Chapter 4.2
He got up and came to the experimental platform. He mixed the carbon dioxide they had just collected with the sugar water. It could be seen that bubbles soon began to emerge in the sugar water, like cola on the earth.
"Can you make this a little bit colder for me?"
Reiner said to professor Claire, pointing to the two cups of liquid mixed with carbon dioxide.
Feeling suspicious, but not saying much, professor Claire immediately cast a spell to lower the temperature, causing a layer of hoarfrost on the surface of the cup.
Seeing this familiar thing, Reiner felt nostalgic for a while, and took a sip of the soda in it.
There was no doubt that this was quite similar to Cola on Earth.
Praise chemistry.
Seeing the intoxicated expression on Reiner's face, professor Claire was a little curious. After adding that special gas to her potion, would it really taste good?
Noting the look in professor Claire's eyes, Reiner handed her another cup."Would you like to try?"
Professor Claire hesitated. On the one hand, this was her potion, and the strange gas had no taste, so the combination of the two would not have any special effect. On the other hand, the bubbling potion seemed to emit a certain magical power, tempting her to try it.
After thinking about it, professor Claire took the cup and sipped a sip of the cold liquid.
"! ! !"
An unprecedented feeling immediately enveloped her.
There seemed to be fireworks on the tip of the tongue, and the extremely stimulating feeling filled her mouth. For a moment, she even wanted to spit out the liquid in her mouth directly.
But the next moment, the fresh and sweet smell enveloped her throat, the original fierce impact disappeared and turned into a cool wave, with endless aftertastes. Even until it was all swallowed, she still had a lingering taste in her mouth.
Closing her eyes, she felt that she had come to the clear and cold pool, and the feeling of satisfaction and comfort penetrated her body through the skin, making her feel that she was about to melt into running water.
She felt top-heavy, as if she could float up and fly into the sky at any time, and for a moment, she even suspected that Reiner had given herself some psychedelic drug.
But this was clearly the taste of her own potion, but because the impact brought by the stimulating gas and coldness was too strong, she also lost in it.
Seeing professor Claire's expression, Reiner knew that this drink also had an unstoppable charm for people in this world. He handed the cup that professor Claire had put down to Sharon and signaled the student to taste it.
Sharon took the cup, looked at the bubbles that kept coming out of it, and took a sip. Her eyes suddenly widened as the bubble-filled liquid got into her mouth.
Carbonic acid was separated from the sugar water and turned into carbon dioxide. This process absorbed a lot of heat and made Sharon feel refreshed and comfortable.
The original ordinary sugar water, after this treatment, actually had a stimulating feeling. It made Sharon immediately energetic.
It could be said that she had never drunk such a drink.
For a moment, Sharon seemed to be on the Brynhildr snowfield in the extreme north, and all the heat of early summer was dispelled by the cold wind. She almost exclaimed in a low voice.
However, Sharon resisted the urge to drink all of it. She looked at the cup in her hand, a little reluctant to let it go. This drink really had some magical power, urging her to take another sip.
"What is this thing?"
Sharon couldn't help asking.
"Professor Claire's potion, as you can see."
Reiner glanced at Professor Claire, who was still immersed in the dreamy taste of soda, and then explained.
"It's just that I added this special gas and chilled it, so it has a different taste. In my hometown, there is a similar drink. If you want, you can call this thing Cola."Luna Nova Magical Academy was located in a remote place. While Reiner was from a big city. No one doubted that he had seen some strange food and drink.
Through reading the memory, Reiner realized more things, so he changed the subject.
"I think this thing can be used as a source of school funding."
