Hogwarts: The Unscientific Wizard (TL)

Chapter 611: Chapter 611: If you do this, how can we take risks?

"What preparations?" Harry looked at Andy blankly.

Since they had already located Voldemort's Horcrux, they should, of course, rush in immediately to find and destroy it!

Andy explained, "I destroyed one of the Dark Lord's Horcruxes before. There were no traps there, but the Horcrux was enchanted with powerful curse magic, and if you aren't careful, you will be affected."

"As for here...there is powerful protective magic here, which means there will be many traps."

"The Dark Lord would not let anyone find his Horcruxes so easily!"

Having said that, Andy turned to Dumbledore and asked, "Professor, have you explored inside?"

"Yes! I have made some preparations!" Dumbledore said.

"Kay!" Andy nodded and said no more.

Since Dumbledore was prepared, Andy just needed to quietly follow and gain experience.

A full-level boss leading the raid; what was there to worry about?

Soon, the three of them landed on the island together and then walked into the cave side by side.

With the faint light from the glowing orb of the Wand-Lighting Charm, Dumbledore led Andy and Harry to a stone wall and said, "This is the place!"

"Voldemort set up some petty tricks here to weaken the power of those entering."

Upon hearing this, Andy took out his wand and tapped it against the stone wall to do some probing.

After a moment, Andy silently withdrew his wand and said with a groan, "He must have split his soul too many times, which may have truly impaired his intelligence."

To open the door, you need some magical blood.

"Losing too much blood will indeed affect one's physical condition. But blood can be bought for a small price in Diagon Alley. Of course… it needs to be specially prepared."

Andy raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "No one would really cut themselves with a knife to bleed, would they?"

Just even thinking about it is enough to dull the mind.

"I spent three Galleons and twelve Sickles to get past this level... that's my weekly expenses, all gone," Dumbledore said with a look of pain.

Harry also took out his wand and tapped the stone wall, then asked curiously, "Andy, how did you do that?"

"I'll teach you when we get back," Andy casually replied.

During the casual conversation, Dumbledore took out a blood bag from his pocket, tore it open, and spilled the contents on the stone wall.

This was, of course, not just any blood.

Voldemort's goal in setting this level was to weaken the intruder. If the blood spilled on the stone wall did not match the intruder's magic, the stone wall would not open.

But alchemy and potions could solve this problem.

Boom boom—

A slight vibration sounded, and the stone wall slowly opened, revealing a dark passage.

"Let's go in!" Dumbledore said and took the lead into the passage.

Andy hurriedly followed.

The passage was not deep, and the three of them soon came across a small pool of water.

As Dumbledore threw the luminous orb into the centre of the pool, Andy saw a small platform about 20 square metres in the far centre of the pool, with something protruding from it.

Andy took out his wand and waved it casually, and then a stone instantly turned into a bird and flew towards the platform.

However, just as the bird was halfway there, it seemed to encounter some kind of irresistible force and fell into the water with a 'plop'.

"It can't fly."

Andy said. "It can't swim either."

Dumbledore nodded slightly and then reached out and grasped something in midair while explaining, "Voldemort wouldn't set an impassable barrier because he himself would have to check whether the Horcrux remains safe."

Andy rolled his eyes at this and said, "If I were to say, the best way to protect a Horcrux is to put it on a Muggle rocket and launch it into outer space along with it."

"In this way, the Horcrux will be completely safe."

Harry's eyes widened at this.

He had only one thought in his mind at the moment... Fortunately, Voldemort did not have a crazy idea like this; otherwise, he really wouldn't be able to kill him.

"Andy, don't let Voldemort hear this," Harry's face almost crumpled into a ball.

Dumbledore slowly said, "Voldemort won't pay any attention to Muggles."

As soon as he finished speaking, Dumbledore's hand seemed to grasp something, and as he pulled a little, Andy heard a crisp, rustling sound.

Soon, Dumbledore pulled a small boat out of the lake.

"It can seat three people!" Harry was instantly relieved to see this.

"No!"

Dumbledore rejected, "This boat is designed to calculate the weight of its passengers using magic. Only one of us, me or Collins, can get on."

"What about me!" Harry asked anxiously.

Dumbledore: "..."

In the darkness, Andy noticed that Dumbledore's face seemed to stiffen slightly for a moment.

You're the extra baggage, so you won't be counted in the weight!

But this is not a nice thing to say.

"I can take you with me, Harry!"

Dumbledore explained, "This boat will absorb the magic of its passengers. With my magic, I can take you there and bring you back. But if it carries too much magic, the boat will sink instantly."

It was clear that this part of the test was also intended to weaken the intruder.

But if the intruder was too powerful, the boat would instantly sink, taking the intruder with it.

"Blood, magic... The Dark Lord is weakening the intruder's power step by step. And this means... whatever is under this pool of water is not powerful!"

Andy quickly figured out the rationale behind this.

"He has set up so many traps here, which may appear crafty and insidious, but they have revealed the weakest link!"

Andy chuckled lightly and said indifferently, "Following the route set by your enemy is the stupidest thing to do!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Andy waved his wand fiercely, and the Fiendfyre Curse was cast in an instant. The raging fire burned fiercely on the surface of the pool and then surged towards the depths.

The blazing flames instantly illuminated the entire stone chamber.

What was under the pool?

Andy didn't know!

But there was no need to know.

Because after the Fiendfyre Curse burnt through the pool, there would be nothing left under it.

Harry's mouth fell open.

Dumbledore was also a little speechless.

Where's the adventure?

How will Harry gain experience if you do this?

But...

Dumbledore suddenly glanced at Harry.

He didn't really need Harry's help.

Back then, Voldemort was just a wandering soul; his power had been weakened to the extreme. At that time, destroying Voldemort's Horcruxes would not have caused him to feel anything.

But now it is different!

Voldemort had regained his strength.

Destroying Voldemort's Horcruxes now would be instantly felt by Voldemort.

Andy is a bit of a help.

As for Harry... although Harry is also Voldemort's Horcrux, this Horcrux does not have the protection of the Horcrux magic.

If Voldemort's mind grows chaotic, Harry might be able to take a peek at some of Voldemort's memories.

For example... the location of the other Horcruxes!
