chapter 225
Chapter 225. Pre-Corruption Quest (8)
The next two days, Noah diligently followed his plans.
As for the princess, he just had to wait for her to go to the kingdom’s northern secret realm, to find the so-called ‘Holy Sword’ that could seal the evil god.
Meanwhile, the nun had cleared the most difficult dungeon near the water city in the last two days, and her magic had recovered to eighty-five percent.
If she didn’t plan on triggering Horace’s questline, she could actually move to the next city to continue with other quests.
But Noah didn’t want her to go to the next city, instead, he thought she should go back to the city where she had stayed before.
According to Noah’s original plan, now that the nun had already confessed in the confession booth, her ‘faith collapse’ would lead to her corruption.
When she was still blaming herself for her humiliating, demon-like behavior, she’d discover that others, especially the respected Bishop Horace, were already shameless. At that point, the nun would surely feel her faith collapse, completely despairing of the church, which would lead to her fall.
But there must be a preliminary story before that.
After all, if it were just that, who knew if the nun would simply throw all caution to the wind and give in to her desires as well?
That would make her like the lowest kind of slut from the original work, the kind that would sleep with anyone just for the sake of pleasure.
To become the top-tier demon queen, Noah could provide the necessary magic, but the most important thing was her mindset.
It’s all about whether the Sister herself has any desire to wield the l*st/mark.
Right now, she’s just gradually accepting its existence, but still holds a deep aversion to it. She needs to realize that the l*st/mark actually has a huge positive impact.
The l*st Demon Queen that Noah envisions is someone so bewitchingly demonic that she radiates a holy aura.
A queen who commands legions of l*st Demons can’t be some run-of-the-mill demon.
After all, she’s the Queen; she needs that unmistakable presence of a powerful figure.
With that in mind, Noah will have to sacrifice his own body once again to corrupt and educate her personally.
Right now, the Sister’s body is more or less accustomed to his teachings, but her spirit is still lagging.
Noah will not give up. He’s determined to successfully corrupt the Sister into a l*st Demon Queen.
Then he’ll make sure they completely crush Bishop Horace, Researcher Dean, and her original final boss, the one who’s now a high-ranking l*st Demon.
That way, the emotional payoff will ease the time and effort he’s expended.
To that end, Noah has prepared a ‘necessary pre-quest to trigger her demon fall.’
Early this morning, Noah used the excuse of ‘having found information on that l*st Demon’ to successfully lure Clothilde, who had been up since dawn confessing the previous events in the confessional to the Goddess.
“Mr. Noah, are you serious about having information about that l*st Demon? I need to make this clear: if you say you were just testing my reaction, I’ll be angry, and not like before. This time, I’ll *really* be angry.”
Before seven in the morning, Clothilde, dressed in her usual attire, appeared at the cathedral doors.
She stared at Noah’s face with a solemn gaze, her hands instinctively forming a prayer position. It was clear she was still deeply troubled by the l*st Demon.
Of course, it would be strange if she wasn’t.
Her disgust towards Noah and herself combined doesn’t even come close to her loathing for that l*st Demon.
Right now, she just wants a fair and square victory over that demon who used despicable tactics to ambush her.
And then have that demon remove the l*st/mark from her body.
She’s had enough of this damned thing.
“Sister, your expression is a bit too serious, don’t you think? I can only say I wasn’t intentionally observing your reaction. I can’t guarantee that the l*st Demon will be waiting for you there. You know how it is with information; nobody can tell if it’s true or false.”
—Sorry, Sister. Actually, I’ve known the l*st Demon’s location for ages. There’s no way I would tell you though, you’d be walking straight into a trap right now.
Watching the Sister’s severe expression, Noah maintained his usual laid-back demeanor. He rubbed his slightly sore neck, conveying an expression that said, ‘If you’re like this, maybe you shouldn’t even go.’
“…I understand. As long as you aren’t using my reactions for your novels, that’s fine. Then please lead the way, Mr. Noah.”
Clothilde knew there wasn’t a 100% chance of finding the l*st Demon. She just hoped the possibility wasn’t zero.
If Noah was deliberately using her reactions as an experiment, she would *really* be angry!
As for what would happen when she gets angry… uh… uh… well, it would be terrible!
Due to her personality and position, Clothilde wouldn’t actually do anything when she gets angry. She’s a nun of the Goddess Church, after all; abstinence and tolerance are the tenets of the church.
Besides, though she hates to admit it, Noah was, for now, the closest male figure in her life.
If she were to really hurt Noah, she’d suffer losses too.
Mainly because, in that case, she’d have to find other men to alleviate her l*st marks.
And the sin of doing it with multiple people once is far heavier than the wrong of doing it many times with one person.
The former is the kind of thing that would get you dragged straight to an inquisition, no question.
And even without the Church’s strict rules… she herself didn’t want to do it with any other man than Noah.
“No problem, let’s head out… though I’d like to say that, your and my outfits need a slight change.”
Saying this, Noah was looking at Clotilde with a hint of pity in his smile.
That gaze, as if he was taking pity on something, made Clotilde very displeased.
“Why? This outfit is my work attire, if I take it off you won’t be able to tell I’m a nun, if you think this is my only outfit, you can rest assured, my purification magic can keep this outfit in its perfect state.”
Feeling like her outfit was being looked down upon by Noah, Clotilde couldn’t help but place her right hand on her proud, ample chest, a look of pride in her nun’s identity.
“It’s not that I look down on your official nun’s attire, Miss Nun, but we have to hide our identities this time, do you think an incubus wouldn’t recognize you in this?”
“…I-I see, you have a point, I’m sorry for misunderstanding, Mr. Noah.”
Because what Noah said was very reasonable, Clotilde also felt a bit embarrassed and lowered her hand from her chest, slowly bowing her head towards Noah to apologize.
“Hmph, good that you understand.”
But the Clotilde with her head down didn’t notice the malicious smile creeping onto Noah’s lips.
Because Noah felt, it was time for Clotilde to take off that battle nun’s habit that she never changed out of!
