Kai lei walked down the makeshift road, his boots covered in mud, if one would look closely their are hints of blood to.
Kai lei was exhausted from his constant traveling, entering an almost empty tavern on the road side, he threw a bundle of copper coins to the tavern owner, the tavern owner gestured upwards with his chin.
"Last room on the left" he said, not giving a single thought about how or why a child was here.
Kai lei entered the room, a simple room he thought , a bed that has sheets and a cover that who knows how long ago it was washed, he ignored the few pieces of furniture that were on the verge of breaking apart and laid down.
He stared at the ceiling for a long time, until he fell asleep.

Kai lei woke up, his head itching and bug bites all over, he sighed checking today's check in.

Kai lei thought for a while then smiled as he looked at the literal mountain of talismans of teleportation talismans.
Putting two transportation talismans together he waited then saw the notification.
[ transportation talisman level two: able to teleport to anywhere within two continents radius ]
Kai lei saw that his idea was working then continued.
[ transportation talisman level 3: able to teleport anywhere within the planet]

He continued fusing until he saw a new talisman.

His mouth twitched and synthesized two universe transportation talismans together because why not, it's not like he's doing it outta boredom.

A simple description but Kai lei felt extremely confident, he looked at the mountain thats only a quarter of what it originally was and smiled.
He constantly synthesized the transportation talismans until he could no longer do it.

He was very confused but ignored it, he now had two of such talismans and he still has a small pile of regular transportation talismans.
Taking a transportation talisman out he got dressed in a black robe and grabbed a mask, then proceeded to teleport.

King ying Zheng, he single handily won against his opponent Lü Buwei, who tried to rebel, now he stands on the balcony looking up at the stars lost in thought.
He had won without a tragic loss as he had back then but somehow he felt….empty, he killed the rebels and along with them many others who he implicated in the rebellion, their wealth was now his and their families copied and executed.
As he was lost it thought, small figure appeared, he glanced at the visitor.
"How long has it been a year?" Yong Zheng said.
"Two" the little figure said, jumping up and sitting down on the railing.
" so it's been that long already" ying Zheng said as he joined the child, he was pretty bored and thought he would sit as Kai lei.
After a slight wobble he sat down next to Kai lei.
" why are you here" he asked the little figure.
"To say goodbye, I am leaving this world and returning to my own" Kai lei said laconically.
"Your world huh, is it like this one?" Ying Zheng asked with curiosity.
" my world" Kai lei began, "isn't like this one, there were no martial artists, not like this world's martial artists anyhow, my world is a future world you could say, our technology and scientific knowledge built over the many centuries of warfare and world peace, was a sight to behold, our machines reached the sky's and even the stars, like a carriage" Kai lei said, he slowly started telling ying Zheng about his world.
Ying Zheng listened intently and he began to be shocked by this little Guys world, planes?, cars?, guns?, he didn't know what they were but Kai lei explained to him as best he could.
"You see, in my world you existed a long time ago, you were the first emperor they called you Qin Shi Huang, in my world you conquered most of what we called china, without any supernatural power, you a human like me, created the qin dynasty, unfortunately it fell apart due to widespread peasant rebellions fueled by the harsh rule of my worlds Qin Shi Huang, including brutal labor practices, heavy taxes, and strict legalist policies, this caused its collapse well mostly, it's unknown if there were other reasons because it was written in my worlds history and history is written by the victors."
Kai lei said, ying Zheng listened intently gathering information, he didn't react much, in part due to his composure of seeing big scenes and another part because of his own experience in staying calm and in politics , never let them see what you are thinking.
" in my world, before my death and coming to this world" Kai lei said, he saw the king's eyes widen but ignored it.
" the year was 2022 A.C.E, and you were the emperor of china long ago, 221 B.C.E was the year you united what you called the "world"" Kai lei said, explaining the years and what they meant.
He explained that the world was bigger than he thought, after a long time talking Kai lei chuckled.
" well that's about it" he said.
Ying Zheng was silent almost terrifyingly quiet , after a while he said.
"I see" Kai lei, swung his feet and said.
"That's all, I see, well whatever I wasn't expecting a big reaction anyway, I only came here to talk to a friend" Kai lei said.
"If you're my friend then can I ask you something?" He said.
"Yeah" Kai lei said.
"How are you alive if you died?" He asked.
" I have no idea, last I remember I was in a hospital bed, then darkness" Kai lei leisurely said.
" uh…huh" ying Zheng replied.
"Say my friend, can I ask have you taken the Immortality elixir yet" Kai lei asked.
"No, why" ying Zheng raised an eyebrow
"what do you think about immortality" Kai lei said.
" well i can live forever and rule, why" ying Zheng said and asked, once upon a time he thought that if he climbed the right mountain and took potions he could be able to rule and have an eternal army.(is what is written but who knows why he sought it truly, maybe he was just bored)
"Well that's something" Kai lei chuckled.
"You see my friend have you thought of what immortality is" Kai lei said looking at ying Zheng.
"What is it?" Ying Zheng blurted out.
" A curse" Kai lei said, pulling out a box that held an elixir.
" a curse?, how so?" Ying Zheng asked.
" think about it, as you stay young ,your loved ones will age and die, their children will grow old and die, you will watch as there is nothing you can do, you will grieve and the cycle will continue no matter how much you cut yourself off from the world, someone will always eventually be there for you, you will love them and the cycle will repeat, among other things " Kai lei spoke lecturing the king.
Ying Zheng fell into thought before he responded.
" then so be it, I want immortality not for myself" ying Zheng said looking at the stars.
"Very well, i shall leave you a pouch full of immortality elixirs, I don't want my dear friend to be alone forever, but be careful the human heart" Kai lei said and stopped talking.
Ying Zheng nodded very softly.
"I thank you my friend, are you taking a elixir for yourself?" He asked Kai lei.
"No, what's the point?, I don't belong here, in this world, on this earth" Kai lei said looking at the sky.
"I see, well i guess this is goodbye" ying Zheng said.
"Indeed, but before I leave I shall give you a gift" Kai lei said with a smirk.
Ying Zheng looked at him, "what gift?".
" well since I am leaving, I shall give you all the wealth I accumulated and the soilders i trained" Kai lei said
" very well" ying Zheng said, he was calm outside but inside he was surprised.
" I have lots of gold and seeds from around the world that have great harvests, I have over 500,000 soldiers, etc, they are located 50-60 miles away from here on a mountain" Kai lei said handing ying Zheng a map.
"Not to mention the piles of food" Kai lei added as ying Zheng looked at the map.
Ying Zheng was silent, contemplating.
"You are wondering why they are so close right?" Kai lei said knowingly.
"Yeah" ying Zheng didn't say it but Kai lei felt he was angry.
" I was planning on leaving for a month or two now and I organized the troops to go there secretly in batches" Kai lei said handing over a wolf medallion.
Ying Zheng held the medallion in one hand and the map in another, looking at Kai lei with complicated eyes.
" i guess this is good bye my friend" ying Zheng muttered softly.
"Indeed" Kai lei said and took off his mask throwing it away, ying Zheng saw the mask and looked at Kai lei, he looked back, the two just starred at each other for a moment before they both smiled, Kai lei disappeared in a blink of an eye.
"Goodbye" ying Zheng said to the air, he looked down and saw a extra bamboo scroll on the railing.

Mei hong held a box in her hand and watched as Kai lei disappeared from sight, he had visited her but left just as quickly, she didn't understand what he was saying.
He is not from this world, not from this time?, she didn't understand but Kai lei said to take one of the pills in the box at 18 years old, and give another to her mother.
Tears fell down as she looked at where Kai lei was, she should have forced him to stay with her but didn't, she felt the lingering warmth of his touch when he hugged her, she blushed and her face turned from a blushing face to an angry expression.
" hmph, you can't leave me that easily" she muttered running to her mother.

Kai lei stood on the city walls, watching as soldiers spread out, he twitched his lips and sighed softly.
Turning back he sighed, hopefully ying Zheng would help him out with this troublesome girl, he held the Omni time travel talisman and ripped it.
A bright light flashed, and he looked around, he saw the lights of the city in the distance and the honking of horns close by ,wait.., Kai lei looked over and a the bright headlights of a massive truck and sound of breaking was the last thing he heard before he blacked out.
