Chapter 244: Man of the hour
*Morpheus pov*
Werewolves were interesting, they weren't strong like giants able to singlehandedly takeout groups of wizards. They weren't vampires faster than any wizard could possibly see.
They weren't angels demons or gods capable of throwing around massive amounts of magic with barely any drawbacks.
But werewolves were dangerous, in groups they could take down giants, vampires, angels, demons, and even gods. Their inherent magic resistance made them hard to kill with charms or curses. Hard not impossible.
One thing about angels, demons, and gods is they rarely ever use Transfiguration and if they do its usually elemental in nature. I don't know why but its something I've noticed throughout my encounters which means the wolves could be a great asset.
Sadly, none of the packs like me.
No, they actually hate me.
Truthfully, I'm almost one hundred percent certain it's not my fault this time. But my brothers funnily enough.
I walked into one of my safehouses it was bare of furniture I didn't pay mind to anything but walking to the basement. Checking the time I made sure the full moon was over and unlocked the heavy armored door quietly opening it up, "Remus?" I asked aloud hoping he was awake
"Guhhrrr." I heard he low groan but it was a human groan thankfully I didn't want to deal with another werewolf right now
Walking inside I conjured a school uniform for him and threw it at his side, "Good morning Remus, please get dressed you are going to be late for class." he wasn't but I wanted him to hurry along
He jerked upward a panicked expressions covering his face as he looked around worriedly, "What's going on? Where am I!"
Morpheus sighed, "You are in my basement, the forest wasn't safe last night Albus should have found you and told you to come here. Sorry about this I know its stiffling when you don't get to run around at night." its true he probably felt sore and uncomfortable right now
He groaned again massaging his head, "Yeah, yeah I remember the headmaster found me right before the full moon I was already feeling sick by then." Remus began putting his uniform on, "Why couldn't I stay in the forest last night sir?" he asked supprisngly not timidly he usually was rather shy
I thought for a moment before smiling, "Sorry kid best you not know for now. Maybe you should find a basement like this ever full moon seems like not being able to relax and run free for a night gives you a little backbone."
He blushed in embarrassment, "uh I'm not sure what you mean."
I chuckled, "Okay kid, let's go." putting my hand on his shoulder we disappeared to the entrance of Hogwarts
Walking him through the gates I patted his shoulder, "Here I have something for you." I reached into my robes and into my spacial pouch
he looked confused as I handed him a stack of books with rope tying them together, "some light reading I think you will enjoy it immensely."

I stepped into class a bit late after coming back from the Black Manor I was updating the two about what happened.
I was actually here in person today a rare occasionion not that they knew that.
My dear students looked at me with hunger in their eyes I could almost feel them holding back asking their plethora of questions they surely had.
"Okay get it out of your systems," I announced
Hands shot up instantly, "Narcissa." I called
She smiled in triumph at being called first, "did you have a vision of being arrested? If so why didn't you stop it beforehand."
I smiled, "there is an easy answer to that Narcissa, what do you think the major benefit of being a divination master is?" I asked the class
"Yes, Amelia?"
"Being able to change the future?" she said it more like a question
I chuckled, "No, the most important thing about divination is that you know what's going to happen or at least the most probable future of what will happen. To change that future completely and trust me it's harder than it sounds is akin to giving up your advantage. Most divination experts tweak small things to eventually lead to change in the bigger picture. Do you understand?"
Narcissa nodded, "So you only changed a couple of things from your vision so you could win your trial?" she asked
I laughed and they cringed slightly, "Magic no, I didn't need to change anything I was innocent after all it would have been pointless."
"Next question?" I prompted and the hands shot up once more, "Yes, Xenophilius?"
"Why were you framed?" he asked possibly the most dangerous question
"Because I'm a good teacher, next question?"
Hands shot up once more leaving me to sigh it looks like I won't be teaching much today.
*Narrator pov*
Night fell across Britain and the students of Hogwarts began to tuck in for the night. Four boys stayed wide awake though, "I'm telling you guys the house duels they are planning are perfect for a prank!" James explained passionately
Stiles groaned, "We are also going to be dueling you know? He lay sprawled in his bed
James smirked, "Thats what makes it even better cmon Sirius your with me here right?"
Sirius laughed, "Mate I'm always with you what's the plan?"
Remus sighed, "You guys really want to ruin the even Professor Abara and Professor Yowie have been planning since the start of the year?"
James cringed, "It won't ruin it just liven the duels up!" he tried to defend the idea
Stiles scoffed, "I'm with Remus on this one. They have helped us a lot least we can do is be responsible for a day."
James sighed, "Yeah I guess you both are right. Bloody hell who knew responsibility was so lame!"
Sirius erupted in laughter, "I couldn't agree more mate."
Remus yawned, "Go to your rooms it's time to sleep."
As the group dispersed James and Sirius leaving for their own room Remus decided to do some light reading before finally tucking in.
He pulled out one of the books Morpheus gave him and tried not to laugh the title read 'how to be the King of the Wolves!'
