In the vast expanse of darkness, a single white soul could be seen floating. "Hmm.....hmmm."

"What is this sound?"

Leon woke up to the sound of a 'ding,' and opening his eyes, he could not see anything. "What the .... Why can't I see anything?" trying to rub his eyes, but he couldn't.

He tried lifting his hands, and while he was trying, he again heard a sound.

"What is this?" he questioned,

'Hello, host.'

Leon heard a feminine, emotionless, monotonous voice all around him.

"What host, who are you?" Leon asked the sound.

'Host, I'm a system here to help you with anything.'

"Hmmm ... Here to help me, you say, then help; why can't I see anything?"

'Host, what is the last thing you remember?'

Hearing this, Leon started to remember the last thing he saw, and what he saw made him shiver. "What? I and my friend died, then what about my wife?"

'Don't worry, host; your wife is okay'

"Then where is this? Do you know where this is?" Leon asked the system. Then he started thinking about this so-called system.

'Surely this is a host's system space; this is where your soul is kept, and don't worry about your world; everything outside this space is frozen.'

"Oh... so there is nothing to worry about, my wife, then. Nice, now how can I get out of this place?" Leon asked, thinking about what the system said, should he believe what the system said?

'I certainly can host, but you can't interact with anyone because of your status as a soul.'

"Then what about my wife? How can I cure her like this? And also, what about my friend?" Leon yelled at the system.

' I'm here to help. The host has three options to choose from. (First). - you enter the reincarnation cycle; (second). - the system can resurrect you and your friend, heal your wife, and also the system would erase your memory about the system and find another host; (third). - the system would recommend this option—the system would reverse time to when you were eighteen, and from there you can gain power to help your wife, friend, and parents, but -blank- now what is your choice?'

As he was listening to the system's explanation at the last part, he heard a ringing sound for a second, but he decided to ignore it.

"Okay, I choose the third option, but how do you know about my parents?. They died when I was twenty years old; also, can't you resurrect them as well." Leon asked because if the system could resurrect him, then why not them?.

'Host system knows about your parents because the system can read your mind, so the system knows about your past. The system cannot resurrect them because their bodies have been destroyed.'

"Then can't you just rebuild their body? Well please do not read about my dark history, Also don't call me host; call me by my name, and in return, I will call you Elisa. Is that okay with you, or do you have a name?" Leon voiced his thoughts to the system because it was getting weird hearing host and system in every sentence.

'Yes, Leon, you can call me Elisa. Also yes, I can definitely rebuild their body, but they won't have any memory before you were born'

"Oh ... Then what happens after you reverse the time? Would everyone remember anything that will happen in the future?" Leon thought that if everyone remembers the future, then what's the point of reversing the time?

'No, no one will remember the future, but if you want, your wife and your friend can keep their memories.'

"No need for that, Elisa; you can erase their memories as well. I don't want them to remember anything; they have suffered enough already." Leon was also considering whether he should erase his memories as well, but thinking about all the suffering they have been put through, he decided against it.

"I'm going to put them through hell like they did it to us." Leon thought and asked Elisa to initiate the third option of reversing the time.

'Okay, Leon, but before that, you have to know something about me (first). - you cannot reveal my presence to anyone, not even your wife. (Second). - After reversing the time, I cannot answer all of your questions, and if you want to ask me anything, then you have to earn that chance. (Third). - You can use magic after this, but you have to use it sparingly because I won't have a mana reserve for heavy use after reversing the time.'

"Okay, I agree, but what is this mana you call, and why won't you have enough of it? Can't you recharge it?". Having no idea of the so-called mana Elisa is talking about, he waited for an answer.

'No, this world doesn't have mana in it, so recharging mana is impossible. Also, don't you read novels?'

"Novels? Nah." Leon said, but he also noticed that at the end of the sentence he heard Elisa's voice was somewhat irritate. He thought he had heard wrongly, 'How could a system get irritated?' Thinking this, he ignored it.

"Enough chit-chat. Can you reverse the time now? I want to see my wife, my friend, and mostly my parents." Leon said impatiently to Elisa.

As the last word sounded, Leon's head began to spin; he could swear he heard bell-like laughter, but before he could think anything, he felt like he was pulled backward like a rocket.

He saw how he was falling from the sky and heading towards the location where he died and how his soul got into his body after that. He also saw how he was killed and how everything had begun to rewind as a video.

He saw how the accident happened, he saw how he stole that item, he saw how his wife begun to fell ill, how happy they were before that, how poorly everyone treated them, how everything fell apart after his parents died, how he fell in love with his wife, and 'bang.'

A boy could be seen on the ground as if he just fell from bed and was awakening from his dream.

"What the hell, that dream was too weird. How can someone go back in time?" Leon said and rubbing his head where he had a bump because of a fall; he started to sit upright.

Just as he was about to stand up from his position, he heard a female voice calling him from behind the door and saying, "Did you fall off again, baby? How many times do I have to tell you to keep pillows on both sides of the bed so you don't fall off?" He had not heard this voice for 15 years now, and now this voice, his mother's voice, is calling him.

"What in the holy cow's shit is this? How can this be? Have I really returned to the past?" Mumbling this, he got up from the ground and walked towards his bathroom. As he walked inside he saw a mirror at right hand side and just as he stood parallel to it he saw a youth.

An eighteen year old youth staring back into his blue eyes through that mirror with his chiseled jaw, his black hair tied in a bun, and a straight pointed nose this youth had a shocked expression.

"What the ... How do I look like that?, I was nowhere nearly handsome like this before?" Leon said in astonishment as he started checking face. "I still remember that was not this handsome before, so what changed?"

As he was checking his face he noticed a blinking red dot at a corner of his upper right side. He tried touching it but nothing happened, so he started thinking about it and it suddenly appeared in front of his eyes it was black panel with blue text on it saying.

Seeing this leon thought of status window and it appeared.

"Now, you stupid system give me a refund or I'm going to call customer service" while bickering with the system he again heard a voice of his mother and hearing her voice he recalled every sweet memories with his parents. Lovely bickering of his parents, competing for a slice of pizza, his mother anger side wait " NO"

He again heard her calling out for him and this time loud and clear "sweety this is my last warning if you are not here in ten then hehehe...."

Hearing this he started running towards, the door just as he reached it he heard a 'ding'
