"How did you come up with this idea, Ivan?"

"This inspiration came from a Muggle amusement park."

"Amusement park?"

Professor Flitwick tilted his head, clearly unfamiliar with the concept of an amusement park.

Yet, this did not stop him from admiring Ivan.

Including the initial Flashing Charm, this was the third new spell that Ivan had developed based on the Illumination Charm.

Flitwick felt a surge of impatience and asked, "Ivan, would you be willing to share the secrets of these spells with others?"

Flitwick had strong ethical standards as a teacher. If Ivan considered these spells to be his personal secrets, Flitwick would respect that and wouldn't pry unless Ivan was willing to explain how to cast them and acknowledge that he had mastered the magic.

"Of course!"

Ivan's response surprised Flitwick. He replied casually, "These spells aren't dangerous. They're just like other spells, only new."

"Maybe the firefly spell is a bit challenging to learn."

Ivan looked at the other students, especially Hermione. "But if any of you are interested, feel free to ask me privately."

"I want to learn!"

"The firefly spell is so beautiful."

"Ivan, how did you come up with it? It's amazing!"

In no time, several girls from Ravenclaw crowded around Ivan.

Beautiful things, even spells, can attract attention, especially when a genius like Ivan is involved. He shone like a beacon in the dark, drawing these girls in to learn more about him.

"Um…"

Hermione, who had been pushed aside, glared at them with annoyance, thinking, 'I was here first! Back off and leave my Ivan alone!'

Fortunately, Professor Flitwick stepped in and cleared the scene, leaving Ivan alone to discuss something with him.

"Ivan, do you know the wizarding magazine called The Future of Spells?"

"Uh…"

Ivan recalled seeing it in a bookstore. "I've seen it, but I haven't read it."

"This magazine is specifically made for people worldwide who love studying magic. It's similar to how Transfiguration Today is regarded in the field of Transfiguration. The Future of Spells is considered the authority in spells."

Flitwick hoped Ivan would consider publishing the results of his three spells: "Of course, this is just my suggestion."

Ivan wasn't someone who hoarded his magical knowledge. Unless a spell was extremely important to him, he didn't see a reason to keep it a secret.

These three spells clearly weren't that important to him.

It was better to share them than to keep them to himself.

In the following period, Flitwick invited Ivan to the auditorium for lunch, where they discussed the three spells and the details of publishing them.

This caught the attention of many students.

The older students didn't really remember Ivan; they only knew he was a new Gryffindor student.

On the other hand, the first-year students from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff quickly learned about Ivan's latest achievement through their discussions.

"He protected us."

"He just raised his hand and said 'quiet' to the mandrake, and it stopped crying."

"I heard he used three self-created spells in our spell class, including the one that helped us when we arrived at school."

"That's incredible! Is he really just a first-year?"

Meanwhile, the Ravenclaw students were also eagerly recounting what had happened in spell class.

"He can create new spells right after starting school. Look over there! I've never seen Dean Flitwick talk to a first-year during lunch before."

Malfoy, still smarting from the lesson Ivan had taught him on the train, didn't dare to provoke Ivan directly. But he couldn't resist belittling him when he had the chance.

However, Malfoy had to admit that Ivan was truly remarkable.

Malfoy was arrogant and liked to show off, but he wasn't blind to the reality that he was outmatched.

In the original story, Malfoy and Harry had a love-hate relationship. Apart from their initial grudge, the key point was that Harry wasn't as impressive as the rumors suggested.

After getting to know Harry, Malfoy saw him as just a lucky boy with a scar.

The same went for Ivan.

Malfoy, who had not yet faced the harsh realities of life, would never admit he was inferior to Ivan.
