Harry Potter: The Lightning King

"Sorry Petunia but you are no longer at the age to study at Hogwarts." Said Dumbledore.

Hearing this Petunia's eyes watered up. She lowered her head trying not to cry. Seeing this Snape thought of an idea.

"Nonsense she can be my teaching assistant," said Snape.

"Are you sure about this Snape? I will expect you have more free time to get more potion for Hogwarts." Ask Dumbledore with a smile

Snape face paled when he heard that but when he saw Petunia's teary eyes, he nodded in determination.

"Hahaha, alright she can come to Hogwarts and be a teaching assistant," said Dumbledore.

"Wait...I would love to go but who will take care of Dudley and Harry?" Said Petunia

"The school will send Harry an Admission letter on his 11th birthday so you can start next year, and Dudley can stay with his father"

Said Dumbledore

Petunia and Dudley face become gloomy.

"His dad don't want anything to do with him," said Petunia.

Hearing this McGonagall face saddened.

"He also hasn't awakened his magic powers either. I don't think he will be accepted to Hogwarts," said McGonagall

Snape spoke up again "I'll take him as my head apprentice, and he will help me make potion. He will follow me wherever I go"

"I can make potion without magic?" Ask Dudley

"Yes, but Snape there is a lot of problems that comes with this. For example, which college is he going to? How is he going to study? And finally, are you willing pay for his stay in Hogwarts?" Ask McGonagall

Snape looked at Dumbledore with a serious face utter the word "double".

Dumbledore spoke up " I agree. I assumed he will be in Slytherin"

Snape nodded

Dudley jumps up from his chair in joy. Petunia smile and thanks Snape. Harry saw all this and gave Snape a weird look. Whoa when did this guy become so nice. Then he thought of something and frowned.

"Now that you are a wizard it's time for you to get a wand. We should go to Ollivander's Wand Shop." Said Dumbledore

"How much does it cost for a wand?" Ask Petunia

"A few Galleons," said Snape

"What is that?" Ask Petunia

"It's our wizard currency," said Dumbledore

"I don't have any Galleons, and money is kind of tight right now," said Petunia

Dumbledore let's out a laugh and look at Harry. "You might not but I believed Harry should have some of his parents' inheritance. Harry, do you mind helping your aunt?

"No problem," said Harry

"Let's finish eating and head to Gringotts," said Dumbledore.

Every finish eating and everyone heads out to Diagon Alley. Dumbledore told everyone to hold hands, and he use Apparition. They teleported in front of Gringotts. Petunia and Dudley kneel over and threw up while Harry felt fine, surprising Dumbledore and McGonagall.

"Sorry I forgot to mention that you might feel a little weird at first, but you will get used to it." Said Dumbledore

After waiting for Dudley and Petunia to finish they went inside and walk over to the high counter. After the goblin saw Dumbledore, he rush over to Dumbledore side and gave a bow.

"Greetings Professor Dumbledore how can I help you today." Ask the goblin.

"I don't need any help. Mr Potter over there is in need with some help with a withdrawal." Said Dumbledore.

"The savior Harry Potter. Ah yes come in," said the goblin.

Snape and McGonagall decided to wait for them while the goblin leading everyone else to a mine cart. The cart brought them to the underground vaults. The cart stops at Vault 687.

"Your key Mr Potter." The goblin stretches out his hand.

Harry felt his pocket sudden got slightly heavier. He digs in his pocket to pull out the key and then he hands it over to the goblin. The goblin inserted the key into the unnoticeable keyhole making a loud clicking sound. The goblins swung the door open and in front of everybody there were a mountain of Galleons.

Harry remembers this scene in the movie and wasn't surprised. Petunia and Dudley mouth was wide open.

"Your parents left this for you and you parents has a lot of shares in a lot of Wizarding business." Said Dumbledore

"Aunt Petunia, you grab some Galleons to hold on for rainy days," said Harry

"No, Harry i just borrowing it I will pay you back," said Petunia

"It's fine we are a family and you been taking care of me when I was a baby so it fine," said Harry.

Harry then stuffs a bag full of Galleons in Petunia hand.

"Thank you, Harry," said Petunia

Harry then stuffs his pocket with some Galleons. He saw Dudley reaching for some Galleons and smack his hands.

"You are not allowed to touch this. I will let Aunt Petunia handle your allowance. I trust that she won't overspend on junk food," said Harry

"That is not fair" whine Dudley

After finishing gathering some Galleons, they met back with Snape and McGonagall.

"Alright off to Ollivander's Wand Shop," said McGonagall

On the way out of Gringotts, Harry stops Snape to talk privately.

"I know your attentions with my aunt, and I won't stop you. I'm even appreciated that you are letting Dudley in Hogwarts, but I want you to remember my aunt is not my mom" Harry pause and stare at Snape with lightning flashing in his eye. "If you want to use her as my mom replacement, I will shatter your little fantasy"

"I give you time to think about it" Harry turn and caught up with the others leaving Snape a lonely in his thoughts. Eventually, he caught up with the group and they were in front of Ollivander's Wand Shop.

Everyone entered the shop and heard a conversation between a man and little girl.

"Can't you just give me the Wand now? I willing to pay extra." Said the little girl

"I'm sorry Ms Vole but I can't give you a wand till you get admitted to Hogwarts." Said the man.

The man then turn and saw the group. He gave a welcoming smile.

"Hi everyone, welcome to Ollivander's Wand Shop. I'm Garrick Ollivander." Ollivander bowed
