Zhibei's action was so sudden that nobody could have expected the person who seemed as steady as a mountain and whose momentum was soaring just a moment ago to turn tail and run the next. What rendered Yao Wumeng speechless wasn't the fact that Zhibei had turned to flee, but that after running four or five steps, Zhibei suddenly stopped. Having said that, Zhibei sat down cross-legged right there, closed his eyes, and began to chant some strange notes in a low voice. Why did Yao Wumeng disappear? The answer lay in the ring that Zhibei wore on the ring finger of his left hand. The original owner of that ring was called Ming Wanjie.
