Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

Chapter 620: Chapter 620: The Quidditch World Cup Begins

With each passing day, Andy's life returned to normal after he made a study plan for the next academic year.

Reading a book every day, practising casting spells, and watching the red liquid in the system orb grow, Andy was quite satisfied with his life.

When he got tired of studying, he would go to the living room to play with Isabel and occasionally help Helen prepare some batches of potion to earn some living expenses for the family.

If it weren't for the upcoming Quidditch World Cup final, Andy would almost have forgotten about the outside world.

"Mum, please let me go!"

The night before the tournament, Isabel took Helen's hand and looked at her with a pitiful expression, saying, "Andy will take good care of me... Right, Andy?"

After she finished speaking, the little lass turned to Andy, hoping that he would help her put in a good word.

"I might not have much time..."

Isabel's little face instantly fell as soon as Andy started to speak. She glared at Andy, thinking that she needed to have a showdown with the annoying Andy later.

"But I've enchanted my pockets with a permanent undetectable extension charm, so if we encounter danger, Isabel can hide in there."

Andy said with a raised eyebrow. "There's still quite a lot of space in there."

Helen looked completely torn when she heard this.

Helen had no intention of going to the World Cup final. She wasn't interested in Quidditch in the first place, and it was obvious that something bad would happen at this tournament.

Kyle, on the other hand, had no choice.

He works in the Department of International Magical Co-operation, and right now his career is in a critical promotion period. Unless he doesn't want to advance his career in the future, he definitely has to go.

As for Andy...there's nothing to worry about.

After thinking for a while, Helen frowned and said, "Isa, I can let you go to the match. But you must promise me that you will never leave Andy's side by more than five metres, and you will absolutely listen to Andy."

Isabel looked at Andy and puffed up her cheeks.

Seeing this, Andy laughed and said, "Mum, Isa seems to be reluctant to agree to your terms!"

"Who told you that!"

Isabel exclaimed and hurriedly assured her, "It's just listening to Andy and not leaving his side! Mum, don't worry, I'll be good."

Helen: "..."

You don't look like someone who will listen.

"Andy, I'll leave Isa in your care," Helen said sternly.

"Understood!"

Andy saluted with a smile and said, "I'll go with Harry and the others this time. There will be plenty of people, so she'll be safe. I will also have my Patronus guard Isa, so don't worry!"

"If we run into danger, I'll just put Isa in my pocket."

There would indeed be some minor problems if Isa was brought along, but considering that the little missy hadn't been out to play for a long time, Andy really couldn't bear to leave her at home alone.

Children in the wizarding world are simply too lonely!

Hearing Andy's words, Helen nodded slightly, and her heart was slightly relieved.

With the Fat Cat Patronus protecting her, along with the pocket that can hold people made with the undetectable extension charm, plus the Portkey Andy always carries with him... With such a high level of protective measures in place, as long as Isabel behaves herself, the chances of her getting into trouble are indeed slim.

"Isabel Collins, I'll say this again. You must never leave Andy's side!"

Helen solemnly instructed, "If I find out you've left Andy for even a second, I'll cut off your allowance for ten years."

This is a death sentence!

The little lass shook her head almost fervently, vowing that she would never wander off.

"Mum..."

After a moment's thought, Isabel suddenly glanced at Andy and asked, weighing her words, "If Andy and Hermione do something embarrassing, can I still not leave?"

Helen: "..."

Andy snorted in response: "Of course not! No matter what we do, you have to watch!"

Helen: "..."

They're both such a handful!

"You two! Go back to bed!" Helen shouted.

The next morning, Andy picked up Hermione with Isabel, and they went to the agreed meeting place to meet Harry and the others.

The World Cup final was being held at the new stadium in Dartmoor, and to prevent anyone from using the Apparition to avoid paying for tickets, anyone wishing to go to the match had to use a special Portkey provided by the Ministry of Magic.

Andy and the others had their tickets provided by Sirius.

He had said it would be his treat.

"Hi!" Andy waved and casually said hello.

"Good morning, Andy. How have you been?"

Harry ran over with excitement, "Hello, Hermione. Um...who is this?"

Andy took Isabel's hand and introduced her, "This is my sister, Isabel. You can just call her Isa!"

"Hello, Isa!"

Harry smiled at Isabel, then looked at Andy disapprovingly. "Andy, you know, this tournament might not be peaceful. Will you be alright with Isa...?"

Andy shrugged and laughed lightly. "Voldemort is no longer my match."

During this time, Andy has mastered a lot of useful spells, including the spell that can neutralise Voldemort's name magic.

Now Andy can also call him by his name freely.

"Andy, it seems you have made great progress recently!" Sirius came over at this time.

"Mm-hm!" Andy shrugged and admitted it frankly.

Last time, when he fought Voldemort at the Ministry of Magic, Andy really was no match for him.

As long as Andy didn't get hit, Voldemort couldn't do anything to him, even if they fought in a spectacular way. But once Voldemort and Andy clashed head-on, Andy was completely helpless.

This is the difference in magical attack power.

After many transformations and soul-splitting, Voldemort's mastery of dark magic has indeed reached the limits of what a wizard can possibly attain.

Even Dumbledore has admitted this—Voldemort has taken dark magic to new heights.

But that was in the past!

Andy is certain that if Voldemort still chose to fight him, the battle would be reversed.

If it becomes a game of dodging and duelling, Voldemort might be able to hold his own against Andy thanks to his extensive combat experience.

But if it becomes a head-on battle...

Andy will be able to defeat him, and Voldemort will doubt his own life!

Thinking along these lines, Andy can't help but feel a little dejected.

A wizard's magical defence is close to zero, and although magic transfiguration provides Andy with a certain degree of magic resistance, that is only relative to ordinary magic spells such as the Stunning Spell.

When faced with a killing curse, Andy's magical defence is no different from zero.

He will die if he takes one hit!

With both sides being able to counter each other and casting speeds more or less the same, combat experience will become the only indicator of victory.

"Then I'll be waiting to see you defeat him!" Sirius patted Andy on the shoulder and beamed excitedly.

Andy spread his hands and said, "As long as he dares to come?"

"Okay, kids, come here!"

Not far away, Mr. Weasley and Lupin had already sorted out their Portkeys. "It's almost time; we have to go!"
