Honkai Impact 3rd: Yumeji Satsuki's lies

Chapter 61: Chapter 61

BOOM!!!!!!!!!

The artillery stream and Honkai beam collided.

For a moment, space itself seemed to distort.

A massive explosion ripped through the sky.

The shockwave from the blast was powerful enough to push both titanic forces back.

Chiyou's Honkai energy was repelled.

But—

The explosion deflected the Hyperion's shot.

The cannonball didn't hit Chiyou squarely on the back—it only grazed the side of its face.

BOOM!!!!

Chiyou's face burned fiercely, and it roared in pain, thrashing in the ocean as the seawater evaporated around it, forming thick mist.

Then—

Chiyou plunged back into the ocean.

BOOM!!!!!

The entire ocean quaked.

Water columns more than 50 meters high shot into the sky like giant glass towers.

But that wasn't the worst of it.

The shockwave from the explosion sent the Hyperion reeling.

The ship was thrust backward through the air, skidding over 500 meters away from its original position.

—"The ship is off course! Engine 3 is overloaded!!"

Theresa gripped the handrail tightly, feeling the immense power of the explosion.

When the smoke and flames cleared, the sea was engulfed in deep darkness.

Chiyou had disappeared beneath the waves.

—"Is it… dead?"

No one answered.

And then—

Beneath the water… something stirred.

3:20 AM.

The night sea was ominously dark.

Embers from the previous battle still floated on the water's surface, casting red hues on the pitch-black surroundings. The Hyperion drifted, smoke rising from its cannons, while the remaining warships scrambled to regain their formation.

But Fu Hua had no time to wait.

She stood on the deck of a nearby fishing boat, the sea breeze cold and the waves lapping against the ship's sides as if issuing a warning.

She ignored it.

"I have to finish it off."

Fu Hua scanned the deck. There, she found a large harpoon gun—designed to take down giant sea creatures.

She checked the cable attached to the harpoon, then shouldered the weapon.

—"This should work."

Without hesitation, she leapt into the water.

BOOM!

The freezing water swallowed her, the pressure immense, but Fu Hua swam deeper, slicing through the darkness like a spear.

Somewhere at the bottom of the sea

Chiyou lurked in the depths.

It wasn't unconscious.

Though its face still burned, the creature was very much alive and recovering. The Honkai energy grooves on its body pulsed with eerie light, strange blood vessels throbbing slowly.

It was waiting.

It knew the enemy was still out there.

And as it predicted—

Fu Hua emerged.

She swam directly toward Chiyou, bearing the harpoon gun.

Chiyou's crimson eyes snapped open.

It roared.

The overwhelming pressure wave from its roar shook the ocean floor, causing the surrounding reefs to collapse like a cascading avalanche.

Fu Hua was caught in the vortex but did not falter.

She released a series of shockwaves from her arms, adjusting her course as she glided smoothly beneath Chiyou's belly.

There it was…!

Its weakness.

Deep under the tough scales, there was a faintly pulsing Honkai energy core.

And that was her target.

Fu Hua aimed.

She pulled the trigger—

BOOM!

The giant spear shot out like lightning, tearing through the water and piercing straight into the energy core.

Chiyou roared in pain.

Its gigantic body writhed, shaking the bottom of the sea, creating chaotic ocean currents.

But right after that—

BOOM!!!

Chiyou's tail lashed out at Fu Hua, sending her flying like a bullet through the darkness.

Her body slammed into a coral reef, sending rubble flying everywhere.

Her chest ached.

The seawater was dyed red.

Fu Hua gritted her teeth, trying to stay conscious.

Chiyou was charging.

Its mouth glowed—a Honkai beam was about to shoot straight at her.

There was no way to dodge.

But at that moment—

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Explosions tore through the darkness.

Military torpedoes from submarines attacked simultaneously!

3:25 AM.

The sea water was pitch black, like a bottomless abyss.

On the decks of the Guangzhou military submarines, the marines were watching with tense eyes. These ships, which had always been hidden in the deep darkness of the ocean, were now bursting with a latent panic, as the battlefield became a life-and-death battle between the giant Honkai monster and the human warriors.

On the third submarine in the formation, Sergeant Liu looked at the radar screen, his face hard but not hiding the tension. Suddenly, a dark figure flashed across their radar screen. It was no ordinary ship or sea creature.

—"It's here again!" Liu exclaimed, his eyes never leaving the screen.

He turned to his side, where the commanding officer, Captain Zhang, was adjusting the torpedo systems.

"Are we ready?" Liu asked, his voice trembling but determined.

Zhang didn't answer right away. He just nodded, then looked down at the control panel. A heavy, thick air hung between them, as they all knew that a small mistake could mean death.

Underwater, in the raging waves, Fu Hua was fighting fiercely with Chiyou. Everyone understood that if she couldn't finish off that giant monster, everything would collapse. It wasn't just her fight, but also the survival fight of all the soldiers on board, who were fighting in the cold darkness of the ocean.

—"Warning! Chiyou is recharging!"

—He didn't need to give an order. The marines were already prepared.

—"Open fire!" Zhang Shijie ordered.

Immediately, military torpedoes were launched from the launch tubes, cutting through the darkness and diving to the bottom of the sea at a dizzying speed.

Liu gripped the handrail tightly, his heart pounding as each torpedo left the ship, piercing through the dark water, carrying the last hope of saving Fu Hua.

—"All torpedoes have been launched, waiting for results!" Liu announced.

A loud bang rang out, under the sea—wind tore, water burst like an explosion at the bottom of the ocean.

—"Hit! We hit!" Liu shouted, but still could not escape the fear.

The water sprayed up like glass columns, the broken pieces of rocks at the bottom of the ocean fell like snow. But Chiyou, was not defeated.

Rushing out from the darkness, the monster created a powerful pressure wave, knocking the torpedoes out of their trajectory.

—"It's not dead?" A young soldier exclaimed in surprise.

Officer Zhang Shijie bit his lip, staring at the sonar screen. Chiyou was still alive, and now, it was returning to attack.

—"Prepare!" He ordered.

The marines immediately readjusted the remaining torpedoes, ready to attack.

—"If Fu Hua doesn't finish it, we'll be next!" Liu thought to himself, gritting his teeth and focusing on his work.

From the ship, the next wave of torpedoes was launched, but at that moment, a loud noise suddenly broke the atmosphere.

—"We can't leave Fu Hua alone!" He shouted.

"Everyone prepare for the next attack!"

The submarines opened fire in unison. The torpedoes cut through the water, rushing towards the monster, while the submarines moved closer, as if to create a barrier around Fu Hua and Chiyou, giving her time to complete her mission.

Under the sea, these successive attacks were just flashes of lightning in the dark night, while Fu Hua, still holding her will, continued to fight Chiyou, unaware that the soldiers were doing everything to support her.

"We won't give up," Liu whispered.

"We can't let that girl fight alone."

Immediately after that..

The submarines of the Guangzhou military force had just approached the battlefield—and began firing at Chiyou.

The explosions shook the ocean.

Chiyou roared in rage.

Fu Hua did not miss the opportunity.

She activated her consciousness steering, immediately taking command of the submarine fleet.

—"ALL UNITS, AIM AT WEAK POINT."

A series of torpedoes were launched from the submarines, aiming straight at the energy core.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A series of explosions tore apart Chiyou's armor, exposing its completely vulnerable weak point.

Fu Hua did not hesitate.

She charged forward at maximum speed.

She held the whale gun tightly, aiming straight at the weak point.

At zero distance—

SHE PUSHED THE TRIGGER.

BOOM!!!

The spear pierced straight into the energy core, deeply embedded inside Chiyou's body.

It roared in terrible pain.

Fu Hua let go of the gun, putting all her strength into her fist.

She punched the spear repeatedly.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Each punch was like a nail being driven deeper into Chiyou's body.

It was in unbearable pain.

Chiyou writhed violently, bouncing off the bottom of the sea.

The earthquake under the ocean pushed it straight up to the surface.

BOOM!!!!

Chiyou floated to the surface of the sea, screaming in rage.

But at that moment—

Fu Hua was sent flying like a bullet.

She flew straight toward a fishing boat drifting offshore.

Her body slammed into the deck, causing the wood to shatter into pieces.

She coughed, tasting blood in her mouth.

But…

Chiyou still didn't stop.

It raised its head, its mouth gathering a huge amount of energy.

It was about to bombard!

Fu Hua gritted her teeth, trying to stand up.

But at that moment—

The sound of a jet engine tore through the air.

The air force appeared.

Missiles fell from the sky.

A new battle had begun.

---

In the sky above the sea south of Guangzhou

The roar of fighter jets tore through the night.

The pilot in the cockpit looked down— a giant creature was writhing in the middle of the ocean, still alive after the fierce attacks.

"The target is still moving! The firepower is not enough to take it down!"

"Thunder Formation, continue to attack! Enter the firing range!"

Under the flashing lights from the storm offshore, Chiyou roared, its eyes reflecting the light like a demon coming out of hell.

Dark night.

Raging waves.

Fires burst from the capsized ships.

An unprecedented battle was taking place.

---

ON THE SURFACE OF THE SEA—

Fu Hua jumped up from the deck, still dazed from the previous impact.

Her back was in pain, but she didn't have time to breathe.

Chiyou was preparing to attack!

It inhaled, a huge stream of energy accumulating in its throat.

Honkai beam... charging!

Fu Hua jumped up and shouted into the radio:

—"ALL FIGHTERS, ATTACK IMMEDIATELY!"

Immediately—

Missiles rained down from the sky!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The explosions shook the sea.

Chiyou screamed—it was hit, but it did not stop.

It opened its mouth—and fired!

SPLASH——!

A giant Honkai beam shot straight into the sky, piercing through the swarm of fighters.

WHOOSH———BOOM!!!!

One fighter instantly caught fire, exploding into pieces.

The others flipped over, trying to avoid the destructive light.

"Report! We lost one plane!"

"Warning! The target has not been neutralized!"

Chiyou stirred, sinking a fishing boat right next to it with a terrifying swing of its tail.

Fu Hua gritted her teeth.

It was still too strong!

---

UNDER THE OCEAN—

The submarines were moving.

The commanding officer assessed the battlefield, then gave the order:

—"ALL SUBMARS, USE SPECIAL TORPEDOES!"

From the depths of the sea, Honkai torpedoes were launched—

Firing straight towards Chiyou.

WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!

The warheads pierced through the darkness, approaching the target.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The explosions shook the ocean floor.

Chiyou roared in pain—these were attacks that had aimed straight at its weak point!

-

RETURN TO THE SURFACE—

Fu Hua did not miss the chance!

She tried to stand firm, then activated all her power!

—She will end this right now!

She jumped off the deck, diving into the water like a silver arrow.

She dove deep, approaching the spear that was stuck in Chiyou's body.

Chiyou struggled violently, but she still held on tightly.

She gathered all her strength into a single punch.

"THIS IS THE END!"

SMACK!

The spear completely pierced Chiyou's energy core!

The final blow.

Chiyou roared, its entire body burning in the Honkai light

Its eyes… slowly dimmed.

—It was dying.

Its giant body floated in the ocean, the rays of light slowly fading away.

The nightmare is over.

---

IN THE SKY—

The fighter pilot breathed a sigh of relief.

—"Target destroyed. Repeat. Target destroyed."

The sky returned to peace.

But—

The disaster was not over yet.

Because…

At the bottom of the sea, something was still alive.

AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA—

Dark.

And cold.

Chiyou's body was motionless, floating in the depths of the ocean.

It should have died.

But…

In the distance, an underwater volcano began to erupt.

Crimson magma shot up from a crack in the Earth's crust.

And it was right there—

Right below Chiyou's body.

Lava flows into its torn wounds, mixing with the Honkai energy that is poisoning the entire surrounding sea.

Molten rock is sucked into its body.

Chiyou begins to move.

—Its eyes open.

WHOOO ...

SOMEWHERE ON THE COAST OF GUANGZHOU –

The waves crashed against the shore, carrying with them the metal fragments from the ships that Chiyou had torn apart earlier.

Fu Hua emerged from the water.

She gasped.

Her body ached, and every wound on her body felt like it was burning her flesh from within.

But she still had to stand up.

It wasn't over yet.

In the distance—

A violent earthquake shook the surface of the sea.

From Fu Hua's perspective, she saw it.

Chiyou was returning.

The nightmare began again.

---

Inside the cockpit of the fighter, the military pilot was stunned to see the monster rising from the sea.

—"What the hell is this…?"

—"The target… has been reborn?!?"

Chiyou roared, the shockwave blew everything around, making the planes lose balance, the red warning rang throughout the control panel.

The military fleet began to move.

The waves rose, a series of warships cut through the waves and approached.

The fleet commander adjusted the radio, sending an emergency signal:

—"Commander of the Hyperion! Do you hear me?! We need immediate support!"

On the other side of the communication wave, Theresa immediately replied.

—"We are ready. Give the Hyperion a chance to fire its artillery!"

All troops mobilized at full strength.

●●●●

The destroyers opened fire simultaneously!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

A series of cannonballs exploded on Chiyou's back, but this time—

It was unharmed!

The heat from the lava covering its body deflected all the fire.

It wagged its tail—

BOOM!

A column of water hundreds of meters high shot up, sinking a destroyer in an instant.

Then, a fighter jet swooped down—and fired a missile!

WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!

Rays of light tore through the sky—

But Chiyou counterattacked immediately.

It absorbed Honkai from the environment, then fired a giant heat pulse!

CHUU——!

BOOM!!!!

A series of planes burst into flames, exploding like fireworks in the sky.

The destroyers unleashed all their firepower, but it was no different from paper bullets.

Chiyou stretched itself up, opening its mouth wide—

A giant Honkai beam shot straight towards the fleet.

The light pierced through everything

BOOM!!!!

A heavy warship was torn in half instantly.

—"We can't hold on any longer!"

On the intercom, Theresa's voice rang out firmly, without any hesitation.

—"Hyperion, get in position. IT'S TIME TO FINISH!"

---

ON THE HYPERION BATTLESHIP –

The target tracking system is complete.

The gun barrel is charging.

Theresa gripped the radio, her eyes cold.

—"ALL UNITS, LEAVE THE AREA IMMEDIATELY!"

The warships began to move, but Chiyou wouldn't let them escape.

It swung its tail, a huge kinetic wave swept through the entire area, tossing the ships like toys.

The pilots barely escaped, but some of the ships were unfortunately overturned.

—"THIRTY SECONDS LEFT BEFORE BALLISTIC BALL!"

Theresa didn't take her eyes off the target.

The Hyperion began charging.

Chiyou roared, sensing the threat.

—"TEN SECONDS!"

Chiyou opened its mouth, charging Honkai energy.

It knew it had to attack first.

—"FIVE SECONDS!"

Two streams of energy exploded at the same time!

Honkai beam from Chiyou—

And the cannon fire from Hyperion!

CHIU——!

BOOM———!!!!!!!

The two sources of power collided.

A bright explosion tore through the sky

.

The tsunami surged, the sea surface was stormy, the entire fleet shook.

Chiyou screamed in pain—

The body was blown away.

The sky was lit up by the explosion.

—But was it really over...?

***

4:02 A.M – ON THE COAST OF GUANGZHOU

The smell of gunpowder had not yet dissipated.

The wreck of the destroyer bobbed on the sea, its fire still smoldering in the darkness. Wave after wave washed up on the shore, carrying with it fragments of shattered metal—the last remnants of a battle that had lasted more than 30 minutes.

In the sky, streaks of light flickered—the traces of the last fighter planes torn apart by Chiyou.

And in the middle of that desolate sea, a giant black shadow slowly rose.

Chiyou.

It was still alive.

"This is bad…"

Theresa bit her lip, her eyes glued to the radar screen in the Hyperion's cockpit.

That monster had been hit by their strongest artillery barrage—and yet, it had not yet fallen.

No, not just not yet.

It was preparing to fire back.

---

ON THE SURFACE OF THE SEA –

Chiyou roared.

A beam of light began to gather from its mouth.

It was aiming at the Hyperion.

It wanted to kill everyone together.

This caused Theresa, who was standing in command in the cockpit of the battleship, to curse silently.

"What a damn monster, DAMN IT!"

All that monster knew was destruction.

The bright lines on Chiyou's throat emitted a dazzling light, the surrounding seawater boiled, and streams of hot steam rose into the sky.

The Hyperion was unable to dodge in time.

Everyone knew that—

"If it fires... we will all die."

---

BUT AT THAT MOMENT—

From a corner of the shore nearly two kilometers away, another ray of light shot up.

SHUCK!

Chiyou was startled.

That thing tore through the air, shooting straight toward its wide-open mouth.

A missile.

---

FIVE MINUTES AGO—

Fu Hua collapsed, her entire body aching.

She was exhausted.

The previous battle—being thrown off the battlefield, falling onto the shore, seemingly dead.

However, just when she thought she couldn't do anything anymore—

BOOM!

An airstrike plane that had been shot down by Chiyou crashed onto the shore a few dozen meters away.

Smoke billowed.

From the wreckage of the plane, Fu Hua saw something flashing.

An unexploded missile.

A chance.

She gritted her teeth and used all her strength to stand up.

"If I can throw it right into Xi You's mouth..."

She knew that was the only thing that could save Hyperion right now.

But...

A normal human couldn't possibly throw a missile that weighed hundreds of kilograms.

Fu Hua was human.

But she wasn't just human.

She was also a Valkyrie, the ones who charged into the front lines to destroy those damn Honkai monsters!

With all her remaining strength, and the support from her armor activated to its maximum, she hugged the missile, kicking the sand with her feet to gain momentum.

Then, she ran.

Ran.

Ran.

Each step she took tore through the wind, sand flying with each kick.

And when she was only ten meters away from the water's edge—

She stopped.

She took a deep breath.

Her hand reached back.

Then she threw!

---

PRESENT —

The missile flew straight into Chiyou's mouth.

It was taken by surprise.

It didn't have time to close its mouth.

AND———

BOOM!!!!

An explosion ripped through its throat.

Chiyou roared in pain.

Its entire body trembled, the Honkai energy flow was interrupted, shooting out in all directions.

The Hyperion had avoided destruction.

---

ON THE HYPERION –

Theresa watched the scene through the radar screen.

Fu Hua.

She had done it.

With all her remaining strength, with an impossible throw, she had created the only chance to finish this monster off.

Theresa grinned.

She turned on the communication microphone, pointing her index finger straight at the screen—

"Chiyou! I have a parting gift for you!"

She turned to the artillery team.

"Charge the cannons—FULL POWER!"

The system screamed.

The cannon barrels glowed, the Honkai energy stream compressed to the highest possible density.

—"LOCK ON TARGET!"

Chiyou was still roaring in pain, its mouth was destroyed, unable to return fire.

"SHOOT——!!!!"

CHIU———!!!!!

From the Hyperion battleship, a huge beam of light exploded, tearing apart the night sky.

Chiyou was blown away.

It roared one last time.

Then its body exploded.

The light swallowed the night sky.

The tsunami erupted, but the Hyperion activated the energy barrier, protecting the entire fleet.

Chiyou—the monster that once terrorized the world—was finally completely destroyed.

Seeing that scene, Theresa leaned back in her chair, breathing a sigh of relief.

"Finally done..."

On the shore, Fu Hua collapsed, her entire body drained of strength.

But...

She smiled.

She had done it.

A bloody night, a horrifying battle, a nightmare that no one wanted to remember.

But at least everyone survived.

And the sun...

Finally rose.

"Oh right, what about Himeko's group!?"-Theresa shouted in panic, realizing that she had forgotten about them

In the space right above Chiyou's body that had been burned to ashes

A large crack appeared in the space, because Chiyou had died, the space inside it collapsed, and the people in that space were thrown out in a strong beam of light.

-CHUU!

And their bodies fell helplessly into the sea because of the sudden shock and sudden change in temperature.

On the shore, Fu Hua looked at that scene and let out a sigh. She realized that she still had work to do.

Because among the people who fell out of that space was a drowning fish that needed urgent rescue.

"Truly... what a troublesome disciple."

Fu Hua muttered that, and started to speed up her swimming to save a certain annoying idiot from drowning in the sea.
