Chapter 30 Well, David can't hear you!

Chapter 30 Well, David can't hear you!
Tsk, this little mouth clicks so fast!

David secretly praised in his heart, he reached out and shook Hermione's hand, and then introduced: "This is my grandpa, Newt Scamander."

"Newt Scamander?" Hermione repeated in a low voice, frowning slightly, then quickly relaxed, and she said excitedly: "I remember where I saw that name .”

Hermione frantically opened the small bag she was carrying, rummaged through it for a while, and pulled out an envelope, the same as David's, and she took out the letter paper inside.

Then she swipe her fingertips for a while and read: "Monsters and Where They Come From by Newt Scamander."

"Are you the author of this book?" Hermione asked expectantly.

"Yes, it's a great honor to be your textbook, I hope you like it." After finishing speaking, Newt quietly raised his eyebrows at David triumphantly.

"Oh, that's great, can you sign me?" Hermione asked, only to realize she hadn't bought it when she went to get the book.

Hermione's face was a little red, and she said with a little embarrassment: "Wait a minute, can you sign it for me?"

"Okay, no problem," Newt said with a smile.

Hermione wanted to say something more, but was interrupted by Professor McGonagall, she said: "Then they will leave it to you, Mr. Scamander."

Newt nodded, and Mag left like the wind. She took big steps and disappeared into the crowd within a few steps.

"Shall we go to Gringotts now? There you can change to Galleons." Newt said as he led the way forward. Newt chatted, and the conversation grew brighter.

After years of honing in, Newt now had plenty of experience with Muggles.

"What are the monsters like? Are they scary?" Hermione asked, walking beside David.

"They're all cute little animals, you'll love them when you see them," Newt said, turning his head suddenly.

"Then why call them monsters?" said Hermione.

"Maybe it would be more appropriate to call them Fantastic Beasts. But." Newt winked at Hermione, and went on, "Maybe calling them that will get more people to buy my books."

Hermione giggled immediately at the answer, and after a while she said, "Are all your family wizards?"

"Well, yes, and except for my grandma, everyone else graduated from Hogwarts." David said.

"Then did you learn magic from childhood?"

David noticed that Hermione was a little nervous when she asked this question. She was such a strong little girl. David said: "Children from wizard families rarely learn magic before they go to school, because they are too young. The magic power in the body is not too stable yet."

"As for the learning of other knowledge, I think most of them prefer Quidditch." David said, "You can surpass them with a little effort after you go to school."

Hermione breathed a sigh of relief, she lightly clenched her fists to cheer herself up, and said, "I will!"

"And what is Quidditch?" Hermione asked again.

David was about to answer, but Hermione's gaze was already drawn to the large white building in front of him.

The white building stood tall and crooked at a forked intersection, and a large number of wizards kept coming in and out.

In front of a huge bronze gate stood a short figure dressed in red with a gold rim. His skin was dark and his fingers and feet were very long. At this time, he was leading the wizards coming and going.

This is Gringotts, the bank of the wizarding world.

"He is a goblin." Newt softly introduced to the Grangers: "They are all very good craftsmen, especially good at making silverware. And they have extremely high attainments in the fields of finance and currency, so we Leave the money to them for safekeeping."

When they were already at the door of Gringotts, the standing goblin turned to see Newt, who was coming quickly.

David saw Ragnor engraved on the nameplate on his chest, and he said respectfully: "Mr. Scamander, welcome to come, are you here to withdraw money?"

Newt nodded with a smile.

"We have some new deposit services and magic items recently, I think you can learn about them later." Ragueno said.

"I'll think about it," Newt said.

But for the Grangers, Raguenot didn't have such a good attitude. After talking with Newt, he walked aside, as if he didn't see them.

"Don't pay too much attention, that's how they are. If I didn't have a deposit in it, they would ignore me." When he walked into the hall, Newt said softly: "They just want me to exist. It's just money here."

The Grangers nodded, and the expressions on their faces improved a little bit. Raguenor's attitude just now embarrassed them quite a bit.

"You can go to the counter there to exchange currency." Newt pointed to a counter at the door. There were several families exchanging currency in front of the counter, and they should all be freshmen of Hogwarts.

"If we haven't come out later, you can wait for us at the door, and then we can go shopping together." Newt said.

Mr. Granger said: "No problem, we will wait for you next to the stone pillar at the door."

Seeing that Hermione has been looking at everything around him non-stop since she came in, and seemed to be full of interest, Newt smiled and said, "How is it? Hermione, do you want to go in and take a look together?"

When Hermione heard it, she immediately looked at the Grangers. She blinked, full of longing.

"Go, but you have to listen to Mr. Scamander." Mrs. Granger said.

"Oye, Mom, you're so kind!" Hermione cheered softly and hugged Mrs. Granger.

After parting from the Grangers, David and Hermione followed Newt through a row of goblin counters and came to a counter further back.

"Hello," Newt said, "I'd like to withdraw some money."

"Mr. Scamander, do you have your key?" said the goblin behind the counter.

"Of course." Newt dug into the bag for a while, took out a golden key and handed it to the goblin.

The goblin took the key and looked at it for a while, then shouted something in goblin language, and David couldn't understand what he said.

After a while, a goblin came out from behind the counter, he took the key from the goblin behind the counter and handed it to Newt, "Mr. Scamander, hello, I'm Gonuby, please come with me ?"

Following Gonuby, Newt and the others passed through a gate and came to a steep slope with a small cart in front of it.

"Shall we take this?" Hermione poked David.

David shrugged helplessly and said, "Yes, and you'd better close your eyes later."

But it was obvious that Hermione didn't listen to David's words, because she was screaming all the way, and David felt that the ear close to her was going deaf, her voice was so loud!
When passing through a canyon, the cart slowed down, and Hermione suddenly said, "Is that a dragon down there?"

"What?" David didn't hear clearly, he was still immersed in Hermione's scream just now.

"That's the Hungarian Tree Peak, one of the most dangerous fire dragons in the world." Newt glanced at Gonuby in front of him, with a somewhat reproachful tone: "It shouldn't be in this dark underground."

"Oh, sir, it belongs to Gringotts, and they are the most loyal bodyguards here. Our treasure needs them to guard it." Gonuby said, "But sir, you can buy him, as long as you have Jin Jia here." Twice as much as Long’s, it’s a good deal.”

Newt stroked his chin, looked at the dragon under the canyon, and seemed to be thinking about Gonuby's proposal.

David was thinking: how can I get this dragon out?

"Okay, sir, we're here." The car stopped, and Gonuby said, pointing to a door next to him.

Please recommend tickets, please collect, thank you everyone, hope to have a good time!
