Glory To Slytherin

Chapter 181

Chapter 179 Welcome to The Underworld

The sun rose and the moon set outside the tower, and soon, two days passed.

Ulysses’ blue eyes were filled with bloodshot eyes, and his expression was a little haggard.

Around him, there were dozens of parchments scattered with dense handwritings and patterns, lying quietly on the spot.

Ulysses rubbed his eyebrows, let out a long breath, took out his wand, and sketched it in the void.

The five second-level magic patterns floating in the air seemed to move with it, and the symbols in it were drawn by Ulysses’ wand, and the wand accurately found one of the lines to extend.

The five lines stretched toward the center, converging in a point of intersection in front of Ulysses.

Then, the tower of the high tower seemed to tremble, and the five second-level magic patterns shook violently, and soon began to fall apart, turning into strands of magic power to dissipate in the room.

Ulysses chuckled softly. The two days of sleepless days finally allowed him to find the common ground of these five magic patterns. Ulysses was not sure about it, but the scene before him undoubtedly declared that his method worked.

The small hourglass by the wall collapsed silently and slowly merged into the wall, as if it had never appeared before.

Ulysses was also somewhat contented. Rowena Ravenclaw gave him three days, which was already an extremely demanding condition, and he successfully cracked it in two days, which was enough to show that he has a unique talent for magic patterns.

In the process of analysis, the utility and inscription method of these five second-level magic patterns were also completely mastered by Ulysses. Not to mention other gains, this alone made Ulysses’ trip worthwhile.

Of course, this is not to say that the five magic lines are completely safe. Ulysses could feel that he had only three chances for trial and error, and the magic pattern would explode on the fourth time, blasting the tester and the tower to pieces.

Ulysses moved towards the second floor. This time there was no more test to stop him.

If the third-level magic pattern appeared again, Ulysses would have to sit on the ground and yell at Rowena Ravenclaw, and then obediently wait for death.

There is a big room on the second floor. Ulysses went in and took a cursory look, and found that it looked like a study room, but the bookshelf inside had been emptied long ago.

“Aren’t they all moved to Hogwarts?”

Ulysses secretly guessed.

Further up, there are two smaller bedrooms. Although many things have been taken away, there are still some things left in the room on the right.

Ulysses went in and took a look, and immediately found that there were several old books stacked on the table top of a desk.

“Magic creature experiment notes?”

He flipped through it casually, with some surprises, and at the same time wondering why these legendary wizards from thousands of years ago were so interested in the study of magical creatures.

Turning over, Ulysses found that not only a lot of experimental data was recorded in it, but also a lot of thoughts of the day that were jot down in the content of the experiments that followed.

Some content is related to the experiment, but the later, the more daily life essays appear.

Ulysses slipped into his pocket and walked to the top of the tower.

From the outside, this is just a small room, barely able to accommodate one person in. But after I went in, I realized that there was a cave inside.

The space was suddenly enlarged, and it was comparable to the Hogwarts auditorium. But it was extremely empty inside, only an ancient stone monument stood in the distance.

Stele?

When Ulysses moved his mind, he immediately remembered the stone tablet mentioned by the young Voldemort in the room of responsiveness.

Is it more than one piece?

Ulysses’ curiosity was immediately aroused, and he approached the stone monument and looked carefully.

The stone stele looks unpretentious, with some lines carved on it that Ulysses can’t understand. The traces are so light that you can’t tell if you don’t look closely.

Ulysses thought for a while, and cast a floating charm on the stele, trying to make it move.

The stone tablet did not move, but it did not exceed his expectations. It is certainly not an ordinary thing that Voldemort can treat it as a treasure.

Ulysses put aside his curiosity about this ancient monument for a while. He did not forget the real purpose of coming here, the clue about the address of the great library.

This task was given to him by the family before he came to Hogwarts last year. However, there were too many things last year and the clues were unclear. Ulysses has not made substantial progress until today.

However, Ulysses searched the room and found no trace of clues about the large library.

“Is she teasing me?”

Ulysses couldn’t help but think of such a thought, but he was quickly driven out. The legendary wizard from a thousand years ago shouldn’t have used such a bad joke to treat own descendants.

After thinking about it, Ulysses unknowingly cast a suspicious look at the stone tablet again.

He took out Slytherin’s little wand from his pocket and shook it in front of the stele, trying to find a socket.

There was no response from the stele, standing silently on the spot, making Ulysses blush and feeling like a fool.

Ulysses put away the little wand and pretended that nothing happened. He closed his eyes, let go of his own Mental Energy field, and carefully touched the stone stele.

The next moment, his heart was shocked.

A suction like a black hole erupted from the stele, and then Ulysses immediately felt that his own eyelids were as heavy as heavier.

He fell to the ground with a plop, as if someone pulled his hand hard.

An invisible door suddenly opened, and a strong wind engulfed Ulysses’ consciousness. Afterwards, his consciousness followed the mysterious force through the layers of space.

Countless worlds flashed past his eyes, countless planes lined up under his feet, as if all around his body were old-fashioned film films.

In the dimness, Ulysses suddenly felt that this feeling was similar to a Floo fan.

After some time, he finally stopped falling and stood on a solid ground.

A blast of cold wind was blowing towards him, as if it could blow him away.

Ulysses shuddered unexpectedly, and his body could not stop shaking, but he still resisted the discomfort and watched the surroundings vigilantly.

At first sight of this place, he was stunned.

Desolate, painful, gloomy, horrible… all the negative words together can hardly describe how Ulysses feels about this place.

Indifferent to the eye. Not far from Ulysses, there stands a towering door wall with a sentence inscribed in bold font:

Come, let go of all hopes!

Ulysses was stunned. The surrounding cold wind was blowing tirelessly, seeming to whisper softly in Ulysses’ ears:

Welcome to The Underworld.
