Chapter 5: Korin Tower
The journey was smooth, and they soon returned to the Capsule Corporation.
Gohan landed the spaceship in the backyard on a flat spot.
After inspecting it carefully, Bulma said, "The damage isn't too bad. I can fix it in about a week."
Hearing this, Gohan breathed a sigh of relief.
Plan 1: ✔️
With the gravity training room and the spaceship, their training options will expand a lot.
So, the next day, Gohan and Trunks cleaned the spaceship. They removed the moss and dirt covering it. Except for the damaged parts because they don't know how to,and Now spaceship looked as new again.
Now it was up to Bulma to work her magic.
Gohan and Trunks didn't know much about the technical stuff, so they just watched.
After two days of rest, Gohan felt recovered and decided to move on to the second plan.
Plan 2: Go to the Temple of the Gods to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
In this timeline, even Vegeta didn't know about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, so Gohan never used it. It felt like a huge waste.
But now there's another problem. Since Piccolo was killed, the God of Earth also died, and the Temple of the Gods became deserted. It's unknown if Mr. Popo, the guardian, is still there or if the androids attacked the temple.
They would only find out by going there.
Gohan planned to take Trunks with him.
On the fourth day, Gohan told Bulma about his plan.
Bulma was surprised Gohan knew about this and wondered why he hadn't mentioned it earlier. If she had known, wouldn't they have trained there sooner?
Gohan explained that he had heard his dad mention it when he was very young and had only just remembered it. He wasn't sure it would help, but it was worth a try.
Bulma looked at Gohan seriously but didn't press the issue.
"Well, it's good to have a plan. Just wait a moment; I have something for you," Bulma said.
"Something for us?" Gohan and Trunks were curious.
Not long after, Bulma took out a capsule and pressed a button. "BOOM!" The capsule turned into a big box.
Trunks opened the box and found a set of blue and white combat uniforms inside.
"Hmm? These look familiar," Gohan said, squatting down to touch them.
Bulma explained, with a touch of sadness, "These suits are based on Frieza's army uniforms from over ten years ago. Each of my friends had a set, but they all died in battle without using them."
"The one for Gohan back then should fit Trunks now."
Gohan's eyes lit up. These suits were light, breathable, and could withstand a lot of damage, much better than his current outfit.
When Gohan was a kid on Namek, he wore Frieza's army uniforms and was impressed by them. He recognized them immediately.
This was the same suit Bulma gave Goku and him when they first entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Even if Gohan and Trunks transformed into giant apes, these suits wouldn't tear. They were incredibly stretchy and durable and more powerful than Hulk pants...
Gohan smiled and said, "Thanks, Aunt Bulma." Trunks, excited, found the smallest set and put it on. It fit perfectly.
He Fly's up and down, satisfied with the cloth's
Bulma smiled and said, "It really fits. Trunks looks very Good in it."
"Thank you, Mom," Trunks said with a smile.
Gohan, feeling shy about changing in front of Bulma, found a place to change. When he came back, Bulma's eyes lit up.
Gohan had a strong, upright figure and solid muscles, even more impressive than Goku's abd Vegeta's. Though he was missing his left arm, he tied a knot on the empty sleeve to keep it from flapping.
"Wow, Gohan, you look so cool," Trunks exclaimed.
"Not bad, not bad. It fits well," Bulma said, nodding and smiling.
Gohan packed the extra uniforms.
Then he said, "Trunks and I will leave now. We'll be back in one or two days."
"Okay," Bulma nodded.
"Goodbye, Mom," Trunks waved.
"Goodbye, Trunks," Bulma waved back.
The two brothers left the house(because they have that bond).
Gohan figured out the direction, and they took off, flying towards Korin Tower.
Soon, it started raining heavily, and dark clouds covered the sky.
Gohan and Trunks flew through the rain, their auras keeping them dry.
Before long, a massive pillar reaching into the sky appeared before them, covered in carvings.
Gohan knew the top of this pillar was the legendary Korin Tower.
"Trunks, let's fly up," Gohan said.
"Yes, Brother Gohan," Trunks replied.
They soared into the sky, breaking through the clouds, and soon arrived at the top of Korin Tower.
This was where the Cat Master lived.
Gohan and Trunks landed smoothly and looked around. Gohan sighed. The Cat Master was gone, leaving only empty bottles and jars.
"Brother Gohan, where are we?" Trunks asked curiously.
"This is where the Cat Master used to live and grow Senzu Beans," Gohan replied.
"Ah, where is he now?" Trunks said in shock, searching the bottles and jars for a Senzu Bean to heal Gohan's arm. But there were none left.
Gohan shook his head and said, "I don't know."
"Let's go. The Temple of the Gods is up there."
They flew upwards. As they went higher, the sky became clearer, and the warm sunshine made them feel comfortable.
It felt like they had entered another beautiful world.
Trunks, excited by the scenery, almost shouted in joy.
Soon, they broke through a white cloud and reached the sky above the Temple of the Gods.
