Chapter 2: Beginning
(Time Skip: 4 Years Later)
(18:00)
In the elementary school backyard, groups of children could be seen playing energetically. Among them was a boy standing at the center of the largest group, radiating both innocence and charm. His large, almond-shaped eyes sparkled with curiosity, framed by thick lashes that cast shadows on his rosy cheeks. His skin had a soft, golden hue, smooth and glowing with youthful vitality. His raven-black hair flowed like silk, slightly messy but endearing. A bright, genuine smile lit up his face. He wore a simple striped t-shirt and denim shorts, his small frame full of energy and excitement. His confident, playful posture gave off a natural charm and a hint of mischief.
"Yuto-kun, How are you so fast?" One of the boys, Daiki, whined, puffing his cheeks in playful protest. He crossed his arms and glared at the boy in the center.
Yuto laughed, his eyes crinkling with amusement. "It's not that I've gotten faster; it's that you've gotten slower, Daiki!" he replied, his voice light and teasing. He ran a hand through his raven-black hair, which shimmered under the soft glow of the evening sun. The children around him giggled and nudged each other, clearly enjoying the banter.
'You should get a handicap to even the odds!' A girl named Aiko chimed in, her pigtails bouncing as she stepped forward. "Next time, we should make Yuto-kun start five steps behind!"
'Why would I give myself a handicap?' the boy said with a slight smug smile.
Because you are the fastest, and it won't be fun if we already know who will win!' Aiko said with pouted cheeks.
Yuto grinned, tilting his head in mock surrender. "Okay, okay, five steps behind. But how about a little bet? The loser will have to buy the winner an ice cream."
"Deal!" Daiki chorused, and the group burst into laughter. A chorus of excited voices filled the air as they jostled each other, eager to start the next game.
"You're too confident, Yuto! Get ready to lose," Daiki called out, already backing up to prepare for the next round.
Yuto's smile remained unchanged as he glanced at his friend, enjoying the lively atmosphere.
[Notification: Aiko admires you for being the fastest in their grade +0.1]
[Notification: Hiroki slightly envies your physical fitness +0.1]
"Status," Yuto mutters under his breath.

(Yuto PoV)
In these four years, I earned about 1128 points. In the first year or so, I earned about 18 points. I know it's pitifully low, but come on—I couldn't speak, and I couldn't understand most words. I was practically deaf and mute. Only by the end of the year did I start earning points.
In the second year, I earned 67 points. Yeah, it's still small, but at that time, I had just joined the school and hadn't yet made any impression or built a reputation. I was starting and getting the hang of it, so the points were low.
Only in the third year did I seriously start earning points—about 0.5 to 0.7 points daily. At that time, I started participating in small talent shows and showing off a bit. Because of this, I earned 373 points. But damn showing off in school festivals, talent shows, etc. earns me 20 to 30 points every time.
When the fourth year began, things snowballed, and earning points became even easier. I earned 670 points. I just continued my previous strategy while touring the school.
If I keep this up, soon I'll be leveling up every month.
As you can see, I'm level 6, which brought my talent to 2.22. While it says "talent," it upgrades everything about me, like my looks, potential, and more. As I am now, I'm 2.22 times more talented, handsome, and everything else than the average child.
From this example, you probably understood how I get Perfection Points, but if you didn't understand, here's a quick explanation: I earn Perfection Points whenever people see me as a perfect or ideal person they aspire to be or to be with.
It could be money, looks, talent, or personality; whenever someone genuinely believes I'm more perfect than them, I get points. I can use these points to upgrade my level or skill levels.
According to the system, skill ranks work like this:
Skill Ranks:
Weak Mortal: Basic (1 → 5)
Strong Mortal: Basic (6 → 10)
Low Class: Advanced (1 → 10)
Mid Class: Advanced (11 → 20)
High Class: Master (1 → 15)
Ultimate Class: Master (16 → 30)
Satan Class: Grandmaster (1 → 20)
Super Devil: Grandmaster (21 → 40)
Being of Law:???? (e.g., Ophis, Great Red, etc.)
This isn't absolute. For example, someone could be high-class yet possess an upper-tier Master skill.
But the skill and class will never be too far apart; a weak mortal cannot possess the skills of a mid-class being. (Bloodline, weapons, armor, and other things are not included in this list.)
The points provided by others are directly related to their strengths:
Perfection points each class provides go like this.
Mortal: 0.1 → 0.5
Low Class: 1 → 5
Mid Class: 10 → 20
High Class: 25→ 40
Ultimate Class: 50→ 75
Satan Class: 100 → 200
Super Devil: 500 → 1000
Being of Law: 2500+ (e.g., Ophis, Great Red, etc.)
"The strength of emotion they have towards me and the rank of that being affect how much I get."
(Third person POV)
"Yuto, my dear, it's time; let's go home," Yuto's mom, Yuki, calls out from a nearby bench, where she had been watching him play.
"Alright, Mom!" Yuto replied as he stood up.
He turns towards his friends and says, "I gotta go, guys. See you guys later!" Yuto says while flashing his radiant smile towards them.
"Bye, Yuto-kun!" Akihiko called out.
"Bye Huto," Aimi adds from a nearby slide where she had been sitting after getting exhausted from playing.
"Bye, Yuto!" echoed the others.
As Yuto sat in the passenger seat beside his mother, who is driving, they were riding a Prius 20 with a blue color with an aqua shade. While he was looking out the window, he reflected on all the information he had gathered over the past four years.
First up, he lives in the city of Hoshinaka, about 200 km away from Kuoh City. It is a decent-sized city with a population of around 3 million. The city he lives in is mostly peaceful, with little to no news of crime, death, or kidnapping. Though he wonders if such things are covered up to avoid panic. He lives with only his mother, who, surprisingly, spends a lot of time with him. Given that he has no father and she has to work to support them, he expected her to have less time for him.
While it's a pity he can't train as freely as he wants, it's also a pleasant surprise to relive his childhood again.
On a side note, his father had disappeared suddenly when he was barely a year old, leaving his wife and child to fend for themselves. If you're alive, Father, you'd better have a good excuse—if not, you will pay dearly, he thought, as Yuto's eyes narrowed slightly.
(Yuto POV)
You might wonder why I'm still in elementary school, even though I've reincarnated and should be capable of breezing through the grades. The reason? I don't want to attract that much attention; it's fine to skip a few grades, but more than that, I will most probably be in trouble, which at the moment, I most like don't want to. The other reason is that children give perfect points much more easily than adults, even though they give lesser points. but I have enough quantity to outweigh quality.
Recently, my training has become easier; I should increase my training and join a dojo. I'm tired of watching videos online and mimicking them.
(Third person POV)
"What are you thinking so intensely, Yuto?" Yuki asks after noticing he had zoned out and didn't notice that they already arrived home.
"Just thinking if I should learn some self-defense," Yuto said as he turned to face her.
POV: Aiko (a friend of Yuto) (made the POV a bit childish because she's a child)
"Why couldn't I just say it?" She wondered as she watched Yuto walk away, heading home. She had wanted to invite him over, but the words just wouldn't come out.
It's been three years since she first met him, and in all that time, one thing has become clear: Yuto is the best. You might ask, What makes him best? Let me explain. He's always kind and never loses his cool, even when things don't go as planned. And he's the best at everything he does. Whether it's playing games, solving puzzles, or drawing, he seems to excel at everything. His smile lights up the whole classroom, and he has this magical way of making everyone smile or laugh. When he helps her with homework or plays alongside her, it feels like there's nothing he can't do. He's smart, but he never makes her feel like she's falling behind. He's an incredible friend—someone who listens, cares, and always makes things fun. Just being around, him makes everything better.
She remembers that it was about five months ago that she became certain he was the best. After school that day, she saw a sixth grader pressuring some of their classmates to give him their pocket money. He didn't say "give," exactly. He said "lend"—but she knew he had no intention of paying it back.
The next day, when she told Yuto about it while packing their bag, he just gave her that bright, reassuring smile and softly said, "Don't worry. I'll handle it" before calmly heading out of the classroom.
Tomorrow, when lunchtime was finishing, she saw him entering the classroom with the same sixth grader, who is red-eyed and sniffling, apologizing to those kids and promising to return the money. Yuto was just smiling nearby while this was happening.
