As expected, when the smoke cleared, Ana emerged unscathed.

She remained standing exactly where she had been, not moving an inch. The only difference now was an almost imperceptible barrier surrounding her—an invisible field of wind, to be precise.

Indeed, although Ana could have easily withstood the attack head-on, why bother? Just before impact, she manipulated her power to create a wind field around herself, dissipating and absorbing the force of the missiles.

In some ways, the abilities of the Herrscher of Wind closely resemble those of the Herrscher of Rock, often achieving similar effects. However, while wind embodies adaptability and harmony, rock tends towards brute simplicity.

Additionally, despite the average nature of the Herrscher of Wind's powers, as a transmigrator, Ana possesses a rich imagination, which compensates for them.

For such innate abilities, difficult to enhance through learning, relying on creativity is crucial. After all... Honkai Energy can achieve anything!

"Ah well, let's wrap this up quickly."

As she observed the glowing chamber within MSR-7 Wotan once more, Ana shook her head slightly, feeling somewhat helpless. She had intended to continue coasting for a bit longer, but it was indeed becoming rather uninteresting now.

With Kiana and the others refusing to engage with MSR-7 Wotan, leaving only herself hovering mid-air, did they expect her to perform some aerial comedy act?

The MSR-7 Wotan, Anti-Entropy's largest, most powerful, and best-defended mecha, albeit relatively slow. Standing at 85 meters tall and weighing 2412 tons, its primary focus is close-quarters combat.

Impressive stats, aren't they?

But just how weak is it against a true Herrscher?

Facing the menacing MSR-7 Wotan, Ana raised her hand, fingers forming a blade-like gesture. With a swift motion, several wind blades composed of perfect fluids were released under the control of the Gauntlet of Hades, slicing towards MSR-7 Wotan.

These wind blades encountered no resistance whatsoever, effortlessly cutting through the nearly hundred-meter-tall mecha like slicing through a watermelon. The remaining blades casually diced MSR-7 Wotan apart, dismembering it into multiple pieces.

From her vantage point above, Ana surveyed her casually crafted masterpiece and nodded in satisfaction.

Now that's more like it! The Herrscher of Wind is quite overpowered too; high-speed winds can be incredibly terrifying, akin to water jets, capable of cutting through anything effortlessly.

In the original storyline, aside from summoning tornadoes across New Zealand, the Herrscher of Wind's tactics were rather underwhelming. As a Herrscher controlling perfect fluid dynamics, why engage in close combat with opponents known for their specialized abilities?

Isn't it obvious you're playing to your weaknesses while exploiting theirs?

If Wendy had instead opted to maintain distance and unleash area-of-effect skills, would the main trio have stood a chance against her? Even Theresa likely would've needed to activate the Divine Grace Barrier to contend effectively.

With such immense advantages, both in timing and environment, she ultimately suffered a humiliating defeat, becoming a disgrace among Herrschers.

Recalling this, Ana couldn't help but click her tongue, casting a glance at Wendy nestled in her arms.

However, Wendy remained oblivious to Ana's gaze, completely awestruck as she watched the Heavenly MSR-7 Wotan mecha effortlessly dismantled below them.

She never imagined that a formidable giant, which even Principal and others found challenging, could be so casually dispatched by Ana. Moreover, using the power of the Gem of Desire, if it were Wendy herself...

Wendy couldn't help but feel incredulous; despite her potential, she had indeed squandered it miserably.

To be fair, Wendy's capabilities were not lacking. The storyline even mentioned that during her Herrscher arc, her energy output was powerful enough to destroy the S.S.S. Hyperion with a single strike.

However, in combat, she often hesitated and failed to capitalize on her strengths effectively.

"During home-field battles, you must leverage your advantages. While Herrschers may vary slightly at their starting points, their upper limits don't differ greatly. Each Herrscher possesses world-destroying potential, which is why we Valkyries must swiftly control or eliminate them," Ana remarked calmly.

"Yes, Lady Ana." Feeling ashamed, Wendy buried her head in her arms. She understood that Lady Ana was guiding her. Despite not being a Herrscher herself, Lady Ana demonstrated greater prowess than Wendy ever did as one. Over these years, Wendy realized she had essentially forgotten much of what her teachers had taught her.

"All right, don't dwell on it too much. Just focus on improving once we return. Let's go meet up with Principal and the others now. Hold onto me tightly!" instructed Ana.

At first, Wendy didn't fully grasp what Ana meant by "hold onto me tightly," but soon, she would understand all too well.

As Ana abruptly retracted the wings sustaining her flight, temporarily disabling her power, gravity immediately took effect. Standing hundreds of meters above ground, they found themselves about to plummet rapidly—

They plummeted rapidly.

"Aaaaaah!" Wendy screamed.

As Ana swiftly descended with Wendy, despite being the former Fourth Herrscher, her confidence and courage derived solely from her Herrscher powers. With those abilities gone and her personality sealed, she reverted to the timid Wendy of old.

Jumping off a battleship wouldn't have scared Wendy ordinarily, but now it seemed Lady Ana hadn't taken any precautions—like jumping without a parachute.

With their imminent impact on the ground approaching, Wendy instinctively closed her eyes, terrified.

Just as they were about to crash, a timely gust of wind lifted Ana, enabling them to narrowly avoid hitting the earth at full speed.

To Theresa and others watching, this entrance appeared unremarkable. Only Wendy, having experienced it firsthand, could appreciate Ana's terrifying fearlessness.

This wasn't just extreme skydiving; it was practically bouncing back from the brink. Only someone with Ana's unwavering confidence could pull it off.

"Long time no see, Lady Theresa," Ana greeted, mimicking Rita's courteous bow.

"Mm-hmm, welcome back, Ana." Theresa nodded, unable to hide her delight.

Himeko also approached and gave Ana's shoulder a firm punch.

"You rascal! Finally returned, huh? Do you have any idea how exhausting it was covering for your classes?"

"Major Himeko, I suspect that had more to do with Kiana here, wouldn't you agree?"

"Hey, hey, don't blame me, Ana! When you were gone, I attended every class diligently!"

Kiana, overhearing their conversation nearby, hastily protested, somewhat disgruntled.

"Is that so? Has even Kiana grown up now?" Ana remarked wistfully. Compared to six months ago, Kiana indeed seemed more mature, having experienced much during that time.

"Oh right, Wendy, say hello to them too!" With that, Ana gently nudged Wendy forward from where she had been hiding behind her.

This girl... Despite sounding so composed when leaving her final message, she became timid and hesitant upon actually meeting everyone.
