"The death of Voldemort marked the end of the Ministry of Magic's war against the Death Eaters.

This war began in the 1970s when the most powerful Dark Wizard in history used power and blood purity to recruit his followers—the Death Eaters.

Thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Magic and the leader of the light wizards, Albus Dumbledore—who had previously defeated the last Dark Lord, Grindelwald—Voldemort was first defeated, and the First Wizarding War came to an end. 

However, Voldemort had long used his profound dark magic to secretly survive and, with the help of his loyal Death Eaters, regained his physical form and powers fourteen years later.

Yet, the Voldemort he faced upon his return was no longer the same as the enemies he had encountered fourteen years prior.

He could never have imagined that his greatest opponent this time would not be the esteemed Dumbledore or the most powerful Minister of Magic, but rather a genius born in the same Muggle orphanage as him.

A Muggle he had always looked down upon—now known to all as Professor Alaric, who had foreseen Voldemort's survival and had prepared to defeat him well in advance.

Although the then-Minister of Magic, Cornelius Fudge, was reluctant to believe that Voldemort was still alive and repeatedly ignored warnings from Professor Alaric and Professor Dumbledore, the head of the Ministry's Department of Magical Law Enforcement, Miss Bones, did not dismiss Alaric because of his age. 

On the contrary, she placed significant importance on the intelligence he provided and took proactive measures in response.

To combat the returned Voldemort, the Second Wizarding War was led by Professor Alaric. 

Miss Bones gathered as much strength as possible and, through her exceptional strategies, gradually eroded Voldemort's influence, capturing many Death Eaters and forcing the remaining ones into a desperate attempt to storm Azkaban to rescue their comrades.

However, Azkaban was a massive trap set by Alaric for the Dark Lord.

The Dark Lord and the Death Eaters invading Azkaban tragically discovered that their every action was anticipated by Professor Alaric and the Ministry. 

They had fallen into a trap and found their escape routes sealed off.

In this battle, Alaric personally struck down Voldemort, and all of the Dark Lord's remaining followers were captured and sent to Azkaban.

Thus, this chaotic era, which had lasted over twenty years, was finally declared over. 

These two wars stemming from Voldemort's reign had profound effects on the wizarding world, with thousands of wizards and Muggles tragically losing their lives and tens of thousands of families being affected. 

Over seventy percent of pure-blood wizard families faced decline due to these wars.

However, the positive impacts of this war on the wizarding world cannot be overlooked.

Many safety-related wizarding laws were improved, the previously conservative atmosphere that discriminated against half-blood and Muggle-born wizards gradually diminished, and Azkaban was no longer controlled by Dementors, ending the persecution of wizard prisoners by these terrifying creatures...

At the same time, many heroic figures emerged during this war, whose efforts saved the magical world. 

Besides the most illustrious Professor Alaric, there were also Miss Bones, Mr. Scrimgeour, Mr. Kingsley, and many others from the Ministry of Magic, the Order of the Phoenix, and various citizen groups. 

Among the most legendary were (pausing for a moment) Mrs. Hermione Granger, Mrs. Cho Chang, Mrs. Penelope Clearwater, Mrs. Fleur Delacour, and Mrs. Luna Lovegood.

The commonality among these women was that they were all young geniuses, in fact, they were contemporaries of Alaric and shared a close relationship with him. 

In the fight against Voldemort and in breaking his dark magic, they provided significant help to Alaric. 

At the same time, they possessed magical powers that surpassed many adult wizards. 

While Alaric confronted Voldemort, they fought alongside him, defeating several elite Death Eaters.

Their existence, along with Miss Bones, proved that female wizards could achieve accomplishments equal to their male counterparts, and it led to the rise of the post-war feminist movement in the wizarding world. 

Of course, we should not overlook the significant casualties among male wizards due to the war and the influence of feminist ideas from the Muggle world.

In short, the Second Wizarding War indeed changed the wizarding world, and afterward, it finally fell into a long-lasting peace."

With a loud clap, the man closed the book in his hands.

"Alright, the story is finished, and you've heard everything you need to know. It's time to sleep; school starts tomorrow."

The man stood up and spoke to his two children lying in their beds.

However, his two children still wouldn't let him off the hook.

One red-haired boy, counting the years on his fingers under the covers, looked up at his father.

"Dad, Dad, since that's the case, Professor Alaric is your classmate, right?"

The father, with the same red hair and a big nose as his children, had to admit this somewhat awkward fact under his son's questioning.

"Yes, Alaric and I did start school in the same year, but we were in different houses. Now, you should call him the headmaster."

As he spoke, he recalled that boy, who had become someone he envied, closely associated with the girl he had a crush on at the time.

Now, that boy had become the headmaster of Hogwarts, the president of the International Confederation of Wizards, and the chief warlock of the Wizengamot—a person he had to look up to. 

Meanwhile, he himself ended up marrying the plain and unremarkable Navin Skit, achieving little, and was now merely managing a joke shop chain opened by his two brothers, George and Fred Weasley.

Truly, the uncertainty of life.
