Hogwarts: Double Comparison Of Harry Potter, The Witches Are Jealous!

Chapter 17: Heaven Defying Rewards

Shock

The magical world plunged into a deep state of shock; no one could believe what they were seeing.

At first, everyone believed that no matter what happened, Harry Black would never be able to obtain a wand with the same power as the Elder Wand.

Why? Didn't you see that Not even Olivander himself knew he had such a treasure right under his nose and chose option C, a wand with a Thunderbird Feather core?

But now, why does it seem like the correct option is D? Before anyone could react, the golden curtain of light announced:

[The correct answer to this question is option D. A thousand wands salute a king; Harry will obtain a wand at the same level as the Elder Wand.]

[The three winners of this round are: Lily Potter, Nicolas Flamel, and Astoria Greengrass.]

[Congratulations to Lily Potter for winning the opportunity for reincarnation.]

[Congratulations to Nicolas Flamel for winning a potion of eternal rejuvenation.]

[Congratulations to Astoria Greengrass for winning the chance to eliminate the blood curse.]

...!!!

Damn!!! How is this possible?! Each reward is more absurd than the last! Is this really true or just a hoax?!

Everyone had a way to confirm it, and they immediately focused their attention on the chat channel.

Gellert Grindelwald: "Reincarnation?! Although this has already been mentioned among the rewards, I still don't believe it. Do you really think the god of death is a soft persimmon, whose souls can be stolen at will?"

James Potter: "Darling! Did you really get a chance to reincarnate? How are you feeling now?"

Harry Potter: "Mom, do you know where you'll appear? Try to appear in the Great Hall of Hogwarts."

Molly Weasley: "Yes, Lily, with Headmaster Dumbledore around, when the magic returns, surely there will be no problems."

Severus Snape: "Yes… Hogwarts is the safest place for you right now. No one knows when Voldemort's loyal wizards might resurface to cause trouble..."

For some reason, upon seeing Snape's message, everyone couldn't help but feel a strange sentiment.

There was nothing wrong with what he said, but why does it seem so odd when these words come from his mouth?

Especially for those loyal to Voldemort, upon seeing Snape's message, they could barely resist the urge to spit blood.

Be careful of Voldemort's henchmen? Weren't you his right-hand man and enforcer back then?!

But, no matter how turbulent the outside world was, in the realm of souls, everything remained in a state of eternal solitude.

Lily, in her ethereal form, stared intently at the curtain of light, with a stunned expression. A message, visible only to her, was written:

[Congratulations on obtaining a chance for reincarnation. Now, choose the location of your reincarnation.]

Lily was shocked for a moment but quickly decided that she should reincarnate near her son. On a whim, she observed the conversations in the chat group and already had an answer in mind.

"I wish to reincarnate in the Great Hall of Hogwarts!"

As soon as Lily finished speaking, the golden curtain of light erupted with an intense glow, enveloping her soul.

She felt a strong pull from the curtain, and the next second, the light disappeared, taking her soul from the realm of souls, as if it had never been there.

In the Great Hall of Hogwarts, Harry anxiously awaited his mother's reply when a bright light suddenly appeared next to him.

It was so strong that everyone in the hall couldn't help but close their eyes.

When the light dissipated, they all saw, in its place, a beautiful woman, appearing no older than 20, with long dark red hair and the same green eyes as Harry.

Before anyone could react, Harry was the first to shout and run excitedly toward the woman, tears streaming down his face like pearls.

"Mom! You're really here!"

Lily was stunned by the sudden call, but quickly recovered.

She looked at Harry, her face immediately turned red, and she opened her arms to embrace him, fearing that this feeling wasn't real.

Snape, sitting at the teachers' table, already had his hands clenched and his face pale. He couldn't believe that Lily would actually appear before his eyes after all these years.

Thinking about how decayed he had become over the years and the fact that he barely had time to comb his hair, he wished to punch his past self a hundred times.

Of course, only Snape had these thoughts. Everyone else remained in shock upon seeing a person who should have been dead appear in front of them, not as a ghost but in flesh and blood.

Professor McGonagall immediately approached, concern written on her face.

She was worried about any aftereffects of Lily's reincarnation. As one of Gryffindor's most outstanding students, McGonagall's affection for Lily was deep.

"Lily, are you feeling any discomfort anywhere? Do you need Madam Pomfrey to examine you?"

"Thank you, Professor McGonagall, but I'm fine. I'll just greet the professors and some old friends."

With that, Lily went to greet Headmaster Dumbledore, Hagrid, and the other heads of houses. When she saw Snape, she couldn't help but be surprised.

What happened to the handsome, noble boy she remembered? Why did he look like an old bat?

While Lily greeted her former professors, it was already being announced that Lily Potter was alive and well in the Great Hall of Hogwarts.

Everyone finally removed their doubts about the Comparison Room.

After all, even a person had been resurrected. What else couldn't happen?

However, another topic of conversation began, this time centered on the other two rewards.

Lucius Malfoy: "If I'm not mistaken, there are still two rewards left. How about revealing yours, Mr. Flamel?"

Gellert Grindelwald: "Yes, old man, don't be so stingy and share your reward."

While everyone anxiously awaited to learn what kind of reward Nicolas Flamel had received.

In the oldest house in the French capital, on Montmorency Street in Paris, Nicolas Flamel, whose body could only be described as in tatters, stood surrounded by alchemical inventions, staring in shock at the vial in his hand.

[Congratulations on obtaining a potion of eternal rejuvenation. Effect of the potion of eternal rejuvenation: modify the physical body's age to its prime and make it eternal. Invalid for the soul.]

He didn't need to think twice before deciding to drink the potion, which would surely help improve his decayed body.

He quickly opened the vial and took a sip. An extremely painful process occurred. His body, long aged, began to rejuvenate gradually.

His veins became visible on his wrists, pumping blood with vigor. His previously wrinkled skin began to smooth out, and his withered muscles started to grow like a hot air balloon, while a foul-smelling black liquid was expelled from his body.

In just two minutes, Nicolas Flamel, now appearing no older than 30, stood up as layers of old skin slowly fell from his body.

He looked at the chat channel, which awaited his response, and simply typed with a strange smile:

Nicolas Flamel: "Actually, it's nothing much. Just a potion that keeps my physical body at its peak forever. Of course, If your soul wears out, that's all… How fortunate that my soul is tied to my body."

Wizards and muggles: "...!!!"

Damn, you old 600-year-old bastard! Do you really still have the nerve to be so Versailles?! Do you really think we can't find you through the network cable and beat you to death?!!

But when everyone calmed down, they were horrified to realize how terrifying Nicolas Flamel's reward was.

Everyone knew that the Philosopher's Stone created by the great alchemist had been a success and that he had truly achieved immortality.

However, they also knew that this immortality was merely a prison for his soul in his flesh, and his body continued to age, now reduced to little more than a sack of bones.

It could be said that every minute of his life was marked by tremendous pain.

Now, though, the Comparison Room had actually rewarded Nicolas with a potion that restored his body to its prime and would keep it eternal.

With his soul tied to a young body, how is this any different from true immortality?

Everyone immediately became euphoric at the thought that if more questions arose, perhaps other forms of immortality could be obtained.
