The research conducted by the Department of Mysteries is akin to foundational theoretical research in the magical world. 

Transforming these findings into usable spells is no easy task, but they greatly enhance Alaric's understanding of the magical system and assist in compiling the magical canon.

During the Second Wizarding War fourteen years ago, Alaric had almost single-handedly defeated Voldemort. 

Since then, in the eyes of everyone, Alaric had become a figure akin to a savior.

This was a true savior, one who defeated Voldemort through wisdom and strength, rather than the Harry of the original story, who, with the help of Dumbledore and many others, stumbled into a situation where Voldemort killed him.

The difference between the two is substantial. 

Unlike Harry from the original story, after defeating Voldemort, Alaric's status in the wizarding world was comparable to Dumbledore's after defeating Grindelwald, if not more so—after all, he achieved this at the age of fifteen. 

No one could imagine how powerful Alaric would become as an adult.

Alaric was not the only one to rise to power over Voldemort's corpse.

After Voldemort's death, the remaining Death Eaters and his supporters were swiftly dealt with, facing punishments ranging from imprisonment in Azkaban to fines. 

Once everything settled down, the Wizengamot immediately initiated a motion to remove Cornelius Fudge from his position as Minister of Magic due to his mishandling of Voldemort's return. 

Ms. Bones was appointed as his successor amid public acclaim.

At the same time, employees of the Ministry who had made significant contributions during the Second Wizarding War were also promoted.

Scrimgeour succeeded as the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, and Kingsley became the new head of the Auror Office... 

In summary, Fudge's faction and pureblood wizards fell from power within the Ministry, while those who were close to and trusted Alaric, who followed him in the fight against Voldemort, became the real power players in the Ministry.

From that moment on, Alaric wielded considerable influence within the Ministry of Magic; it would not be an exaggeration to say he indirectly controlled it.

However, Alaric had no interest in using his influence to dominate the Ministry or the wizarding politics of the Great Britan 

What he truly sought to gain from this influence was everything within the Department of Mysteries.

By now, Alaric had mostly digested the research results from the Department of Mysteries, and his decision to stay at Hogwarts as a professor after graduation, along with his series of academic achievements, granted him access to most magical texts in the wizarding world.

Today, there was little magic in the Harry Potter world that he was not familiar with, and the compilation of the magical canon for the spell system—also known as the curse system—was nearly complete.

He was also preparing to find the next world to travel to through the time-space gate.

Of course, his immediate priority was to bring the busy head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Ms. Hermione, home late at night.

As Ron had mentioned earlier, after the war ended, the girls who had shone in the conflict had all made good progress.

Although Alaric's appearance had led Hermione down a completely different path from the original story, even changing her house from Gryffindor to Ravenclaw (a fundamental change in ideology), she still remained smart, opinionated, and compassionate, just like in the original.

However, under Alaric's influence, Hermione did not engage in foolish endeavors like forming the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare (S.P.E.W.) as she did in the original story.

This was not because she had given up on everything, but because she buried those thoughts deep inside. 

She understood that only true power—strength, influence, and authority—could allow her to truly accomplish everything she wanted.

Thus, after graduation, the girl successfully entered the Ministry of Magic. 

With Alaric's backing and her own talent and hard work, Hermione had become a significant player in the Ministry at a young age, allowing her to fully pursue her ambitions.

Such as advocating for the rights of house-elves and other non-human beings, promoting peaceful coexistence between wizards and magical creatures, and significantly reducing wizarding prejudices against Muggle-borns while encouraging the wizarding society to recognize the existence of the Muggle world and learn from certain Muggle cultures...

In short, Hermione had many goals, and all of them were gradually becoming a reality under her guidance.

Penelope, her upperclassman, continued to run her alchemy shop and gradually became a well-known alchemist.

However, Cho Chang had decided to retire after the 2010 Quidditch World Cup, at which time she hoped to take over as the director of the Department of Magical Sports.

By the way, Ginny Weasley had actively applied to become a Chaser for the Ireland team after graduation, becoming teammates with Cho Chang.

Fleur and Gabrielle Delacour surprisingly pursued careers as star singers after graduation.

Alaric had continually tried to assist them in obtaining the true powers of Veela through the means of Animagus transformation.

Luna still loved to travel, having journeyed around the world with Alaric more than once in search of the Crumple-Horned Snorkack, gradually becoming a naturalist and magizoologist. 

As she matured, she began to realize that some things were merely her fantasies.

Yet, despite this, the Crumple-Horned Snorkack remained her childhood's most innocent dream and her fondest memory with Alaric, buried deep in her heart.
