stelle to completely disagree with Welt.

"In terms of knowledge, you are undoubtedly better, but when it comes to understanding Orion, I might know more. I'm sure that others see the story, but I see Orion in it."

"Maybe, but I think this kid Orion is somewhat like me when I was young. If you want to analyze his mental journey, I should be able to help." Welt adjusted his glasses calmly.

"Actually, Orion has also shared a lot of interesting things with me. If I find anything, I will let you know." March 7th brightened the mood.

"I will also help," added Dan Heng coolly.

Looking at the lively people in front of her, Cocolia felt a bit annoyed. Although Orion had spent several years with her, he was always rushing to the battlefield, leaving little time to open up to her.

From the train crew's stories, she pieced together a picture of Orion as not so silent but actually very interesting. He sometimes shared stories with others and told interesting tales from the past. He was a free traveler burdened with a heavy fate.

Throughout the year, the sad times outweighed the happy ones, and wrinkles appeared on his once smooth forehead. Orion often had a sad expression during meetings, but he still greeted her with a smile.

"If it weren't for his fate, Orion might have lived differently and not died in this land."

"Perhaps he should have lived a more relaxed life..."

After coming back to their senses, everyone on the train crew had put together a relatively complete plan.

Stelle looked at Cocolia, who seemed a bit dazed, and smiled gently at her. Cocolia's heart trembled. This smile reminded her of someone.

"This child reminds me of Orion."

"Anyway, this is the preliminary plan. Is there anything else you don't understand?" Welt summarized the plan for Cocolia.

Find where Orion's body died and look for any clues left behind. Locate the stellaron and interrogate about Orion's whereabouts. Find a way to rebuild the body and resurrect Orion.

"But hasn't the stellaron been completely destroyed?" Cocolia asked.

"Not yet." Welt shook his head. "In my perception, I can still feel the powerful black hole from the Star of Eden. This must be supported by some kind of energy. If this black hole isn't from Orion, there must be some kind of information left behind by him."

"But we can't feel anything at the location of the stellaron?" Cocolia asked as she set up Orion's tombstone there, partly to honor him and partly to monitor the stellaron's movements and prevent any chance of its return.

Using the latest equipment, Belobog has determined that the stellaron is completely dead, and Orion died with it.

"Sometimes, what we see might not be real," Welt said, shaking his head. He had a similar experience of falling into someone else's spiritual world. The ruler of that world can control nearly everything in their space, and they are almost all-powerful.

"You mean..."

"You'll find out if you go there, Ms. Cocolia. If possible, we still need your help," Welt said with a sincere look.

"After all, Orion was under your care all these years, wasn't he?"

"I don't know who was taking care of whom…" Cocolia said, not revealing her true feelings. She took Welt's hand, feeling slightly awkward, like meeting her boyfriend's parents.

Sensing Cocolia's discomfort, Welt gave her hand a gentle squeeze.

"Okay, let's go." March 7th was still full of energy. Even though Orion was suspected to be dead, she and the train crew believed that Orion wouldn't leave so easily.

"Perhaps that's why they became Orion's partners," Cocolia chuckled. The busy political affairs of recent years had made her sentimental and sad. Initially, she tried to suppress her inner sadness with distractions, but over time, she accepted that Orion was dead. At first, like them, she didn't believe Orion had left.

"Because he clearly made an appointment with me."

The past came back to her, and Cocolia clenched her fists slightly, intending to handle current matters first.

Suddenly, a pen on the desk fell to the ground, followed by a tremor that felt like the earth was shaking.

"What's going on?!" Cocolia shouted, also concerned for others' safety.

"Ouch, don't let me fall!"

March 7th, seemingly able to resist falling, crouched on the floor. The violent shaking caused the glass behind everyone to tremble. A huge chandelier fell from above but did not harm anyone present. The invisible force of thought lifted the debris, moved it away from everyone, and set it on the ground. It was Welt who had acted.

"Yes, Lord Cocolia!" A messenger rushed in, out of breath.

"There was an earthquake. The source of the tremor seems to be from the suburbs, outside the old frontlines, probably Everwinter Hill."

"What about the energy readings?" Cocolia asked, wanting to analyze the cause of the incident based on the tremor data.

"It is immeasurable!"

Everyone glanced at each other, and Welt replied:

"Go and check it out first."

As the tremors continued, Cocolia and the messenger discussed the evacuation notice for the people. In times of disaster, the people are the most important and valuable resource.

"Let's go!" Stelle pulled up March 7 from the ground and prepared to head outside.

"You all go find Geppard. He'll direct you on where to go."

Cocolia waved her hand, asking everyone to leave while she focused on her duty as the Supreme Guardian, prioritizing earthquake relief.

"In the face of disaster, responsibility is key."

Near Everwinter Hill.

An icebreaker floated on the ice. An old man and a young man were aboard, casually drinking strong wine.

The young man, feeling somewhat superior, stuttered to the elderly man:

"Peace is so good. Nothing will happen today! Nothing will happen today!"

The old man gave the young man a firm pat on the shoulder. "These young folks have no experience. They just keep shouting that nothing happens. Nothing happens. If something did, would you dare face it?"

"Whatever you dare not face, I will!"

Seeing the young man's earnest eyes, the old man smiled.

"Alright, alright! Before I retired a few years ago, I was with Chief Orion."

Before he could finish, a powerful earthquake nearly capsized the boat. Cracks in the ice were like gaping chasms, and the floating ice formed giant waves. With his years of experience, the old man sensed something rising from the ice, something enormous.

"Wuuuuuu——!"

A long cry echoed from afar, creating visible ripples in the air.

"Dad, we should check it out."

The young man's mouth was covered as the old man turned the boat around, ignoring the young man's struggle, and quickly reversed course.

"Fighting on the battlefield is our job, and you young ones should stay out of it."

"But you promised me..." The young man felt slighted, thinking this was an opportunity to inform Belobog.

"I promised you service to the country, not death!" the old man roared quietly.

Looking back, a massive black shadow loomed from the ice, its gigantic body stretching to the land like the Everwinter Mountains lifting its head.

Without time to get a clear view, the old man took the young man and fled quickly.

Not long after they left, a deep voice came from the massive black shadow.

"Seven years, seven long years, I never imagined time would stretch so far."

"It will take me seven hundred years to regain my consciousness, seventy years to resume breathing, seven years to restart my heartbeat, and then another seven days."

"To destroy the world you tried to protect, Orion!"

The roar ripped through the clouds and shook the sky above Belobog.

On the streets of Belobog, Cocolia was personally evacuating them. She looked up at the sky with resolve and made her decision.

"Orion, I will protect the world you left for me and the people!"
