Haikyuu - I Am A Different Hinata!

Hinata woke up and went straight to take a shower, then had breakfast with his mother and sister before leaving home.

"Your tournament starts today, doesn't it?" his mother asked.

"Yeah, I'll be taking the bus there soon," Hinata said while eating.

"I see. Try not to get hurt, I don't want to worry again!" she requested.

"Relax, I've been taking care of my body these past few months, nothing will happen... don't worry!" Hinata said while getting up and heading towards the front door.

"Good luck, big brother!" his sister said while waving.

"Thanks!" he said, waving back.

After walking for a while until he reached the door of Karasuno's volleyball club locker room, he could see all the third-year members waiting.

"Good morning, everyone!" said Hinata.

"Good morning!" they all responded in unison.

"We're still waiting for the rest of the members to arrive before we can go, right?" Hinata asked.

"Yes... are you anxious?" Sugawara asked with a smile.

"Anxious, I don't think so, but excited... very!" Hinata responded.

"There they are!" said Daichi while watching the other members coming towards them.

"Alright! Let's get going!" Ukai shouted, calling the members to head towards the bus.

The trip went normally until they arrived at the "Sendai City Gymnasium" where the matches would take place.

"Okay, everyone! This is where our journey begins! But remember that we need to focus on this match first and not underestimate our opponent!" Daichi said, getting off the bus.

"Yes!" everyone shouted in unison and continued walking towards the gymnasium's entrance until they heard two guys talking.

"Karasuno?" one of the guys asked.

"Yeah, they call them the fallen rivals, flightless crows... something like that," the other responded.

"What are you talking about? Flightless crows?!" Tanaka said, staring them down with his intimidating face before Daichi grabbed his jacket's collar and pulled him back to the group.

"Hey! Let's go!... I'm sorry about that!" Daichi said, apologizing to the boys, and the Karasuno members continued on their way, hearing voices talking about them.

"Hey, that guy is Azumane from Karasuno!" a boy said.

"Oh, I heard he extorted students from other schools and also sold drugs!" said another.

"We told you to fix that old-man look of yours!" said Sugawara.

"But I like it this way!" Asahi responded.

"Then stay that way! Actually, why don't you bleach your hair?" said Hinata.

"I agree! Who cares what they're saying!" said Nishinoya.

"Hey! Those two talking... aren't they Nishinoya and Hinata? One won the best libero award and the other best spiker!" a boy said.

"Yeah, that's right," said the other.

"And that's not all... that's Kageyama who played for Kitagawa Daiichi who faced Hinata's team in the past, why did they become teammates and at Karasuno of all places? And with the King who defeated him," the boy said thoughtfully.

"Tsk!" Kageyama said, looking furiously at the two boys while walking away.

When the Karasuno players were about to enter the gymnasium, they could see the Date Tech team coming towards them, where a tall player with white hair and no eyebrows took the lead and pointed his index finger at Asahi.

"Got a problem with us!" Nishinoya was saying until Asahi interrupted him by stopping him with his arm.

"Hey! Stop that! Sorry! Sorry! Futakuchi, help me!" said a black-haired boy trying to lower the white-haired boy's arms.

"Okay, sorry about that, he always marks the opposing Ace when he sees them..." said another boy while helping to lower the other's arm.

"I'm not proud to say this, but I think he's pointing at the wrong person..." said Asahi sighing and surprising the tall white-haired boy.

"What? But how? Aren't you Karasuno's Ace?" Futakuchi asked.

"Not anymore! This guy here earned that position with flying colors!" said Asahi shrugging while pointing at Hinata.

"Oh! That first-year I've heard rumors about... so he's already your team's Ace, then I hope he's ready for what's coming!" said Futakuchi finishing his speech and trying to leave but stopping after seeing the white-haired boy raising his arm again, this time pointing at Hinata.

"Hey! Aone, I already told you to lower that arm!" said the black-haired boy.

"It's time to go!" said Futakuchi while helping to lower Aone's arm again, and then the Date Tech team turned their backs and left.

"That was scary... but I feel better now!" said Asahi while calming down.

"Hey! Are you happy that the responsibility of being the Ace is now in Hinata's hands?" Nishinoya complained.

"That guy was really tall, he seemed even taller than Tsuki!" said Yamaguchi.

"I think he's the same height as me, when he got close I could tell we were practically the same if not exactly the same," said Hinata shrugging.

"Sawamura, it's been a while!" said a guy who came up behind them.

"Hey! Ikejiri... sorry guys, I'll catch up with you later!" said Daichi walking away with the guy.

The Karasuno players were warming up until they heard a voice coming from the stands.

"Tobio-chan, Hinata-chan, how's the monster duo doing?" Oikawa was saying until he got hit in the head by Iwaizumi.

The game was about to begin.
