Chapter 113: Chapter 21: Surrender Your Rozaliya
"This sword once belonged to the great Rozaliya. How can I accept it?" Cellinia looked at the demonic-looking blade before her with a mix of joy and hesitation, ultimately declining to take it.
"Go ahead, it's yours! I no longer need it at all." The blade was merely a temporary weapon initially chosen due to the lack of alternatives when starting to play. Now, with more options available and better weapons, even Muramasa didn't require it.
"Well, then, I humbly accept this gift." Cellinia knelt on one knee and raised her hands, respectfully receiving the Muramasa.
"This blade is called Muramasa. Many who have wielded it have perished under its influence, earning it the reputation of being 'unlucky' and 'malevolent.' Only the pure passion of youth can suppress its curse! I hope you can control it."
Rozaliya placed the demon blade Muramasa into Cellinia's hands, briefly introducing its history.
"A demon blade, huh... Rest assured, Lady Rozaliya, I will do my utmost to control it." Cellinia, with an expression of profound earnestness, grasped the Muramasa.
"Hmm, this katana comes with a built-in weapon skill that allows you to fire a spiritual form of the blade. Take some time to get accustomed to it."
"Yes, Lady Rozaliya, I assure you I won't squander the trust you've placed in me." Cellinia stood up, the katana in her hands.
"Good. Let's prepare and then head for the Demons' Territory."
Rozaliya, noticing the envious gazes from the other three, chose not to provide them with weapons as well. If I give them powerful weapons right away, they won't truly appreciate them. As for giving Muramasa to Cellinia, it was because she was her first follower, and at that moment, she had no weapon. For now, I'll give her a three-star weapon. If she performs well, I won't hesitate to provide four- or five-star weapons in the future.
As for the other three followers, they already had their own equipment. After some time, if they perform admirably, I'll consider giving them better weapons and Stigmata.
After leaving the dragon carriage in a nearby demi-human village near the border, Rosa and her six companions fully entered the domain of monsters.
They found themselves in a dense forest, with their destination lying just beyond its edge.
-
"How strange... Weren't we told there would be a lot of demonic beasts here? How come we haven't seen even one after walking for so long?"
The six of them were moving through the forest. Skyfire and Liliya walked at the back, Rozaliya and Platinum in the middle, and Cellinia and Savage led the way up front.
They had been walking for a while and hadn't seen a single demonic beast.
"You're right. I remember there being a bunch of goblins around here, but we haven't seen— Whoa!" Before Cellinia could finish, the ground beneath them suddenly gave way.
All six of them tumbled into a huge pit.
"It's a trap, a very well-hidden trap. But at least there aren't any other mechanisms inside..." Platinum looked around. The pit was several meters wide and more than three meters deep.
"Something's approaching..."
Liliya instinctively grabbed her tail and stood in front of Rozaliya with the great sword in her hand.
Theoretically, Liliya could defend against any frontal assault completely.
Rozaliya quickly positioned herself behind Liliya, back-to-back. Her beautiful, large sword, Sleeping Beauty, materialized in her hands.
They hadn't even seen the enemy yet, but a flurry of bamboo spears came flying at them.
"Everyone, be careful! Rozaliya, watch out," Liliya said, tail up with the great sword balanced ready for defense. "I got you."
"I'm on it. Everyone else, look out," Rozaliya replied, arms drawn back with Sleeping Beauty.
If it were just Rozaliya and Liliya, they could handle any situation together. But now, with four followers in tow, the twins felt somewhat hamstrung.
As long as the attackers weren't too strong, though, they should be okay.
Just as the bamboo spear closed in on Liliya, her body flashed through the air, returning to her original position in a blink. It was so fast that it seemed like Liliya's previous movements had been an illusion—she had barely moved at all. Then, all the bamboo spears in front of her disappeared as if by magic.
"CHOP! CHOP!"
Behind Liliya, Rozaliya swung her two-handed great sword, sending a massive pink blade of energy arcing through the air that instantly annihilated the bamboo spears.
In the next instant, the Twin Lolis vanished from view, using a spatial jump to escape the giant crater they'd left behind.
Ascending out of the pit, they found themselves surrounded by countless green-skinned monsters—those familiar yet repulsive goblins holding various weapons like swords, spears, and clubs. The twins estimated there were at least several hundred of them encircling the crater.
Goblins!
Unlike the ugly-cute goblins by the side of the King of Cuteness(Rimuru), these goblins were hideous and evil, devious in nature.
Behind these close-quarters warriors, there were even more goblins wielding bows and bamboo spears. They seemed remarkably coordinated, not like your average horde of goblins.
The moment Liliya and Rozaliya appeared, the bamboo spears and arrows in the hands of the goblin archers and javelin throwers were instantly loosed towards the twins.
"Hey! Lem... no, I mean, Lemme go, Rozy-lemme-go!"
In the split second before the arrows and bamboo spears arrived, Liliya grabbed her sister with both hands, lifting her effortlessly by her tail, along with her own spiny arms, and hurled Rozaliya high into the air.
Rozaliya, the cute pink-haired young girl, was directly thrown at the position of the goblin archers.
In an instant, the adorable pink-haired young girl transformed into a rocket-like projectile, head first... barreling towards the goblins.
"Kekekekeke..."
As they watched Rozaliya hurtling towards them, thrown by her own companion, all the goblins instantly grew excited. Such a cute little girl would undoubtedly yield countless baby goblins if taken back to their lair.
Seeing Rozaliya plummeting down, these goblins immediately put aside their weapons, eager to catch her.
"Super Headbutt!"
Just as the goblins were about to catch Rozaliya, they realized she was falling at a terrifying speed.
Then, with a deafening "Boom!"
The ground trembled, and Rozaliya left behind a crater several meters wide.
This isn't just a girl—this is a freaking missile! the surrounding goblins thought, utterly stunned.
In the giant pit, Rosaliya hastily rose to her feet, shook her head, and glanced at the surrounding goblins. She gripped her great sword tightly with both hands.
"Typhoon!"
Rosaliya transformed into a super gyroscope, whirring as if powered by a motor, and swiftly began mowing down the surrounding goblins.
-
Meanwhile, after tossing Rosaliya aside, Liliya crouched briefly to gather herself before leaping high into the sky. From her aerial perch, she spotted what appeared to be a caster goblin wielding a staff and seemingly directing the others. Liliya locked onto her target and swiftly descended, great sword at the ready.
Before the caster goblin could react, Liliya's great sword smashed down, ending its life instantly.
With their commander dead, the surrounding goblins lost their coordination, devolving into chaos.
