Hold over Myriad of Worlds

When an eruption happened, nobody was sure what happened or what to do. Everyone simply looked into the sky where the new Herrscher appeared. This time, it was Herrscher of the Void.

-"Well, it would seem that our time has arrived. Sakura, I'll leave people in your hands. Shenhe, you take care of the mechas. Jingliu, your job is to kill the Honkai monsters that would appear."

-"Yes."

-"I'll take care of Herrscher. You trained in activating the formation. If the need arises, you will help me do the same thing I did to Rin."

-"You can leave it to us."

-"Himeko, this situation is too strange to be a coincidence. Be ready to use your orbital strike."

-"I'll be on the lookout."

-"Then let's us go"

We descended onto the battlefield, our arrival generating yet another surprise for the people there.

-"Guys!"

-"March, Dan Heng, Stelle, take care of your new friends. Venti, help me keep a clear sky. If Welt arrives, tell him to control those toys."

-"OK."

As I started arranging tasks, Shenhe moved and froze the surrounding area whole, with mechs still in it. Sakura also moved. After warning to not do anything stupid, got ready to send heads flying.

This show of force, in addition to Herrscher still in the sky, convinced most to wait rather than continue fighting. Jingliu moved with me toward the mass of Honkai.

-"Please help Kiana, don't do anything to her.-Sounded the voice of Mei behind us.

-"No need to worry, Mei. Those four are our companions. They will save her from whatever happened."-March calmed down Mei and explained to the rest.

-"They are also so strong. Where did you all come from?"

-"Teacher Himeko, you are mistaken. Compared to Yue and Jingliu there, our strength is not even worth considering."

I arrived near the Herrscher, who was now awakened and started looking around.

-"Kinana, right? Would you mind calming down and controlling the Honkai energy you are emitting?"

-"You humans should not exist!"

-"Well, negotiation failed."

I took out Oath of Silence. Striking the ground, I made the surrounding space more solid to denay Herrscher of the Void use of her basic abilities. Feeling that she couldn't open portals anymore, Kiana flew in an even stronger rage.

-"How dare you! I'm Lord of the Void! Why can you block my power?!"

-"While I don't mind explaining, you first must return to your normal self."

-"What self! She was but a puppet, an experiment of those unhinged humans. They wished for her to become me, and now I'm here."

This revelation echoed in now silent surroundings. Only slowly rising bloodlust from certain pink fox made others wake up from their stupor.

-"Hmm... You want to say that you were created to become Herrscher. Why?"

-"Who knows, who cares?! They wanted a monster, and they got one!"

-"Sakura! Go and bring me all of those responsible."

-"Yes, my Lord!"

-"Kiana, would you mind waiting for a while? I'll make sure to uncover what happened here."

-"Do what you want. You are stronger. It's not like I can do anything to stop you."

After saying that, she walked down and stood next to me. Why are you on the side of humans? I can feel you are different from them.

-"I'm not on their side either. I just do what I think is right."

-"And you think that erasing me for that clone is right?"

-"No. You are not controlled by Honkai. I plan to merge you both together. After all, without you, she will die, and without her, you will disappear."

-"..."

-"Think about it. You two are the same in the end."

I looked at approaching members of St. Freya school. They looked at me warily, knowing that I was strongest here.

-"Thank you for your assistance, but can you make her return Kiana?"

-"Then Otto, do you mind explaining what is going on?"

-"Well, it's not exactly a pleasant story to hear."

-"No. Will you or will you not explain?"

-"..."

-"I see. Then I'll get the explanation directly."

-"And how do you plan to achieve that?"

-"I know that you are only a puppet, but your soul is still true."- I activated the power of the emanator of Finality, my tails showing behind.-"Lest directly see your past."

Shadows started appearing around. Otto saw that and tried to escape with his soul but was unable to overcome the power of the Oath of Silence I used to keep him here.

Scenes of his past started playing all around, his story one of tragedy and obsession. By the end, while everyone couldn't like this person, none could hate him either.

-"Help me connect with that girl. I don't have much connection to the rest of Honkai, and this is the only way to survive."

-"Kiana has made her choice. What about the rest of you?"

-"If you can make sure we won't change, then I also want to fuse with Herrscher of Thunder."

-"Bronya will also follow."

-"Hidden danger is better to be eliminated earlier."

-"Brother Venti believes you, so I will too."

-"Good. I'll get everything ready."

I started preparing the formation. Fu Xuan also arrived from the Hold to help me. Others meanwhile were getting explanations about Hold. Dr. Mei and Kevin also showed up. The similarity between Mei and Dr. Mei caused a stir, but in the end, they simply became sisters.

Kevin was thinking something inappropriate until Dr. Mei put him in his place. Seeing that, I looked at Jingliu and Sakura standing by the side. Having a sigh of relief about my future, I continued working.

Fu Hua also showed up. Because of her becoming MANTIS, she had white-red hair and appeared only slightly similar to Hua from this side. She told her about her encounter with 8th Herrscher and how using one of her powers resulted in loss of memory.

Welt also returned which members of Anti-Entropy. They were in the middle of accepting reality but happily agreed to become part of Hold. Only Cocolia was punished for her actions, and nobody talked about her.

Only when Himeko showed up did everyone from this world have disbelief written on their faces. She was identical to their Himeko. If not for the outfit and some minor details in the aura, it would be hard to tell them apart.

In the end, we agreed to call Himeko by her surname, Murata. Both Himekos started talking about some subjects that I shouldn't have heard. Leaving self-proclaimed 'left-over women' to themselves, I finally laid the whole formation.

-"OK, guys, time to get things done. Fu Hua, do you also plan to join? Herrscher inside can be dangerous to you, like one of Hua."

-"Yes, please take care of me, Yue."

-I'll make sure you all are all right. This time, everyone will enter my mental realm, as only that way can we solve everything at once."

-"And refrain from destroying someone's spirit like last time."-Interjected Fu Xuan.

-"Cough... Inside, I'll help you manifest your Herrscher. What you have to do is either reach an agreement or defeat it. Your choice. Any questions?"

-"Won't your mental space be harmed by us?"

-"No need to worry, Fu Hua. Even if all of you started destroying it, nothing would happen. Just don't wander around."

-"Will something bad happen if we will?"

I now stand in endless white plain. Nothing in sight. The next moment, girls appeared, looking around.

-"There is nothing here, no need to look. I will manifest your Herrschers. Be ready."

Soon, another six figures appeared. Fu Hua started a fight with Herrscher of sentience instantly. The strength of both surprised the rest of the girls. Especially Hua looked at her Herrscher and wondered if she was so strong.

-"Don't worry about me. I'm much weaker. After all, I don't have a connection to the rest of Honkai."

-"Then do you agree to fuse with me? Yes, but from now on, you will not be a servant to others. I won't allow it."

-"I'm not a servant."

-"Then stop behaving like one. Learn a lesson from that white man, and do what you want."

-"I'll try."

-"Good enough for now."

Hua started her fusion. Kiana and Herrscher of the Void also started talking, but nothing important was said. Mei was being lectured by Herrscher.

-"You are weak. Constantly losing important things and having someone save you. Are you not ashamed to be our host?"

-"I'm not..."

-"Heh. Even that different 'you' with no power has risen to a level where she rules over the whole planet, and you with more power still play good wive in the kitchen for these children."

-"..."

-"What cat got your tongue? Our power stems from the core of Conquest. You will not be able to use it if you don't have a target to conquer. I know, how about him? He seems to be a good fit for us."

-"Stop... I'm not like that..."-Mei was getting redder by a second.

Deciding to move on, I focused on Bronya, whose Herrscher has the appearance of a man with dark hair and blue eyes.

-"So you are my successor?"

-"Yes."

-"I don't mind giving you my powers."

Their communication power was almost at Shenhe's rank. As such, listening to them was rather boring. The last person here was Wendy. She also was peacefully talking with her Herrscher.

-"Now you understand that everybody is lying?"

-"Not everybody is!"

-"Heh, your brother Venti is also not upfront with you. His power is not something humans can possess."

-"But he saved me! He just had to keep secret about his identity."

-"You should be thankful I'm here to help you..."

-"I'm thankful. That's why I want to fuse with you.

Discussions continued for some time, but all five girls started fusions with their Herrshers, proving once again that Talk-No-Jutsu is truly fearsome. Taking a look at still fighting Fu Hua, this feeling only intensified.

Luckily, Fu Hua did not disappoint and quickly defeated her opponent. She did not fuse with the power of Herrscher, as its core was already used in her weapon.

Returning to my side, she bowed lightly.

-"Thank you for allowing me to destroy that thing fully."

-"No need to thank me. We are comrades, after all."

-"Yes."-Fu Hua smiled softly and waited with me for rest.

One by one, they finished their fusions. They appeared with a slightly altered appearance from before. Kiana's eyes became orange, Bronya recovered her legs, and Wendy's Hair changed similarly to Venti's, glowing at the ends when using power.

The more visible change appeared in Hua and Mei. Hua's hair grew long, and her eyes turned red. The biggest difference was her aura, which became wild. 

Mei, on the other hand, had her hair grown long enough to touch the ground, but the most striking difference were the red oni horns that grew on her forehead.

This attracted the attention of her friends, who quickly surrounded her. After a round of touching them, they approached my side.

-"Ready to go?"

-"Yes, we are truly thankful for your help."

-"No problem. Just be sure to join Hold."

-"Yes, we will."

-"Then, as comrades, there is no need for thanks between us."

I then send them out of my mental space. When I also was about to leave, a voice sounded.

~"Why don't you do as you preach?"

-"..."

~"Heh, It is as that human Otto said. Hypocrisy is permanent."

-"Isn't that your fault?"

~"Fault? No child chooses its parents. You simply can't accept that. That Kiana girl resembles our situation. Clone created to manifest power. You think of yourself that, right?"

-"..."

~"I'm sure that next time we speak, you will have a different attitude to this subject."

-"We will see."

~"We will. Just remember, the world will not wait for you. Better accept me before you lose something important."

-"I will defend everything."

I left with THEIR voice echoing in empty space on my mental scape. Outside, everyone was surrounding girls, talking about their change in appearance. 

-"You alright, Yue?"

-"Fu Xuan? Yes, all is good."

-"After they left, the formation suddenly became overloaded, and I had to remove myself from it. Something happened there, right?"

-"..."

-"Also, I never heard of mental space, that is nothing but white. You are hiding something."

-"Fu Xuan. Sometimes, it's better not to point something out."

-"..."

-"I know you are worried about me, and I'm thankful for that, but I'm afraid you will be disappointed if you know the reason why it looks like this."
