Meeting at the doorway, the island's warm evening weather allowed Su Qing, fresh from swimming, to simply wear his swim shorts as they headed together to the planned attraction.
[Seeing Su Qing's physique.]
[Stelle: Heh, Su Qing?]
[Sparkle: Hehehe, Su Qing?]
[Firefly: Don't you dare look! No peeking!]
[Stelle: Enjoying it.]
[Sparkle: Enjoying it.]
[Silver Wolf: You're giving everyone quite a laugh.]
[Silver Wolf: Is Firefly now taking the comedic route?]
[Himeko: At least it's better than the loser-in-love route.]
[Himeko: (sipping coffee)]
[Himeko: @Kafka]
[Stelle: Divine intervention @]
[Kafka: @Himeko, being so love-struck might lead Su Qing to break up with you.]
[Himeko: Because I like him, he'd want to break up with me? Think about it—does that make sense?]
[March 7th: Yeah, yeah, Sister Himeko's infatuation isn't causing any real issues.]
[Kafka: Anything is possible.?]
[Firefly: Anything is possible.?]
[Stelle: Anything is possible.?]
[Seele: @Stelle, why are you parroting them?!]
[Silver Wolf: The current state of internet users.]
The landmark they were heading to was originally the island's lighthouse, guiding passing ships.
Later, after tourism development, it was transformed into a small attraction themed around the starlit sky. After all, this place used to be a rocket launch site.
In reality, however, the attraction seemed rather obscure and less appealing compared to coastal or romance-themed spots for tourists.
It was virtually empty, with only the ticket booth manned. Su Qing and Himeko purchased their tickets and entered the lighthouse.
Inside, the walls were adorned with meticulous depictions of various planets and stars.
With his backpack slung over his left shoulder, Su Qing pointed at some decorations, engaging in conversation with Himeko.
Himeko responded, her smile ever-present as her gaze remained fixed on him.
"There aren't many people here."
As they climbed the stairs, not a single tourist was in sight. Upon reaching the equally empty top floor of the lighthouse, Su Qing sighed.
"Hmm, it's clear they put quite some effort into this place." The sea breeze blew through the windows as Himeko gently brushed her long hair aside.
[Kafka: You're saying that without even looking around?]
[Himeko: I've already seen it before; it's called having foresight, understand?]
[Kafka: "Foresight," you mean manipulation, right? Indeed.]
[Himeko: ...Hmph.]
At each window of the lighthouse, telescopes were placed.
With keen interest, Su Qing chose one to stargaze through.
Himeko approached him, took a slightly nervous deep breath, and then pulled out a pendant from her pocket. "Look at this..."
[The top floor of the lighthouse is quiet. As Himeko narrates, you learn that during your visit to the tech exhibition years ago, the young girl with you was indeed a younger Himeko.]
[This revelation surprises you greatly.]
[As Himeko narrates her story, memories resurface. You recall indeed meeting a red-haired little girl back then.]
[Her tear-streaked face when she stumbled and got lost in the forest, and her joyful enthusiasm as she introduced exhibits to you at the science fair.]
[Past recollections gradually emerge.]
Su Qing gazed at the souvenir in Himeko's hand, looking as pristine as it did on that day.
Feeling somewhat dazed, he listened to Himeko's tale, vividly picturing once more the adorable, red-haired little girl.
She had an insatiable fascination for science, passionately guiding him through exhibits related to the universe, her words filled with dreams and stardust.
However, amidst his reverie, Himeko called out his name, bringing Su Qing back to the present.
Now, before his eyes, stood the captivating and affectionate Himeko—her gaze entirely focused on him, brimming with love and tenderness.
Much time had passed.
It seemed as though many things have changed.
Su Qing detached the charms from his backpack—one featured a star with an astronaut, and the other depicted a moon with a rocket.
These two keepsakes, one old and one new, after spanning across time, were once again side by side.
"So, what do you think?" Himeko held one charm in her left hand while absentmindedly twirling her long hair with the right, softly asking.
The camera angle shifted to Himeko's perspective, showing her gaze fixed on Su Qing. It was as if some extraordinary treasure within Su Qing's eyes captivated her, drawing her in.
With each prolonged stare at Su Qing, Himeko's heartbeat seemed to quicken.
[Qingque: Oh no! It's an illusion! When did this happen?!]
[Stelle: Heh heh, when did you start doubting that I hadn't used Mirage?]
[March 7th: Hey—both of you.]
[Fu Xuan: Himeko's love filter seems quite strong.]
Su Qing looked at the two charms. "I'm very happy; it must be some kind of destiny, wouldn't you say?"
"Uh-huh! I feel the same way!" His words resonated deeply with Himeko, who took a step closer. "I'm also incredibly glad to have met you. It truly is the happiest thing for me..."
Alone at the top of the lighthouse, Himeko affectionately embraced him, tilted her head back, her golden eyes shimmering, and initiated a kiss.
Su Qing held the pendant securely, gently wrapped his arms around her waist, and leaned down to respond.
Savoring Himeko's soft lips, inhaling her captivating scent, and feeling the warmth against his chest...
Most people might become completely absorbed in such passionate love, unable to think straight.
But not Su Qing.
Naturally, he felt immense happiness and sweetness from this romance. Having Himeko as his beautiful and accomplished girlfriend brought him great contentment.
Yet, gazing at her lovely face, closed-eyed and blissful mere inches away, he couldn't help but recall the spirited expression of young Himeko years ago when she introduced him to the starlit sky...
Himeko had arrived wearing transparent sandals—stylish yet unsuitable for long walks. Climbing the hill to reach the lighthouse, Su Qing noticed her feet were red by the time they returned.
"Let me carry you." He set down his backpack.
Himeko hesitated briefly, but having dated him, she was already aware that Su Qing possessed extraordinary stamina, so she didn't protest much.
[Sparkle: With Su Qing's incredible stamina, it seems like Himeko is quite fortunate.]
[Seele: (choking)(blushing) Ahem...cough cough...]
[Bronya: (blushing) Oh, um...]
[Such straightforward hints, even they both understood.]
[Clara: What does that mean? Clara doesn't get it.]
[Stelle: Enjoying the humor.]
[Stelle: Now @Seele and @Bronya, your innocence is surpassed by Clara once again.]
[Seele & Bronya: Mind your own business!]
[Himeko (resigned): @Black Swan, seriously considering not muting Sparkle?]
[Black Swan: Well, her comments aren't explicitly vulgar...]
[Sparkle: ? Not muting me implies you condone my provocative remarks!]
[Qingque: Heh, look at her getting all worked up now?]
With her arms wrapped around Su Qing's neck and leaning against his right shoulder, Himeko whispered into his ear, "...Am I too heavy?"
"Not at all, you're very light."
Su Qing initially wanted to respond by saying he could carry even a Flame Demon or cyclops without issue. However, upon reflection, such a remark seemed inappropriate...
[Seele: Ha ha, imagine if he actually said that—what would be Himeko's reaction?]
[March 7th: Sister Himeko might truly transform into a Flame Demon and incinerate him on the spot!]
[Himeko (laughing)]
After walking a few steps,
Himeko leaned close to his ear and affectionately, with immense tenderness, whispered, "I love you."
Su Qing nearly buckled at the knees.
[Silver Wolf: Dying of laughter.]
[Seele: Another surprise attack!]
Feeling her stumble, Himeko asked, "What's wrong?"
Su Qing could only respond, "Nothing, you just made me incredibly happy. But please don't say anything more for now."
Himeko was delighted by his words.
Showing her playful side, she teased, "I'll keep saying it—love you, love you."
Rubbing against his neck affectionately, Himeko whispered, "Love, love, love. Su Qing, I love you... love you... and most of all, I love you..."
Her tone was mischievous yet innocent, but the depth of her love felt genuine and heart-stirring. Combined with her figure pressed against him through the thin sunscreen jacket, it was undeniably captivating.
Su Qing silently acknowledged to himself that he was fortunate to have used Potential Unleashing during his free time; otherwise, maintaining balance under this onslaught might have been challenging.
He slightly turned his head towards the left. "Actually, there's something I wanted to tell you too."
"What is it?" Himeko curiously leaned closer.
"It's about... phew—" Su Qing gently blew warm air into her ear.
Instantly, he felt Himeko shiver on his back, and visibly, her delicate, fair ears began turning red.
Only then did Su Qing continue, "...Now do you realize how potent your actions were just now?"
"I understand..." Himeko buried her still flushed face into his neck and whispered, "I'm sorry..."
[March 7th: So sweet, soooo sweet.]
During their descent down the mountain, the two continued chatting.
Himeko leaned against his shoulder, "What I remember most vividly is when you carried me away from the forest. It brought immense comfort amidst my fear; you truly saved me."
Su Qing responded, "And now, here we are again with me carrying you. Thinking about it, fate can indeed be quite extraordinary."
Himeko then asked, "I recall that time in the forest, you mentioned the wolf ran off by itself."
Su Qing reminisced, "Thinking back, I probably scared it away with my attack. At the time, I didn't want to frighten you further, so I didn't mention it."
Ordinarily, people wouldn't believe such a young child could drive off a wolf. However, because Su Qing said it, Himeko trusted him without hesitation. "Oh, I see. That's really impressive of you."
After a moment, Himeko leaned close to his ear and murmured, "I love you."
"Again?"
"I just can't help myself."
"Well, I'll forgive you this time, once more."
"What if I say it again?"
"Then I'll forgive you yet another time."
Himeko smiled, her long red hair fluttering in the evening breeze. She affectionately whispered into Su Qing's ear, "Su Qing, I adore you so much, truly... I love you deeply..."
Su Qing responded earnestly, "Mm-hmm, I like you too."
Under the starlit sky, waves crashed against the cliffs.
On this journey back, the two individuals, bound by fate for many years and now lovers, deepened their affection further.
[Kafka: ???]
[Firefly: ???]
[Himeko: ???]
[Silver Wolf: ???]
[Stelle: What kind of cutscene was that?]
[Seele: Silver Wolf seems quite entertained.]
[Over the next few days on the island, you noticed everyone's minds were preoccupied, with little interest in studying.]
[So, without saying more, you all decided to fully enjoy yourselves for several days.]
[Visiting tourist spots, taking photos—objectively speaking, balancing work with leisure is crucial.]
[After returning from the island, you found time to visit Professor Xu again.]
[Upon learning that you still intended to continue your research, although he didn't approve, a hint of relief showed in his expression. He did not forcefully obstruct you.]
[Professor Xu emphasized the importance of refraining from submitting any papers for now. If there were any breakthroughs in your study, he requested to be informed first. Confused, you agreed nonetheless.]
[The summer vacation continued, as did the warmth of the season.]
[During this scorching summer...]
[Faced with Himeko's affection, you couldn't help but indulge in this beautiful and passionate romance.]
[You frequently went on dates with Himeko, visiting various places together. Your relationship steadily deepened.]
[At the same time, you made efforts to balance your academic responsibilities, often scheduling study sessions through the group chat for your research project, pushing it forward.]
[Days passed, filled with meaningful experiences.]
[Soon, the summer break ended, marking the start of a new semester.]
In a self-study room within the academic building:
Himeko glanced at the documents on her desk, somewhat absent-minded.
Noticing this, Anna whispered, "Are you planning to meet up with Su Qing later?"
Himeko smiled, "Yes, I'll be leaving soon."
"How wonderful," Anna expressed enviously. "Having such a great boyfriend like Su Qing—handsome and sharing common interests—is truly blissful."
"I feel the same..." Feeling slightly bashful, Himeko changed the subject, "Have you considered dating, Anna?"
Anna shook her head, "No, not really. Compared to Su Qing, all the guys around seem so immature, always making a fuss over everything." She clenched her fists determinedly, "Anyway, keep going strong! Watching your romance actually motivates me more in my studies!"
Himeko smiled, "Thank you, and best wishes to you too."
Meanwhile, in another meeting room:
"Why! Why!" Kahn tugged at his hair, wailing as he stared at his laptop screen, "Why won't these two sets of data match up?!?"
"Lower your voice; we might get complained about from the next room."
Su Qing took a look at his work, "Did you fill this field incorrectly? Looks like they got mixed up."
"Wow, it really is! Such a minor issue had me stumped for over ten minutes!"
Kahn quickly made the correction and then glanced at Su Qing, who was packing up his belongings. "Leaving so early today?"
Su Qing nodded. "Yeah, I have something to attend to shortly."
"What about your tasks for today?" Kahn asked.
"I completed them yesterday," Su Qing replied.
"Then what were you working on just now?"
"The tasks for the day after tomorrow," Su Qing answered.
Kahn looked puzzled.
[Seele: Stop bothering me; it's getting confusing here. Let me think.]
[Bronya: Can Seele still keep track with her fingers?!]
[Seele: ?]
"How can your study efficiency continue to increase, even doubling at times?" Kahn expressed disbelief, "...Sometimes, I wonder if you're the reincarnation of some great being or if you've activated a cheat code."
Su Qing glanced at the latest inspiration within Theoretical Deduction. "Ha ha, who knows?"
[Stelle: So admitting no cheats means there might be some?]
[Silver Wolf: Keep 'em going, love watching.]

[You went on a date with Himeko.]
[After returning to school post-break, you began noticing that Himeko seems overly absorbed in our relationship.]
[Sometimes while studying, she would gaze at you, lost in thought. Now, instead of going to the library, she prefers spending time alone with you.]
[While it hasn't yet significantly impacted her studies, you can sense that her focus is gradually shifting. This is a clear sign.]
[From balancing romance amidst academics, she's slowly moving towards prioritizing love over learning.]
[You've casually mentioned this to Himeko a few times, but it hasn't had much effect.]
[After today's date concludes, you escort Himeko back to her dormitory.]
Under a tree near the dormitory building.
Himeko gently embraces Su Qing, tilting her head slightly upwards as they converse, reluctant to part ways.
She notices her roommate passing by and waves hello.
Having known each other for quite some time now, Su Qing naturally recognizes Himeko's roommate and greets her too.
Her roommate responds cheerfully, "Ah, hello there! Looks like another sweet day for you two!"
[Stelle: Her expression seems to say: Eww—such a mushy couple! Give me diabetes!]
[Bronya: Ha ha, indeed.]
[Seele: The roommate serves as quite a strong wingman.]
[You lower your gaze, looking at Himeko nestled close against your chest, softly speaking with you.]
[Is Himeko's current state a good thing?]
[If all you desired were Himeko's appearance or merely admired her beauty, then perhaps it could be considered positive.]
[This suggests that your allure for Himeko surpasses even her lifelong dreams of the cosmos and starry skies.]
[Himeko is utterly devoted to you; with just a word from you, your relationship could effortlessly deepen further.]
[However, on the island, you didn't lie.]
[You genuinely love Himeko and cherish her deeply.]
[So, you're contemplating the right moment and approach to address this issue.]
[With the aim of making your shared romance even more beautiful.]
[A healthy relationship benefits both parties and has the potential to endure...]
[After careful thought, one weekend, you decide to invite Himeko out.]
***
In reality, since returning to school, Himeko occasionally reflects rationally and realizes her deep immersion in emotions may be affecting her studies.
The faint glimmer of rationality still resists, urging her not to become too consumed. However, the passionate flames of love burn brighter, rendering this resistance futile.
But at this moment, filled with anticipation, beautifully dressed, and heading towards their date, Himeko remains unaware.
Within mere hours, she will unequivocally fall completely in love with Su Qing, both emotionally and rationally.
Both emotionally and rationally, she had completely fallen in love with Su Qing.
***
[March 7th: Sister Himeko's emotions: I love Su Qing.]
[March 7th: Sister Himeko's rationality: Excellent, you're doing the right thing.]
[Himeko: (Smiling)]
[Stelle: Happy.]
