Chapter 45 He Said Thank You To Us!
Chapter 45 He Said Thank You To Us!
After thinking about it for a while, David still couldn't figure out what Snape was here for, and he also passed the plan of the Pensieve in his mind, which was too risky.
David walked around into the auditorium and turned into a side staircase. He was looking for a place that Newt told him after he had begged him for a long time before going to school.
Going down to the bottom floor, David searched door by door, and stopped in front of a door with an image of a fruit plate engraved on its surface.
It is here.
David gently scratched the pear on the fruit plate, and after a couple of scratches, the pear burst into a smile.
Then it becomes a green doorknob.
It worked, grandpa didn't lie to me!
David pushed down the doorknob, opened the door and walked in.
A row of short figures appeared in front of him in an instant. They had long flat noses, bat-wing-like ears, and most of them were very thin. These were the house elves of Hogwarts, and they served the entire school.
And here is the kitchen of Hogwarts, where the elves make delicious food, and then use magic to send them to the long table in the auditorium.
After the door opened, the house-elves all ran to the door excitedly to look around. They hadn't been here for a long time.
But they didn't see anyone after looking for a long time, which made the house elves very puzzled. Could it be that the door is broken?
It was only after David realized that he hadn't lifted the invisibility on his body, so it's no wonder that the elf didn't respond when he came over.
David waved his wand, and his figure appeared in the kitchen. The house-elves immediately cheered and rushed towards David.
"Hush, can you keep your voice down?" David said hurriedly. Filch must have known about this place. If he heard the sound and ran over to catch him, he would definitely be deducted points. Hermione had to tear him up!
The house elves nodded obediently.
"Can you bring me some food?" As soon as David finished speaking, he saw the house elves getting busy, and judging from their posture, it was estimated that there would be a long banquet.
David hurriedly said: "I just need a little bit, don't do too much."
Some slow-moving elves stopped suddenly. They lowered their heads, and there seemed to be tears flowing in their eyes. They were extremely wronged, as if David had done something heinous to them.
"May I ask you to do well next time I come over?" David said impatiently.
The house-elf, with its head down, immediately looked up, bowed joyfully to David, and went off to help the other busy elves.
After a while, a table was set up in front of David, with pies, drinks and a large amount of roast meat. Although David asked them to cook only a little, it was obvious that their little was not on the same scale.
An elf in the front snapped its fingers, and a chair appeared behind David, and slid forward, allowing David to sit on it.
"Oh, thank you, of course thank you." David said with a smile.
Suddenly, the kitchen was boiling like water, and the house-elves were cheering there.
"Did you hear that? He said thank you to us."
"Someone said thank you!"
"This is the first time I've heard it!"
They kept shouting there, and it seemed that they couldn't stop in a short time.
David hurriedly stuffed the food on the table into his mouth. It was really not a suitable atmosphere for eating, and according to their noisy voices, it was only a matter of time before Filch ran over.
After finishing eating, David thanked the house elves again, then opened the door and went out.
He had just taken two steps when he heard meowing.
Oops!It was Mrs. Norris.
David hurriedly stood close to the wall so that they would not bump into him, otherwise it would be a disaster.
Mrs. Norris was trotting all the way and rushed over from a distance, when it was close to David, it stopped suddenly.
Mrs. Norris called twice to David's position, and then sniffed again.
"What? Honey, did you find anything?" Filch also ran over from a distance.
Mrs. Norris yelled back and ran away towards the kitchen, but after running a few steps, it looked at David's position before running away completely.
Did it find me?
but didn't expose me
Is it the little fish's credit?
After they left, David ran upstairs while thinking. Although Filch is a squib, he still has the vision he should have after staying in Hogwarts for so long. A place is called, he will be aware of someone in front of him, either wearing an invisibility cloak or using the illusion spell.
Filch would let Mrs. Norris follow that person until he leaked his feet. Filch has an incomparably strong stamina for catching students who violate school rules.
David followed those randomly moving stairs all the way to the fourth floor, the corridor that Dumbledore said could not be approached.
As David leaned closer to a door, he heard a loud snoring.
Then he pushed, and the door was locked.
"Alahoo is open." David took out his wand and whispered.
With a creak, the door swung open, and David pushed it open and walked in, and then a stench hit his nose and rushed all the way to the top of his head.
Wow!
David bent down and retched for a while, and there were three vicious heads standing straight in front of him, grinning and showing sharp teeth.
After the three heads saw David's figure slowly emerging, they shrank back instantly.
"Moloch!" David said angrily, "What did Hagrid feed you? How could it be so smelly!"
When Dumbledore said it earlier, he guessed that the three-headed dog was here.
Moloch lowered his head and whimpered aggrievedly. It wasn't his choice what Hagrid gave him.
"Okay, okay, don't be wronged, do you want to eat?" David patted its head.
After David finished speaking, the three dog heads stood up instantly, sticking out their tongues, looking very cute.
David took out the unfinished roast and put a little under each of Moloch's heads so they wouldn't fight each other.
Then he saw what seemed to be a trapdoor under Moloch's feet.
"Moloch, lift your foot."
Moloch immediately stopped eating, and not only did he press both feet against the trapdoor.
"Can't you show me?"
Moloch's three heads nodded simultaneously.
"Professor Dumbledore?"
Moloch flinched when he heard the name, and nodded slowly. It seems that the shadow Dumbledore brought to his heart is indeed not small.
"Are you really not going to let me see it? Then I'll leave, and I won't come to bring you food in the future." David pretended to open the door and leave.
Moloch whimpered again, as if Davy had bullied him, and he tried to move his foot away, but he was too afraid, so he just kept going.
