Harry Potter: The Bard of Hogwarts

Chapter 242: Chapter 242: The Twins' Inclusion

Penelope Clearwater.

Ravenclaw's seventh-year prefect and the female president of the Hogwarts Student Council.

Facing the furious gazes in the common room, Penelope calmly lowered the wand from her throat.

"What? Do you have something to say? I'm waiting!"

By the end of her seventh year, Penelope was a full-fledged adult witch.

Her tall stature, combined with the long-standing authority she held as prefect over the past three years, made everyone instinctively look away, avoiding challenging her gaze.

"I'd really like to know what the point of your argument is."

Penelope looked around the room, but her gaze didn't linger on anyone in particular; instead, it swept over them like a hawk surveying its territory.

"All your arguments are based on the assumption that Swinburne is willing to sell you a viewing mirror. All your hopes rest on Cho's relationship with Swinburne, and that relationship is only because they are in the same club."

"Use your brains. The other party is Ino Swinburne, not Cedric Diggory!"

Penelope's words left everyone speechless, and Cho's face turned red with embarrassment.

Cho helplessly covered her forehead. What did this have to do with her! Why did there have to be a comparison? If possible, she also wanted to...

But clearly, now was not the time to interject.

Seemingly noticing Cho's discomfort, Penelope pursed her lips and gave her an apologetic look.

"Now, anyone who wants to voice their opinion or put on a performance, take out your Galleons and register with me!"

As she spoke, Penelope waved her wand, and a piece of parchment and a quick-quotes quill floated into the air.

"Rest assured, all amounts will be transparent!"

...

A similar scene was playing out in Hufflepuff, but the protagonist there was Cedric.

However, Ino knew nothing of this.

In the Valley of the Sanctuary, after using a weather spell to water his magical plants, he placed the books Lina had copied into a white marble room.

Looking at the empty bookshelves, he felt no disappointment; instead, he was filled with pride.

Although there were only a few books, their value was incredibly high.

Time Reversal, Resurrection of the Dead, The Book of Invisibility that Talks About Hiding, Gaunt Family Notes, The Half-Blood Prince's Potion Techniques...

And, of course, his notes made from Basilisk leather, which included enchantments for items like Ravenclaw's Diadem, Slytherin's Locket, and a Time-Turner.

Now, with the addition of the six forbidden books Lina had copied.

"I feel richer!" Ino said, stroking the bookshelf with a satisfied expression.

"Reading and understanding them is what makes you truly rich! Otherwise, these treasures are just temporarily in your custody."

From the blue spiderweb on the ceiling, Lina peeked out with a light laugh, her tone gently teasing.

"Then let's take our time! After all, I'm not short of it."

He took the teasing in stride.

With the existence of the Sanctuary, even the most basic calculations would give him more than double the lifespan of an ordinary wizard.

...

Before dinner, Ino left the valley.

Just as he reached the entrance of the Great Hall, he saw the Weasley twins looking at him from a distance, and Cho who seemed hesitant to speak.

Faced with this choice, he walked toward Cho without hesitation.

It wasn't because he had any ulterior motives; he simply had a deeper friendship with Cho.

This sight made George and Fred simultaneously put on exaggerated expressions of heartbreak.

Ino didn't care and quickened his pace instead.

"If I'm not mistaken, the Flower of Ravenclaw is waiting for me specifically? What an honor."

"Annoying!" Cho rolled her eyes at him, exasperated.

There was a time when she did wait for him specifically, but all she got was silence in return.

"Tell me, what's the matter?" After the joke, Ino got straight to the point.

In a brief glance earlier, he had already seen a few Hufflepuffs hastily leaving the Great Hall.

"On behalf of Ravenclaw, I want to buy a movie mirror." Cho directly stated her purpose and took out a money bag marked with Gringotts' seal from her pocket.

"There are 220 Galleons here! If it's not enough, let me know how much more. You can be honest because only a small portion of this is my money."

Hearing her intelligent words, Ino couldn't help but give Cho a mental thumbs up. Who said Ravenclaws were all bookworms?

"I'll give you one! Don't be in a hurry to refuse, hear me out. This is for publicity..."

Smart people understand each other. As Ino explained, Cho understood the purpose of the publicity and momentum. Her eyes, clear and bright, filled with admiration.

"Then I'll wait for you! Same time, same place tomorrow." Cho spoke each word deliberately, giving the impression that she wouldn't accept anything less.

Perhaps considering the terror of rumors, neither of them intended to chat further after discussing business.

Of course, even if they wanted to chat, they wouldn't choose the crowded Great Hall.

...

Cho left briskly.

Ino, however, didn't get to have his dinner as George and Fred showed up right on time, flanking him.

"If you have something to say, just say it. My stomach is already protesting."

Facing two characters he admired the most in the story, Ino displayed the utmost patience.

"Then we'll make it quick!" Fred spoke first.

"We want to collaborate with you, or rather, we have an idea to share."

"Go on!" Ino suddenly became interested. The twins' ideas had never disappointed.

"We have a talking dressing mirror at home..." This time, George was the one to explain.

Five minutes later.

Ino understood their idea and was somewhat impressed. Creating such a mirror would indeed be interesting.

A magical version of movie reviews, or perhaps a magical version of a talk show.

"I agree! This idea is great." Ino gave the twins his approval.

"So, we want to buy a mirror and invite you to visit the Burrow during the summer holiday to see our joke shop."

Fred and George exchanged glances and extended an invitation for the summer.

"Of course! I'll write to you before I come. If the place isn't convenient, you can come to Hogsmeade."

Ino didn't refuse the twins' invitation. Visiting the Burrow would fulfill a magical dream.

"But I'll give you the mirror. Don't rush to refuse, hear me out..."

Once again, he explained his previous points, but he also shared his own thoughts.

"We need industrialization, or rather, what the magical world lacks is quantity, not quality."

"Industrialization? Quantity?" George and Fred looked puzzled.

"Yes! We don't lack high-end alchemical products; we lack widespread availability..."

Ino was keen on having the twins join him, so he explained industrialization and Muggle assembly lines as clearly as possible.
