Hold over Myriad of Worlds

We exited the hotel with Black Swan and Acheron in tow, heading toward the Grand Theater, towering over the whole city. The atmosphere today was much different than always. Many people whispered between themself about the Family and some shady dealings.

-"The Family, huh?"

-"You know them, Yue?"

-"No, never meet any of them. Long before Penacony was established, I visited this place to train the power of Remembrance. Along with information from IPC, I have some understanding of workings behind the scenes."

-"Path of Remembrance? Are you also Memokeeper?"

-"I'm not. Treat me as an unaffiliated person, Black Swan."

-"Hmm... You are more and more interesting."

-"Be careful not to be too interested."-Nobu warned her.

-"Don't worry, I won't steal your man."

-"Sigh. It's not that I'm afraid of."

We walked toward the theater, but suddenly, we found ourselves surrounded by a crowd. Seeing that this was intentional, we were prepared for confrontation until a crow landed near us.

-"Your presence here will disrupt my master plans, Emanator of Nihility. Leave."-A voice sounded from the crow.

Before we could give any response, we all were dragged out of the dream into reality. Black Swan and I could have resisted this, but we allowed ourselves to be taken with the rest. We gathered in the lobby of the hotel to decide on what to do next. 

-"Who was that?"-Asked surprised Elysia.

-"Dreammaster. He is the true person behind the scenes in control of the Family."-Black Swan cleared our doubts.?

-"He didn't want you there, Acheron. Why is that so?"

She looked at me for a moment after hearing my question.

-"I believe that me being Emanator of Nihility has something to do with it."

-"You weren't invited here, right?"

She nodded.

-"I believe that followers of Order have some plans that require many people, but Nihility can disrupt them."

-"Yue, you think that they want to revive Aeon of Order?"

-"Hmm... I can't say anything for certain."

-"We have to go back and help the Astral Express crew."-Said Astraea

-"I can take you there if you want."

-"Let's go then!"-Shouted Elysia.

-"If you want, then go with Black Swan. I have something to check quickly."

In the end, we split up. I teleported to the place where I met Aeons before. Aha and Mythus were expecting my arrival.

~"Oh! Yue, you are back. How's vacation going?"

-"Everything is great. Fuli, thanks for helping me there."

~"No problem."

~"You are here for our plans, right?"

-"Yes. I thought that you only wanted to have some fun with followers of Order, but now I think something more is going on."

~"Yue, you shouldn't ask for spoilers."

-"I want to know if you plan to do something to Ena."

~"Why?"

-"Aha, you know that the main reason I don't want to interact with you is because of what you did to THEM."

~"I know that. While my plan involves Ena, it won't harm her."

~"Yue, do you want THEM to revive?"

-"Xipe, you know that I don't want to choose between you and THEM."

~"I'm aware, but I'm also aware that out of all of us, it was Ena you were closest to." 

~"You wouldn't be avoiding us for so long if you were not devastated by what happened there."

-"That's true. I believe that after Ena's disappearance, our friendship was irreversibly damaged. I don't blame any of you, as I know that you didn't want that to happen. In the end, it was an accident."

~"Sigh. I truly wish that we can return to what we were before that."

-"I also want that, but any way to achieve that would either harm you or Ena, which I don't want to see."

~"In truth, I already decided what to do next."

-"So you truly plan to do this. It will harm you."

~"With the assistance of Fuli, I can be sure that our power won't fall below Aeon. We will definitely lose some power, but we will be able to exist independently."

-"What can I do to help you?"

~"Are you sure you want to involve yourself with us again?"

-"Do you think I do not want our group to once again travel beyond the frontier?"

~"Hadn't you found your new family?"

-"I did, but I still think of you as my friends."

~"Then can you use the power of Abundance to create bodies for me and Ena?"

-"I don't mind, but why do you need them?"

~"After completing our plan, while still being Aeons, we will be too weak to act from outside the world as we do now. Physical forms will be necessary."

-"I'll assist you with all I have. Fuli, some Finality won't harm, right?"

~"Indeed, but can you sustain your power? You haven't ascended, after all."

-"I have a way."

~"Then I'll be happy to receive your assistance."

~"Those little guys and your girls, Yue, are already in combat, so be ready."

-"What do you plan to do?"

~"Use that Stellaron to split Ena from me while you and Fuli make sure we don't lose too much in the process."

The shaking of the dreamscape was a signal for us to move.

On the scene of the Grand Theater, the Astrall Express crew, along with girls and a few other supporters, were comforting a giant puppet filled with the power of Order. Xipe helped them by giving Robin some of her power to resist Order, and they soon were able to strike their opponent down.

Acheron drew the power of Nihility to shatter the power of Order, but I blocked her attack. My appearance surprised everyone present, especially when I defended their enemy.

-"Yue?"

-"Sorry for that, but I can't let you destroy that Stellaron."

-"It is dangerous! If we let it alone, it will merge Memoria with the real world."

-"I'm well aware of that. This is also why I need this thing."

I approached the puppet and, reaching into it, pulled the man similar to Robin. After healing him, I threw him into a crowd. He was caught by Welt.

-"Yue, can you explain what you plan to do?"-Asked Nobu.

-"Well, I plan to save a friend."

-"What friend would require to use Stellaron to save?"-Asked Black Swan.

-"Ena of Order."

My answer silenced everyone present. 

-"Who are you to call Aeon your friend."-Black Swan was the first to react.-"Or are you simply mudding water?"

-"Fuli, stop your follower."

-"What are you..."

~"Stop it, child. What is about to happen is beyond your strength."

The sudden appearance of Aeon shocked those present.

-"How do we start?"

~"We have to use Stellaron to separate Order from Harmony."

-"Ok, I'll use it while you, Fuli, guide two of them."

~"Leave it to me. Xipe, are you ready?"

~"I'll leave myself in your hands, Yue, Fuli."~Xipe appeared, once again making those present freeze.

-"Aha, Mythus, can you please keep the crowd safe?"

~"Leave them to us!"

~"Don't worry about them. Focus on your performance."

I nodded and started using the Stellaron. Slowly exerting power upon Xipe, I started to draw the power of Order from THEM, separating the two. As I started using more power, tails started emerging behind me.

Fuli utilized THEIR power to help Ena's ego recover while regenerating any harm to Xipe's one. I employed the power of Finality and Permanence to assist Fuli with her task while creating bodies for two Aeons with the power of Permanence.

Using multiple paths at the same time was taxing on me, so I used an ability that I gained from Alaya. Tunning into paths of Harmony and Order, I used countless Pathstriders following those to assist me in my task. 

This was similar to how Alaya was Will of Humanity, taking a small part from every 'human' being to gather power big enough to approach Aeon.

Seeing me use that ability made Aha and Mythus amazed, as it allowed me to temporarily transcend to become a False Aeon. My form shattered, becoming a black silhouette created from the starry sky that contrasted with my pure white tails and hair. In addition, a dragon and deer manifested by my side, one representing Permanence while the other Abundance.

Under careful control, all of the Order was extracted from Xipe. This, of course, left Harmony weak, so Fuli quickly fused THEM into the body. Soon, a woman with long hair that is white with a twinkling dark purple ombré rose from the ground. Her appearance was ethereal, making it easy to understand that while physical, she was still Aeon.

Now, fully focusing on Order, I used Permanence to assist Fuli in regenerating Ena's spirit. We were able to heal it enough for it to be considered Aeon, so we slowly put it into the prepared body.

With our help, another figure slowly stood up from the ground. This time, it was a young girl whose appearance was with no blemish, excluding the untouchable aura of those who rule over life and death. She had blue eyes and long, pure white hair.

She slowly moved her arms while looking at them, getting used to the material body. After a short while, she approached Xipe.

-"Thank you for sacrificing part of your power to allow my separation from you."

-"There is no need to thank me. I did that because what had happened was partly my mistake. Besides, we always were close."

Two women then turned to me. Their eyes showed worry about my current state.

~"Don't worry, I'll be fine after a while. I just have to recreate my body. Nothing serious."

-"While I believe that recreating a body is rather serious, I can see that you aren't harmed."

-"I'm happy to see you again, Yue."

~"Me too, Ena. I'm truly glad."

~"Yue!!! You are truly the best!"

~"This time, I fully agree with Aha. The ability you used is something that eludes even my Enigmata."

~"I'm happy to document this moment. It is even more special than the ascension of new Aeon."

~"I believe you exaggerate this, Fuli. This state is only temporary. I'm already slowly losing power."

~"This is why it is so fascinating. You hadn't ascended, as you didn't establish a new Path. You become equal to Aeon purely by the amount of power you possess."

-"I could feel how you drew power from those who follow my path."

-"I also felt that. You never disappoint to overturn my preconceptions, Yue."

~"Ok. let's stop this talk for now. Give me some time to recreate my body, and we can then talk."

I moved to the side and, under the watchful eyes of the crowd, returned to my normal appearance. During the time it took me, girls approached Ena and Xipe and started talking with them.

They already knew that I knew most Aeons before their ascension, but they didn't know my story with Ena after her ascension. Ena told them how I would appear now and then in her life to shake the path of Order she established. She also explained how I gathered her and Qlipoth with yet unascended Akivli and Xipe to travel beyond the known world.

-"Werent you already Aeon then?"

-"Indeed, Yue convinced me to take human form and travel with him. Not long after, others joined, and we traveled the world."

-"To think that something like that happened."

-"For me, it's more unbelievable that he settled down. I know now that it was because he knew that we would ascend, but many Aeons had special emotions for Yue, but he always rejected us."

-"Xipe is right. Once, after my ascension, I suggested he be my equal but was turned down. Yet now, not only is he in multiple relationships, but you even managed to make him take a leading role."

Seeing me approach, they turned to me and were stunned for a moment.

-"Is something wrong?"

-"Probably because you become Aeon, even if false one, your appearance becomed more refined. You look similar to us. No one would take you as a lower being."

-"I see. Is the difference really that big?"

-"I suggest using illusion if you don't want to be stared at non-stop."

~"Then allow me to help you this time. Treat it as thank you for showing me something so mysterious."

Mythus used his power to create a veil. It was white and covered my face from the nose down.

~"This veil can not only hide your appearance but also your aura. With it, you can choose how noticeable you will be in the eyes of others."

-"Thank you Mythus. I was looking for something that could serve this purpose for some time."

~"I'm glad you like it. I'll be leaving now, don't worry, I'll take Aha with me."

-"Thank you again."

Biding farewell to Mythus and Aha, I returned my attention to the girls, who recovered from their stupor after I received the veil.

-"How do I look?"

-"This adds little mystery to you. I quite like it."-Awnsered Nobu.

-"Yes!"-Supported her Elysia.

The rest simply nodded in agreement.

-"Xipe, Ena, what do you plan to do now?"

-"I haven't thought about it yet."

-"I'm also the same. I'd like to join you if I can."

-"You are always welcome. You too, Xipe."

-"Then I'll also follow you from now on."

-"We are still on vacation, so how about joining us? You won't mind them joining us, girls?"-I asked my family.

-"We won't. I believe that we all want to get to know them, as they will be a more permanent addition to our family."

-"I'm sorry for that, but as Yue now won't turn me down, I will take part of him for myself."-Declared Ena.

-"I also won't let this occasion slip through my fingers."-Agreed Xipe.

Seeing that girls made plans among themselves, I turned to the last reaming Aeon present.

-"What about you, Fuli?"

~"I'll also be leaving. I stabilized the dreamscape so that it won't be sinking anymore."

-"Thank you for that. Won't you say a few words to your follower?"

~"Hmm... You are called Black Swan, right? I saw your work here, and it gave me many precious memories, for which I'm thankful. I hope you continue on your path."

Fuli left after that, but thanks to that exchange, Black Swan officially became an Emanator of Remembrance. She bowed to me, expressing her thanks.

Everybody returned to the reality, and we decided to have dinner together. As the girls demanded for me to cook, I went to the kitchen while the rest sat and waited.

Using the power of Finality to manipulate time, I was able to prepare everything in a few minutes and join them. After everything that happened, Acheron finally got to know that I was an Emanator like her. This make her interested in me, as I could use the power of Nihility to a similar degree as her, yet be unaffected by its side effects.

I taught her some meditation techniques derived from Permanence and Remembrance that should help he with her memories. Jingliu proposed that she would help Acheron in meditation in exchange for training with her, to which Acheron agreed.

Seeing her partner being poached before her eyes, Black Swan also decided to follow us later. Meanwhile, we continued our vacation, using the remaining time we had. After the week passed, we decided to return to the Hold. But before we were able to leave, one more person appeared and stopped us.
