Wade used Occlumency to temporarily block out the system's annoying notification sounds.

Those notification sounds were too distracting during battle, interfering with his ability to listen for footsteps.

After casting an Invisibility Charm over himself, Wade quietly lifted the flap of the tent and slipped inside.

The space inside the tent was enormous; it was practically like someone had stuffed a three-story building into it.

At the entrance of the tent, two goblins were seated.

Clearly, they had no idea that the sentries outside had already been silently eliminated.

"The patrol led by Kari still hasn't come back. Do you think something happened to them?" one of the goblins suddenly asked.

"Who knows? The captain is fuming about it," the other goblin said, taking a drag from his large pipe and exhaling lazily.

"Don't you think it's serious? Their patrol losing contact likely means something went wrong."

"You don't understand. The captain already sent scouts to the direction they were headed, but they found nothing!" The goblin took two more puffs from his pipe, then continued, "The captain's just worried they might've found that power and decided to keep it for themselves without reporting... You know as well as I do how tempting that power is to us."

"But didn't the instrument still show that power exists?"

"Heh, who knows how much of that magic is left in the Forbidden Forest? The captain is afraid they found a vein of it and are following the trail, collecting more along the way. If that happens... maybe our captain will become Kari instead..."

"That's true... if they really absorbed that power, the captain probably wouldn't be Kari's match. No wonder he's so furious!"

"We better be careful too. Everyone's been searching all day and still hasn't found them. The captain's about to explode... we can't afford to be the target of his anger... Wait! Who are you?!"

The two goblins had been chatting away when they suddenly noticed, to their horror, a cloaked wizard had somehow appeared at the entrance of the tent.

His black cloak obscured his face, making it impossible to see his features.

"Me? I am—Well, never mind!"

However, before they could react any further, their heads were suddenly severed and fell to the ground.

Scarlet blood quickly soaked the floor.

Wade, protected by a Blood-Red Shield Charm stained with the goblins' blood, stepped over their corpses with an expressionless face.

From their conversation, Wade had confirmed that they still hadn't found the bodies of the three goblins from the previous night.

Which meant his actions had yet to be discovered — these goblins were still unaware of what had happened.

And now, every goblin that had come to the Forbidden Forest was gathered inside this tent.

Good… very good… this way, none of them would escape.

Wade was delighted as he raised his wrist.

"Nagini... tell me their positions."

With Nagini's assistance, Wade was like an assassin with eagle vision.

With complete map awareness, the exact locations of the goblins were fully exposed.

As he advanced, goblin after goblin fell confusedly beneath his wand.

According to his Senior's story, none of these goblins were good folk.

So, Wade had absolutely no hesitation in his actions.

Very soon, he was approaching the largest room on the third floor. At this point, the only goblin left in the entire tent was the goblin captain inside that room.

However, just as he got close, suddenly the room's alarm went off!

"Who's there!"

The door burst open with a loud bang!

Wade casually raised his wand.

The fragments of the door were instantly swept aside!

A goblin with blood-red eyes strode out, clutching a wand in his right hand!

Goblins were capable of using wands, but their right to use them had long been stripped away by the Ministry of Magic.

However, this goblin held his wand openly and brazenly, clearly someone who had no regard for the Ministry at all.

Wade noticed a shattered mirror lying on the floor behind him in the room.

Obviously, he had been discovered because of this mirror.

The goblin captain caught the scent of blood on Wade and couldn't help but feel a surge of panic.

"You… who are you? What have you done to them?"

Wade didn't respond.

Seeing this, the goblin immediately raised his wand, its tip flickering with red light!

But just as the red light flared at the tip of the wand, before the spell could even shoot out, the light abruptly went out…

Eh,,?

The goblin stared blankly at the wand in his hand, which had snapped cleanly in two, and at the gaping wound carved across his chest!

Thud!

The goblin captain collapsed powerlessly to the ground…

Even as his body struck the cold, hard floor, he still couldn't understand how he had been hit by the spell!

Wade slowly approached the dying goblin captain, looking down at him from above.

The goblin captain struggled to lift his head, trying desperately to see the face of the wizard standing before him.

But the wizard's features were hidden deep beneath the shadow of his cloak; no matter how hard he tried, he simply couldn't make them out…

"Oh? You still have some consciousness left? How pitiful… vitality unmatched by strength is just another flaw."

...

When Wade walked out of the tent, ten minutes had already passed.

Without looking back, he lightly tapped his wand, and the large tent behind him instantly caught fire.

A few seconds later, the tent was engulfed in roaring flames.

Just as Wade was about to leave, a few crackling sounds suddenly rang out in the air.

He froze in place; he was very familiar with this sound.

It was the sound of Apparition!

Sure enough, at the entrance of the camp, six wizards had appeared.

These wizards were all staring in shock at Wade and the tent blazing behind him.

Wade's pupils contracted because among these wizards, he recognized several familiar faces.

The Wizard Supremacists from the Alliance...

"Who are you? What did you do to these goblins?" one of the Alliance member questioned first.

While he was speaking, the others had already silently spread out and surrounded Wade.

Wade didn't answer his question but instead spoke in a disguised voice, "These goblins work for you?"

"So what if they do? You still haven't answered my question!" the Alliance member snapped impatiently.

Wade's tone turned icy. "Why is it that tonight, everyone keeps asking me such boring questions?"

"Enough talk! Catch him first, we can interrogate him properly later!" another Alliance member said, raising his wand.

At the same time, the other members also raised their wands.

"""Crucio!"""x6

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh...

In the blink of an eye, six Cruciatus Curses flew toward Wade simultaneously!

There was no doubt that if Wade were to take all six of these curses head-on, his fate would be absolutely miserable!

These curses sealed off all his paths of retreat!

It was almost inescapable!

But Wade now was no longer the same Wade from a month ago...

And besides, this was the Forbidden Forest! There was no Anti-Apparition Charm here!

Heh~

Crack!
