(training is divided in 4 stage 6 months consist of 1 stage)
Trunks' eyes were full of curiosity as he walked in. Gohan followed closely behind. After they entered, the door of the Time Chamber closed automatically.
Gohan looked back and saw a wall clock on the inner door. It showed exactly 0 o'clock, moving very slowly. He knew that when the clock turned to 0 o'clock again, a year had passed.
Trunks walked ahead, excited. "Gohan, did you hear that? One year in here, but only one day passes outside. It's amazing, isn't it?"
Gohan smiled. "Of course I heard. And it's not just the time difference. You'll see in a bit."
"What else? You know so much," Trunks said.
"I'll tell you later. Let's check out the accommodations first," Gohan replied.
He planned to let Trunks experience ten times the gravity and the extreme temperature differences, a mix of ice and fire.
The accommodation was on the right side of the door, simply decorated with two large beds, a wardrobe, and a full-length mirror. Further inside, there was a bathroom with a huge bathtub, perfect for relaxing after training.
Trunks asked, "Gohan, where does the water here come from? And where does it go?"
"Maybe it comes from where it should and goes where it should," Gohan replied, stumped.
On the left side of the door was the kitchen. Besides the usual tableware, there were several large vats containing water, rice, and flour. Want meat? Nope. Just enough to fill your stomach.
Gohan knew these vats had a magical property: they would automatically refresh every once in a while. He didn't bother to delve into it. After all, this is a two-dimensional world where anything is possible.
After checking out the kitchen, Gohan said, "Trunks, follow me."
"Okay," Trunks nodded, following Gohan excitedly.
They walked through a passage to a vast white space. It was like standing on a white coastline, looking into the endless distance.
Gohan smiled, "Trunks, go down and take a look."
"Okay," Trunks answered loudly, then jumped into the white world and fell flat on his face. He struggled to stand up, overwhelmed by ten times the gravity pulling him down.
"Hahaha," Gohan laughed. "I forgot to tell you the gravity here is ten times that of Earth."
"Gohan knew but didn't tell me. Damn it," Trunks grumbled, flames flickering around him as he slowly stood up.
Gohan walked into the white space, feeling the heaviness but moving without problems. "To show respect for the Spirit Time Chamber, why not give it a hug?" he joked.
Suddenly, the air around them became hot. With each breath, it felt like inhaling flames. Then the temperature plummeted, making their breath turn into ice chips.
Trunks' face turned red and white. "I finally understand why Mr. Popo said no one can live here for two years. This is really terrible."
Gohan took deep breaths of the mixed hot and cold air, stretching and warming up. "You're right. This environment is tough, but training here will make us much stronger. Ten times the gravity and extreme temperatures will continuously improve our combat effectiveness."
Trunks stood at attention. "I know, Gohan. I'll work hard."
"Okay. Come on, Trunks, time is short, and the task is heavy. Let's start our first stage of training now."
"Good."
"Don't transform into a Super Saiyan. Attack me with all your strength."
Gohan divided their training into three stages. The first stage was to consolidate and strengthen their basic qualities, including basic combat power, resistance to blows, and combat skills. He planned to complete this stage in six months.
The second stage was to surpass Super Saiyan. After laying a solid foundation, they would work on breaking through their limits. Gohan believed that constant attempts and practice would lead to success.
"Let's go, Trunks. The clock is ticking."
Time is merciless and always slips away quietly.
In the blink of an eye, six months have passed.
In the Hyperbolic Time Chamber...
Gohan and Trunks are sparring.
Compared to six months ago, both of their hair has grown a lot.
Not only that, Trunks has become stronger and taller.
They're fighting in their normal state, but the sound of their hits is like thunder, echoing endlessly.
The power is incredible.
The six-month period has ended, and their fighting power has improved dramatically.
But if you look closely, you'll see that Trunks is out of breath while Gohan is calm and relaxed, handling it with ease.
Even with only one hand, Gohan still exudes a sense of invincibility.
Boom!
Their fists collide, and the powerful impact explodes, separating them by a few meters.
Trunks pants and says, "Gohan, you're too strong. I can't match you." Gohan looks at him and laughs, "Haha, you've made great progress. Besides, I'm your teacher, so it's only natural that I'm better than you."
"But you'll surpass me sooner or later," Gohan adds encouragingly.
"Gohan, stop joking. Haha," Trunks laughs.
"Okay, let's stop here for today. Take a good rest, and we'll start a new stage tomorrow," Gohan says with a smile.
"Great!"
Gohan ruffles Trunks' hair, and they head back to the rest area, laughing.
After taking off their sweaty clothes and having a nice hot bath, they make rice balls and pancakes to eat, then fall asleep soundly.
The next day...
They begin training to break through the boundaries of Super Saiyan.
Trunks becomes a blond and blue-eyed Super Saiyan, with golden Ki burning around him. Lightning-fast punches and kicks are accompanied by constant shouts of "Ha, ha, ha!" in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Gohan sits cross-legged on the ground with his eyes closed, constantly pondering and integrating new ideas.
Having lived two lives, with memories from both and the powerful soul and understanding from their fusion, Gohan's ability to improve and comprehend shouldn't be underestimated.
He sits there for a week.
A week later, to Trunks' astonishment, Gohan stands up.
His eyebrows furrow, and he clenches his teeth and right fist, letting out a long roar, "Haa!"
A whirlwind arises around Gohan, spreading outward.
Boom!
Thunder rumbles in the empty sky, and lightning strikes down.
Gohan's hair stands up, turning blond, his eyes blue, and a surging golden Ki envelops him as he transforms into a Super Saiyan.
But his basic combat power is much higher than Trunks', so after transforming, his power is even more formidable.
The strong wind blows, and Trunks widens his eyes, admiring Gohan's powerful Ki.
He wonders when he will become that strong.
But Gohan's transformation isn't over yet.
His Ki continues to increase.
Two seconds later...
Gohan's muscles swell, and he grows 20 centimeters taller, reaching just over two meters.
A golden light flashes, his muscles reflecting a dazzling shine.
The overwhelming airwaves force Trunks to close his eyes.
"Ah, this!"
"Gohan has surpassed the Super Saiyan bottleneck and entered a new level."
Trunks is shocked but also excited for Gohan.
He realizes he needs to work harder; Gohan is getting further ahead.
Trunks thinks to himself that with Gohan's current Ki, the androids are no longer a threat.
It's incredible how, after being crushed by the androids for twelve years, Gohan's strength has skyrocketed in such a short time.
Maybe, I should let Gohan bury me once?
While Trunks daydreams...
Gohan carefully feels the changes in his body.
His limbs are strong and powerful, and energy surges through him.
Gohan feels as if his pores are open, with magma flowing through his veins instead of blood.
His muscles are knotted, brimming with endless power.
But Gohan soon discovers a serious problem, which he had anticipated.
"This form leaks energy," Gohan says helplessly.
His open pores not only absorb air but also release energy.
Though powerful, the energy consumption is alarming.
According to Gohan's estimate, this form increases his power by at least 70 times compared to normal, about 20 times stronger than a regular Super Saiyan.
But the consumption is unsustainable, making it unsuitable for prolonged battles.
So, this transformation is probably a failure.
Even so, this form is more than enough to handle Androids 17 and 18.
While his energy isn't fully depleted, Gohan decides to try another transformation.
"Ahhhhh!"
His already powerful Ki surges again.
Trunks, completely dumbfounded, falls to the ground, not caring about the pain.
In his shocked eyes, Gohan's body grows even taller and larger.
The terrifying Ki sweeps across the world.
Though he knows it's Gohan, Trunks can't help but feel a little scared.
If Gohan was a big muscular man before, he's now close to a monster.
Trunks swallows hard, moving his butt.
Gohan now looks a little scary.
His muscles swell like granite, with golden flames all over his body.
Fortunately, Gohan's face now looks more manly, with a scar on his eye.
If it were Trunks' face, the impact would be too explosive to imagine.
Gohan exhales and moves.
After testing his boxing skills and speed, he shakes his head and reverts to his normal state.
Seeing Gohan's Ki dissipate, Trunks breathes a sigh of relief.
The form just now was also a failed transformation.
Though his power increased to 90 times his normal state, there were great flaws.
In terms of pure power, this form was comparable to Super Saiyan 2, very powerful.
However, it had serious energy consumption issues and its speed was halved, a significant disadvantage.
No matter how strong, it would be useless if he couldn't hit the opponent.
When his energy was exhausted, he would be vulnerable.
This form was called the Big Fool.
Trunks walks over with an envious expression, saying, "Gohan, you were amazing just now. I was scared by you. You were so invincible. If I were a robot, I'd run away when I saw you."
Gohan clenches his fist, looking serious, and says, "Trunks, the two transformations just now were wrong. Though the power increased, the disadvantages were too obvious."
Gohan explains the advantages and disadvantages of the transformations to Trunks.
Then he continues, "But I have a better idea. I believe half a year is enough."
"If it still doesn't work, we can spend another year researching. We still have time."
"Oh, oh," Trunks says, amazed.
Gohan is really impressive, his mind works so quickly.
He fails to transform and already has a new idea.
As a disciple, Trunks wants to learn.
Gohan smiles, knowing he's standing on the shoulders of giants.
Though his comprehension is strong, these transformations weren't his original ideas.
They were mentioned in the "original work."
But knowing with the brain and experiencing with the body are different.
Gohan spent a lot of time turning knowledge into experience.
If his comprehension were worse, even more time would have been wasted.
After all, he has no one to guide him now.
It's not easy to practice based solely on a vague concept.
As for why he tried these failed transformations instead of directly simulating the full-power form of Super Saiyan One, Gohan has his reasons.
As he said, only when the foundation is solid can the building be high and stable.
By walking the path, he knows where the traps are to avoid or overcome them next time.
In life, no step is taken in vain; every step counts.
