Chapter 81: The Greatest High
"Mmmhmm! What a Truly magnificent feeling! It's so good I could almost break out into song again!" I said with a toothy grin across my face while I looked down on all those that have looked down upon me all these years.
*Stab!* "Ten Thousand Years ago your god put those chains around my body leaving me to watch as your exorcists killed all they wanted, but I didn't feel as wonderful then as I do now!" My eyes widening as I dug my finger right into my brain.
"This feeling! THIS IS THE GREATEST HIGH IVE EVER FELT BEFORE! HAHAHAHA! THE LIBERATION! THE FREEDOM! NOW NOTHING CAN HOLD ME BACK!" I shouted out as I let out the full brunt of my power causing those of lesser power to shudder in fear of the malevolent energy wafting off my body.
I pull out my finger as my head rapidly heals while I look at them all, "Well then I am so glad I could finally put that bit of business to rest, now nothings holding me back from what I want to do, then again it all depends upon how my cute little daughter handles things." I hold myself tightly while thinking of my sweet Charlie.
"What…. Do you mean by that….?" Emily, recovering from the panic attack she began to feel from that wave of pure unadulterated hatred she felt seeping off of his body that was making the emotion itself take a physical form.
Hearing this I spun my head a full 180 degrees to see who said that, "Oh! If it isn't heavens little happy angel!" I say putting my body back into its proper position with me turning to look at her with a bright smile on my face before I approached the barrier as I crouched down to look at her.
"Oh you know simple things you would do to anyone who had planned to have your family brutally murder to make a point, having them unfairly sent to hell for no reason….." I say as I can visibly see her shaking in fear before a certain bird floated down and stood between her and me.
"Ahh…. Hello Sera…. I haven't asked you how have you been all these years…. Or what the real color of your blood is…. Because I can tell…. It's not gold…." The pressure was suffocating for the entire room, the amount of Malice and hatred that was surrounding him with the air being filled with the scent of blood from the immense bloodlust they felt.
Feeling this Micheal, Gabriel and Uriel quickly stood in front of her doing there best to protect her.
"I see you have nothing to say to me, but I shall answer the little girls question as she is one of the only Angels here I don't hate with only Able being the other one here that I shall never harm, so you want to know what I meant? Well it's quite simple after this when you send your angels down to do their extermination, everyone of them will die in agony." I say before turning into a black mist and appearing in front of my 'father'
"And your girlfriend here? I'm going to make you watch as I rip her limb from limb before taking her skull and making it my personal trophy…. Just like you did to my wife and your daughter…." I said and while Lute seemed undeterred and fearless, that was a false face she was wearing as I could smell the fear off of her.
"You think that we are going to go through with this stupid fucking extermination with you on the loose once more." Adam wasn't that stupid, he could put two and two together to realize that those were the chains that were stopping me from interfering with any and all exterminations unless I was attacked first.
"Ohohoho…. Yes you are and you wanna know why? Because if you don't I will bring the full force of hell down on heaven personally and burn this realm to the ground, something many of hells citizens, both sinner and hellborn alike, would love to see happen." I say taunting him while putting fear into the other Seraphim that were still here.
"So if you don't want to see heaven burn then you and your bitches will go to hell and no one will be able to leave until the extermination time is up or I say otherwise, and it will only be and you and them, if I see those three pricks down there then I will begin my march no matter what my daughter desires, so if you want to keep heaven safe like the good little dog you are then cause you don't have a choice." I said as I enjoyed the fear in his eyes, I could see that he was facing death and that he can't run away like a bitch like he always did.
"But if my sweet daughter is so forgiving and believes in this dream of hers whole heartedly I will believe in her dream and I promise to all the realms that I shall not march on Heaven! I won't go here with my legions of sinners and hellborn alike who want to destroy heaven for everything the have done to hell all these years and never will I bring them of my own power to destroy this place, that is…." I said before becoming a black mist as I reappeared before the three stooges and the bitch bird herself.
"With small, tiny, Itsy-bitsy, teeny weenie, caveat to that claim, one day, whenever I feel like it, I will return to heaven for you my dear Sera, all to set the status quo right." I say with them standing guard in front of them.
"To Kill Sera? You must be joking if we would let you do that!" Micheal said as his brothers nodded.
"HuhuhuhuhuHAHAHAHAHAHA! Killing her? No, no, something far worse than that…." I say as I feel the seal weakening, signaling that it was time for me to go.
So I stepped back slowly with a broad smile on my face, and in her eyes my form began to overlap with another who asked her this question once millennia ago.
"Tell me Sera, what is the color of your blood?" Is all she heard him say before a black sludge covers the floor and pulls him in while the summoning circle vanished entirely leaving Sera lost in thought as she issued a gag order on what happened here with everyone before they left.
Sera and her sister returned home, but the relationship between them both were now strained after everything they had heard on this day and the truth that Heaven and Hell isn't as Black and White as she once thought.
Sera silently was taking a shower to calm her mind as she thought on his words and the words she had heard from the only meeting she ever had with her father.
"Tell me Child, do you know why Angel blood has a golden hue?"
"No Father I do not."
"It means we are pure and that we have never sinned like the mortals down below."
"Of course Father."
".... My child, after all this time, what is the color of your blood?
She could hear the conversation clearly as if it was only yesterday even though millions of years have passed the look on his face still haunts her to this day.
He didn't look like a father who was proud with everything his child had done, but his eyes spoke of both sadness and disappointment as he looked at her.
She always believed what she was doing was right and all for the sake of Heaven and humanity, after all He was the One that was to die for the sins of Humanity…. But how she went about it was all wrong and it was her own mettling that has made things worse and worse making him more and more of a monster that could destroy everything her father worked to create.
"Tell me Sera, What is the color of your blood?" She could hear both of their voices overlapping in her mind as she stepped out of the shower to look at herself in the mirror.
Her eyes were full and sullen as her nose began to bleed.
'I know what the color of my blood is….' She thought as tears streamed down her eyes at what she saw.
Because her blood….
…
..
.
Was red
