The old lady rushed out suddenly, so A Miao and He Shishi didn’t respond quickly. She would have been knocked down if it hadn’t been for the quick reaction of Shen Xinglan and Little Demon.

“My god!” He Shishi was shocked.

A Miao was shocked as well. Fortunately, Shen Xinglan held her.

Little Demon stopped the old lady.

“Please let my daughter go!” The old lady was direct and she knelt decisively on the ground.

A Miao frowned as she recognized that she was old lady Shen.

“Get her up.” Shen Xinglan coldly looked at the old woman, who was being unreasonable and making a scene.

Shen I and Little Demon got her up.

“Allow me to kneel! I kowtow to you!” The old lady struggled desperately. “Please let my daughter go!”

A Miao said in low voice, “Call the police!”

“I’ll do it!” He Shishi hid behind and called the police.

Old lady Shen was still pleading. “It’s my fault. Please let my daughter go! If there is someone who has to go to jail, I can do it! I’ll go!”

“Mrs…” A Miao felt very speechless. “Since you can’t bear the consequences today, then why did you do that before?” “Your daughter broke the law. Your daughter was caught by the police, not us. It’s useless to come and find us.”

“You all help me to judge!” The old lady pointed to Ling Lang because she was holding Chu Bai in her arms. “Her child bullied my grandson, and then my daughter went to them to argue, and they trapped her in prison.”

“No, no!” Shen Xiuwen immediately said, “It’s a misunderstanding. There is no need to bother you. You can return to the police station now!”

The police were stunned, and then the assistant of Shen Xiuwen came over to pull them aside. After he said something to the police, they left quickly.

“Come back with me!” Shen Xiuwen pulled the old lady to leave.

He never expected that his mother would sneak away at the airport. If Shen I hadn’t called him, he would have called the police.

“If I go back, how can I save your sister?” Old lady Shen pushed him. “You allowed me to beg them and let me go to jail!” Anyway, the old lady was certain that they dared not seize her.

As Shen Xiuwen reacted, he was extremely frightened. He knelt on the ground to touch his mother.

“Don’t move.” Le Yi smacked his hand away. “Do you want her to die?” As he spoke, he began to give first aid.

Shen Xiuwen realized that he was a doctor and shut his mouth immediately. He just looked at Le Yi with begging eyes and hoped that he could save his mother.

Shen Xinglan asked A Miao and the others to get into the car first, so as not to frighten the children. When the old lady cried and made troubles, Yaya was held behind by He Shishi, while Chu Bai was asleep. But Chu Bai had woken up now.

“Why bother…” A Miao looked out of the window.

Yaya was going to look out as well. He Shishi took her to the other side and put her in front of Chu Bai. “Chu Bai, take out your new toy and play with your sister!”

“A fish!” Chu Bai shouted happily.

It was a round fish tray bigger than their heads. Every hole in it had fish, which came out immediately. Two little guys had small fishing rods in their hands, so they could catch the fish.

“A fish!” Yaya also clapped her hands. These fishes were small, so she was not afraid.

Ling Lang frowned and retracted her gaze. “The wound is very serious…”

“Is it?” He Shishi said in surprise, “But she just hit her head?”

“She’s so old, and it’s not in a good place.”

Because of the distance, it was not clear to her which part of the brain was injured. But she could see that Le Yi’s expression was serious and he did not bandage her wound but tightly pressed the wound with his hands.

“It’s still bleeding.” A Miao curled her lips.

He Shishi nodded silently. Le Yi’s hands were full of blood and so was the ground, and more blood flowed.

“It’s too late!” Le Yi suddenly gave up his position and shouted at Shen Xiuwen. “You take her in the car, Shen I!”

Shen I went to start Shen Xiuwen’s car. “I’ll call the hospital and confirm the route of the ambulance.”

Shen Xiuwen’s face was pale and his eyes were empty. He picked up the old woman and got into the car.

“I hope… it’s not too late.” Seeing the car leave, A Miao was a little sad.

Anyway, it was a life. Even if the old lady was hateful, she shouldn’t die because of them.

“It has nothing to do with us.” Shen Xinglan knew that she was making blind and disorderly conjectures, and he struck her head. “It was her son who had to drag her away disregarding her life.”

“Yes!” He Shishi glanced at A Miao. “Why do you sympathize with her? It was her son who threw her down. Don’t take on the blame.”

Ling Lang nodded. “If he was not afraid of being affected himself, he would not have taken the old woman away hastily and his mother wouldn’t have gotten injured.”

Shen Xinglan looked at his watch and said, “Little Demon, start the car. Let’s go to the airport first.”

When they passed through security and were ready to board the plane, Le Yi and Shen I arrived.

“How’s the woman?” A Miao asked in a hurry.

Shen I said, “She was saved.”

“That’s good!” A Miao breathed a sigh of relief. But seeing the worry in his eyes, she continued to ask, “Then… she is not so good?”

Shen I glanced at Le Yi, and Le Yi smiled. “It’s hard to say now. She’s just out of danger. The final result won’t be known until she wakes up.”

“Let’s get on the plane first.” Shen Xinglan and Le Yi looked at each other.

When A Miao went to the bathroom after the plane took off, Shen Xinglan took the opportunity to ask him, “What’s the matter?”

“That’s what I mean.” Le Yi drank some wine. “Shen Xiuwen is narrow-minded. Although he values fame and fortune, he is blindly filial. If he finds out his mother’s real condition, he may be mad.”

A Miao just came back. Seeing the two men looking unnatural, she asked curiously, “What’s wrong with you?”

“Well! It’s all right. We’re talking about the company.” Shen Xinglan reached out his hands and helped her sit down.

Le Yi smiled and stood up. “Let’s talk about it after arriving home. I will also accompany my wife!”

Two hours later, they returned to City S. At the airport, A Miao saw Yu Sihan again, who ran over to kiss Yaya and ran away. And Yaya kept calling him all the way.

When she saw her teddy bear named Xiaoxiao after arriving home, she was extremely happy!
