The kill notification revealed that Hattori's bombardment significantly reduced the attacking Mist Ninjas' numbers by nearly a hundred, even taking out a few high-level ninjas above level 40.

These high-level ninjas brought Hattori enough experience points to level up three times, boosting his stats once again.

Anyone familiar with the world of *Naruto* knows that summoning jutsu is a type of space-time ninjutsu and comes in two forms: blood contracts and non-blood contracts.

A blood contract requires signing a blood pact with the summoning beast, enabling the summoner to call upon them during battle.

Non-blood contracts, on the other hand, cover a wide range. 

For instance, sealing scrolls, whether used for ninja tools or puppets, fall under non-blood summoning jutsu.

Other rare types of summoning ninjutsu exist as well. 

For example, the First Hokage's Five-Layer Rashomon, Orochimaru's simplified Triple Rashomon, and the Impure World Reincarnation technique also belong to non-blood summoning techniques.

And all of these are within the range of the Contract Seal!

This means that any ninja reliant on summoning jutsu is at a disadvantage when facing Hattori.

This especially holds true for Orochimaru! 

Since the reanimated ninjas summoned through Impure World Reincarnation hold no goodwill toward him, he must use talismans to control them. Otherwise, they wouldn't obey his orders.

And the talisman's essence is essentially a summoning contract. If this contract is interrupted, Orochimaru would lose all control over the reanimated ninja.

At that point, Hattori wouldn't even have to fight him—the reanimated ninja would pummel him to death!

Contract Seal is practically the nemesis of Impure World Reincarnation!

Currently, his biggest lifeline on the battlefield was summoning the Giant Slug.

Without that trump card, his safety would be in serious jeopardy.

"If it ever comes to that, I'd either have to run or see if my Ultimate Dodge can avoid Minato's Flying Raijin!"

The thought made Hattori feel a strange surge of excitement. 

But he quickly realized the flaw in his mindset, snapping himself out of it with a few slaps to his face.

"Stay calm, avoid risks, and don't cause trouble. If the sky falls, let taller people handle it! Why should I put my life on the line? Is the food in Sunagakure bad, or is Pakura's bed not warm?"

Thinking this way, his mood quickly returned to normal, and he broke into a smile. 

"I'll stick to leveling up on easy kills. Let's take down these Mist Ninjas, go back to the village with Pakura, and… hehehe…"

With renewed resolve, Hattori commanded his giant-winged dragonfly to dive twice, using his blade attack and explosive tags to wipe out another dozen Mist Ninjas.

Pakura was equally efficient, launching scorch-style fireballs that quickly took out dozens of Mist Ninjas within ten minutes.

Seeing this, even Hattori had to admit that without his explosive puppets, his "mowing-down" ability didn't match Pakura's.

He now understood why, in the original story, the Mist Village was so bent on targeting Pakura and even used her life as a bargaining chip for a truce with Sunagakure.

It was clear that they both feared and hated Pakura.

But Hattori wouldn't let that happen again.

"As long as I'm here, Pakura won't die. I'll protect her, and I'll bear Mist Ninjas' hatred!"

With that, he shouted at the Mist Ninjas below.

"Mist Village water monkeys, remember this well: I am the one who's killing you and your comrades! My name is… Hattori!"

At the last word, he tossed a handful of explosive tags into the air, raining them down on the Mist Ninjas below.

"Once again, witness my art! My art is death, my art is flames, my art is… explosion! Hah!"

"Boom boom boom boom boom…"

The explosive tags detonated with deafening blasts.

However, unlike his explosive puppets, the regular tags were harder to control, fell slower, and gave away their impending detonation with a flash of light.

Because of this, most Mist Ninjas managed to evade the hundred explosive tags he threw, epitomizing the phrase "all bark, no bite."

Yet it wasn't a complete loss, as he made a lasting impression on the Mist Ninjas.

Not only them, but even Chiyo and the Sand Ninjas, drawn by the flashes and explosions, heard his declaration.

Hattori didn't realize it, but his actions to protect Pakura by drawing the Mist Ninjas' ire would earn him a title after that night—

Seeing Chiyo and the Sand Ninjas arriving for support, Hattori commanded his dragonfly to land in a safe spot, then joined Pakura on the ground.

Once down, he opened his puppet-sealing scroll, releasing ten Sword Master puppets and took out the puppet controllers.

"These have been unused since I made them, but now it's their time!"

He shook the control lever with his left hand and tapped the button with his right thumb. The ten uniquely-shaped Sword Master puppets began to move.

Seeing this, Hattori grinned widely.

"Hehe, the Ten Sword Master… have arrived!"
