GOHAN THE LEGACY

Chapter 2: lets....eat first

At this moment, Gohan was lying on the bed, breathing steadily and sleeping soundly.

His dirty clothes had been changed, and his entire body was wrapped in bandages, leaving only his eyes, nose, and mouth exposed. He looked like a mummy.

"There were 15 broken bones, multiple internal organs were bleeding, brain hemorrhage, and a lot of torn muscles. It's incredible that he's still alive. The vitality of Saiyans is unbelievable," Bulma sighed, then fed Gohan a recovery potion which was based on healing pod of saiyans that Bulma created .

After that, she pulled Trunks aside and asked, "Trunks, didn't you tell me yesterday that Gohan was dead? What's going on?"

"Yes, I buried Gohan myself. I don't know what happened," Trunks said, confused.

"Now, tell me everything from the beginning," Bulma said.

"Okay."

Trunks nodded, recalling yesterday's events, and began to explain to Bulma word by word.

"Yesterday, after Gohan and I finished training, the androids appeared in a nearby city and started causing havoc."

"I wanted to go with Gohan to stop the androids, but Gohan knocked me out."

"When I woke up and rushed over, it was too late. Gohan was lying in a pool of blood, not breathing, and the androids were gone."

As he spoke, Trunks clenched his fists until they turned white, and veins appeared on his forehead.

"Afterward, I buried Gohan and went home…"

It was exactly what Trunks had told her yesterday when he came back crying. There was no difference.

Bulma was silent for a while, then said, "Your brother Gohan is very lucky. Maybe he didn't die yesterday. You must have made a mistake…"

Bulma raised her hand to hit Trunks, but seeing him lower his head, she sighed and put her hand back.

"Oh, forget it, at least he's still alive."

Trunks, must feelling guilty now. After all, no one wants Gohan to be alive more than him.

Bulma's eyes softened, and she reached out to rub her son's soft hair.

Gohan slept for two full days. On the third day, he finally woke up.

He stared at the ceiling for a while before remembering that he had traveled through time. He was now in Trunks's house.

It took him half a minute to finally turn his head.

A purple-haired boy was sleeping soundly at the end of the bed, smiling in his sleep.

A beautiful woman in a white coat was busy in the room, flipping through notes and working on the computer.

In the center of the room was a half-finished instrument with a unique shape. Gohan looked at the machine, thinking it was probably the legendary time machine.

Years later, Trunks would take this machine back over ten years to give Goku a special medicine to treat a viral heart disease. Goku was saved, and the timeline split, creating two different worlds.

Thinking of these things, Gohan swallowed, feeling his mouth and throat dry.

"Trunks, water," Gohan murmured in a hoarse voice. He raised his bandaged leg and rubbed Trunks's arm.

"Ah! Who kicked me?" Trunks was suddenly awakened.

He opened his eyes wide and sat up suddenly. Then he saw Gohan blinking at him.

"Brother Gohan, you woke up! That's great!" The boy's face was full of surprise, but he hadn't heard what Gohan said.

"Get some water for Gohan," Bulma said, coming over and patting Trunks on the head.

"Oh, right." Trunks finally reacted, picked up the water bottle on the bedside, opened the lid, and fed it to Gohan.

He drank two sips, but half of it leaked, wetting the bandage on his neck.

"I'll do it myself," Gohan said.

He squirmed and sat up straight. The bandage on his hand was too much of a hindrance, so he shook his right arm, and a breath of air broke the bandage into pieces.

He took the water bottle from Trunks and drank it in a few gulps.

Bulma sat next to him, looking concerned. "Gohan, how do you feel now?"

Gohan glanced at Bulma and said, "Much better, but I'm so hungry."

His stomach growled in agreement.

"Mom, I'm hungry too," Trunks said.

"That's good. Gohan, you need to rest. I'll make you some food," Bulma said with a smile, then looked at Trunks and pulled him.

"Trunks, you help too."

"Okay," Trunks nodded.

"Brother Gohan, I'll go cook with Mom first. We'll talk later," Trunks said.

"Okay," Gohan replied.

Bulma and Trunks went to the kitchen.

Now, Dr. Brief and his wife were dead, and Vegeta was also dead. Bulma's family consisted of just her and Trunks. But Gohan had it even worse; he was the only one left in his family.

When Bulma and Trunks brought out the dishes, they found that Gohan had already put on his bright yellow martial arts uniform and was carefully observing the half-finished time machine in the middle of the room.

Bulma put the dishes on the table and exclaimed, "Gohan, why didn't you listen and stay in bed? Your body isn't well yet. You need to rest for at least another week."

Gohan smiled and said, "I feel fine now. I just need to eat a full meal, and I'll be fine."

"You're becoming more and more like Goku. You never take care of your body," Bulma said in a reproachful tone.

"Haha, but I really feel fine now. I'm just very hungry. How long have I been unconscious?" Gohan asked curiously.

"Today is the third day. Now, go wash your hands. You can eat after," Bulma said.

"No wonder I'm so hungry. That means I haven't eaten for three or four days," Gohan murmured, touching his stomach as he went to wash his hands.

After washing their hands, they sat down, put their hands together to thank nature for the food, and then started eating.

While eating, Trunks looked at Gohan. After a long time, he finally couldn't help but speak.

"Brother Gohan, that day, I thought you were dead. I couldn't feel any breath or heartbeat from you, and your body was cold. So, that's why I buried you. I'm sorry."

"Yeah, Gohan, what happened?" Bulma asked.

Gohan glanced at Trunks, then looked at Bulma, stuffing a large piece of bread into his mouth.

"I did die once, but King Yemma didn't accept me. I thought of the androids 17 and 18 still terrorizing this world and fought to come back to life."

"Trunks, we can't die so easily. Otherwise, there will be no warriors to protect the Earth. We must train hard and eliminate those two androids. When I came back a few days ago, I saw that you were slacking off."

"Yes, Brother Gohan!" Trunks's eyes lit up, and he nodded with pride. His brother's words were inspiring.
