High School DxD: Lustful Ascension

Chapter 36: Chapter 37: Tiny

In the Occult Research Club, Rias sat at a chair with a chessboard in front of her. Even though there was no one across from her, the board displayed a fierce endgame.

"President, Uesugi hasn't expressed any intention yet," Himejima Akeno stood by her side, curious, "Do you still plan to continue investing?"

"Akeno, it's not Uesugi, it's Little Aki." Rias maintained her smile, picking up a white Rook piece, "I've done all I can; in the end, it still depends on him."

"Do you really have such high hopes for him, President?"

Rias responded to Himejima Akeno's question with a silent smile.

Himejima Akeno liked Qingqiu quite a lot, but it was more of a fleeting interest. Purely because Qingqiu's appearance and aura hit her preferences.

Rias, on the other hand, grew fonder of Qingqiu the more time they spent together. Part of it was due to her naturally rich emotions, but mainly because she saw that Qingqiu was also someone who valued emotions deeply.

Regardless of potential, if she made him a servant, Qingqiu wouldn't betray her trust.

"Checkmate."

Placing the piece on the board, Rias ended the game in front of her. She stood up, slowly undressing, starting with her uniform and then her underwear.

"Akeno, regardless of Little Aki's potential or whether his special constitution is real," Rias said as she walked naked toward the shower, "Based on Koneko's reports these past days, his combat awareness and perseverance are top-notch at the very least."

Himejima Akeno tilted her head, unfazed by Rias's proud, fair body.

Nothing special to see; she herself was no less impressive than Rias.

"But what if Little Aki ultimately chooses Sona?"

Rias turned on the shower, warm water flowing through her smooth red hair, cascading down.

It traveled down her long, white neck to her perky chest, then along the deep valley, down her flat, smooth abdomen, reaching the sacred red triangle.

The closed gate remained shut, the clear water only able to flow down her long, straight legs.

Finally, it lingered momentarily on her jade-like feet before leaving reluctantly.

"He won't. Little Aki... his heart might be larger than we think."

Enveloped in a misty white haze, Rias closed her eyes, chuckling softly, "Sona can't satisfy him. He keeps hesitating because he's afraid the servant status will limit his development."

Rias's insight into people was remarkably accurate, and her intuition even more so.

...

"Good afternoon, Akeno-senpai."

Qingqiu glanced around, puzzled, "Huh? The President isn't here today?"

The Occult Research Club was practically Rias's home. Aside from classes, Qingqiu could almost always find her there.

"The President is in the shower," Himejima Akeno said, picking up clothes from the floor. "But you, why are you back so early today?"

"Ah, could it be that you know the President showers at this time every day and wanted to create an accidental encounter?"

Himejima Akeno emphasized the words "accidental encounter," covering her mouth with a look of exaggerated surprise.

Such teasing had no effect on Qingqiu.

He focused his gaze on the black fabric in Himejima Akeno's hands, "Hmm... does the President need custom sizing for this?"

Himejima Akeno cupped her chest, causing her ample bosom to jiggle, "No need, this size is quite normal."

Koneko Toujou: "..."

Touching her own chest, which could only be described as non-existent, she quietly retreated to a corner, feeling dejected.

Himejima Akeno's face stiffened, realizing she had inadvertently attacked a teammate.

"Koneko, it's okay. You're only sixteen, younger than both the President and me. There's plenty of room to grow."

Qingqiu nodded in agreement, "Right, right, and being small is cute too."

Busty lolis are appealing, but holding a petite and soft cutie in your arms is also delightful.

Koneko Toujou: "Small... small..."

The white-haired loli repeatedly muttered those words, her resentment deepening.

Himejima Akeno glared at Qingqiu, indicating that he should resolve the situation he created.

Qingqiu shrugged, as if to say, "Is it my fault?"

He would have liked to offer her a massage to promote development, but his lack of strength meant he risked being sent flying.

"Why are you and Koneko back so early today?" Himejima Akeno shifted the topic again.

"Let me tell you, Koneko can't handle it. She cheats..."

Talking about it, Qingqiu got into it, whining pitifully.

After being beaten for so many days, he had finally seen some hope, a chance to...

Cough, a chance to get back at her, but Koneko flipped the table and declared she wasn't playing.

Frustrating, isn't it?

After listening to Qingqiu's complaints, Himejima Akeno was surprised.

Shinra Tsubaki had only mentioned Qingqiu's magical talent, not his natural combat prowess.

She looked curiously at the white-haired loli, "Koneko, you can't beat Little Aki anymore?"

Qingqiu scratched his face. After being called that so many times, he no longer felt strange about the nickname.

On second thought, he and Koneko Toujou were both first-years, both sixteen, so they were both juniors...

Makes sense.

Reluctantly, Koneko Toujou turned around, glaring at Himejima Akeno's chest in annoyance.

"Yes, Little Aki has great talent. With the same physical condition, he can already hold his own against me."

Qingqiu pouted; if you hadn't cheated, I would have won today.

Though called combat training, Koneko Toujou definitely wouldn't go all out.

With her overwhelming strength, she could easily avoid killing him while delivering a thorough beating.

The training's effectiveness was undeniable.

Himejima Akeno was genuinely surprised this time. "It's only been a week, hasn't it?"

Qingqiu stood with his hands on his hips, looking proud. The rapid improvement in his combat skills was largely thanks to his talent in basic physical mastery. Essentially, any move Koneko Toujou used, Qingqiu could replicate. If it was complex, he just needed a few more hits to figure it out.

Of course, Qingqiu's own strong combat instincts played a crucial role. He could easily seize fleeting opportunities and knew how to respond to attacks almost instinctively.

While Tetsuya Hakata, as a hybrid youkai, had far more combat experience than Qingqiu, he had been at a disadvantage in their one-on-one fight. Besides the Mirror Reflection talent, Qingqiu just got stronger the more he fought.

Seeing Qingqiu's smug expression, Himejima Akeno couldn't help but chuckle. He was quite endearing.

"Akeno-senpai, Koneko doesn't have much left to teach me. Isn't it time for a new teacher?"

After being knocked down by Koneko Toujou's strength, Qingqiu considered suggesting to Rias that he start learning magic. Ideally, Rias herself would teach him, hand-in-hand.
