Chapter 3: The Knight
As Aether faced Stormterror, he concentrated on creating wind bullets, the swirling gusts materializing into sharp projectiles. He muttered under his breath, "These better crit, or maybe it'll be a problem."
Just then, a disembodied voice echoed in his mind. "If you defeat the dragon, you'll fall from the sky. It's your wind powers that are keeping you afloat right now."
Aether's eyes widened in realization. The voice was right—his ability to stay airborne was directly tied to his use of wind powers. If he lost control or if his attacks weren't effective enough, he'd plummet from the sky.
Grimacing, Aether refocused his efforts. "Alright, let's make these wind bullets count."
He aimed carefully at Stormterror, unleashing a barrage of wind bullets. Each shot was guided with precision, powered by the enhanced crit effects from his system. The projectiles struck the dragon, causing it to flinch and roar in pain.
Amber and Paimon below watched in awe and worry as the battle unfolded. Amber shouted, "Aether, be careful! You need to find a way to bring Stormterror down safely!"
Aether, hearing Amber's voice through the roar of the dragon and the howling wind, nodded in determination. He continued to bombard Stormterror with wind bullets, each shot critical to the dragon's defenses. As he fought, he kept a vigilant eye on his altitude, ready to react if the winds grew too unpredictable.
In a dramatic twist of fate, Aether saw a chance to strike. With a powerful surge of wind energy, he launched a concentrated blast towards Stormterror's vulnerable spots. The dragon roared in agony as the attack landed, weakening its grip on the storm it had created.
As the dragon began to falter, Aether prepared for the potential aftermath. He braced himself, ready to use his wind powers to stabilize his fall if necessary
As Aether landed on the ground, he was immediately greeted by Amber, who rushed to his side with a look of concern. "Are you okay? You're not hurt, are you?"
Aether glanced around and saw Stormterror retreating into the distance, its storm subsiding. "I'm fine. Just a bit winded. Thanks for the support."
At that moment, a voice cut through the tension. "My, my, my, that was definitely a show."
Aether turned his head to see a man with a tanned complexion and striking navy-blue hair. The man had a distinctive periwinkle eye with a diamond-shaped pupil and a cryo vision, exuding a confident and slightly mischievous aura.
Amber stepped forward, introducing him with a smile. "Aether, this is Kaeya, our Cavalry Captain."
Kaeya gave Aether a friendly smirk. "Aether, right? You put on quite the performance up there. Glad to see you've got some skills."
Aether returned the smirk. "Thanks for the compliment, Kaeya. I guess I've got a bit of experience with handling situations like this."
Kaeya chuckled. "Seems like it. The Knights of Favonius could always use more capable hands, especially with the troubles we've been having lately."
Amber nodded in agreement. "Yes, and it looks like you've made a good impression already. Let's get you settled and find a way to help you with your search for Lumine."
Kaeya looked at Aether with a smile. "Your sister, huh sorry if we can't help much right sorry about that, but we can meet up with the acting grand master".
Aether noded as he walked with Kaeya and Amber to that Knight of Favonius, as they walked Aether saw a few knigh, he wonder how advanced this world Technology was, as they got in he saw two woman, and he had to admit both are very pretty, his eyes moved the first one, a gorgeous young woman. She possesses a tall and slender figure, along with long light blonde hair tied in ponytail and blue eyes. Attire wise, on top, she wears a white shoulder-less shirt with "knightly?" decorations in the center, with detached sleeves and separated collar.
Aether eyes then moved to the woman next to her, and he had to admit if he ever gets a girlfriend in this world Amber will have competition, especially sense this one just winked at him, Lisa is a tall woman with lime green eyes and long light brown tied in a side ponytail by a hair tie with a blue rose. Her outfit is largely many shades of purple. Her dress is made up of a piece of white fabric around the top, midnight blue for the majority of her dress's fabric with black and gold embroidery, open slits around the shit, lavender sleeves with gold accents around the ends, a collar in the same shade of blue as her dress, and a purple necklace. She wears short black gloves with pale purple lining and purple gems on the back of her hands. She wears a belt with a beige rose, black shorts with pointed edges, and gray transparent stockings. She wears black high heels with blue gems around the ankles. She wears a traditional witch had with the same color scheme and details as the rest of her outfit.
The Woman who looked like more knightly of the two spoke first. "Thank you for you help traveler, we wish we could help you more other then putting just missing poster, but I acting grand Master Jean will try help to the best of my power's".
Aether didn't even want to comment on her name. "Yeah thank you".
The other woman who had winked at him spoke next as she interduce her self. "Hey there cutie name is Lisa, I am The Knight of Favonius librarian".
Aether nodded back and gave her a playful wink as well. "Will it is please to meet you as well, both of you".
Aether just looked at them. "So let me get this correct the way to stop this storm in city, is to go to these temple of the winds, and destroy artifact there, and that is how Stormterror winds will stop".
Jean nodded, her expression serious as she explained the situation further. "Yes, that's correct. The temples are remnants of the Four Winds, and each holds an artifact that is amplifying Stormterror's power. By destroying these artifacts, we can weaken the storms that are plaguing Mondstadt and, hopefully, deter Stormterror from attacking the city any further."
Lisa, standing beside Jean, added, "The artifacts are likely what's driving Dvalin—Stormterror—into such a frenzy. If we can remove them, it should calm him down. But be warned, these temples are heavily guarded by monsters, and the artifacts themselves may be protected by powerful elemental forces."
Aether took in the information, his mind working through the plan. "So, we have to fight our way through these temples, destroy the artifacts, and that will stop the storms and weaken Stormterror. Sounds simple enough, but I'm guessing it won't be easy."
Amber stepped forward with a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Aether! We'll be with you every step of the way. The Knights of Favonius will do everything we can to support you."
Aether nodded, feeling a sense of determination build within him. "Alright then, let's not waste any more time. Let's head to these temples and put an end to this storm."
With the plan set, the group prepared to embark on their mission to the Temples of the Four Winds, each of them knowing that the fate of Mondstadt depended on their success.
Aether left the room, ready to work with but first be need to check something, he went to library he told he need a bit more information about, so they were ready to wait, as they all left for the temple the real reason was different from what Aether had said.
Paimon just looked at Aether. "So um Paimon doesn't seem you picking up any typed of booksx".
Aether just then just spoke not to her. "System what can you really do explain to all your functions".
"System, what can you really do? Explain all your functions."
The system responded instantly, its voice clear and concise in his mind:

As the system finished outlining its functions, Aether absorbed the information, realizing just how versatile and powerful this system was. With these tools at his disposal, his chances of finding his sister and navigating the challenges of this world had just improved significantly.
Paimon, still unaware of the system's presence, tilted her head. "Aether? What are you thinking about?"
Aether gave her a reassuring smile. "Just planning our next move, Paimon. Let's get ready to tackle those temples."
Paimon looked at Aether. "Are by any chance asking the system".
Aether just looked at and patted her head. "Even do you can't see you at least smart enough to know what I am doing".
Paimon smiled before she realised something. "Ah what do you mean Smart enough".
Aether chuckled softly as Paimon puffed up in mock indignation, realizing the implication of his words. "I just mean that you're more perceptive than you look," he teased, giving her a playful smile.
Paimon crossed her arms and pouted, floating a little higher as if to make herself look more imposing. "Hmph! Paimon is always smart enough! Don't forget that Paimon's the best guide you'll ever have!"
Aether laughed and nodded, still amused by her reaction. "Of course, of course. I wouldn't get anywhere without you."
Paimon seemed satisfied with his response and lowered herself back down, her mood quickly shifting back to its usual upbeat tone. "Alright, then! Let's go and tackle those temples! We've got a city to save and some dragons to deal with!"
As then Aether saw the system again, this time it was interface as it shows a starter packaged as he opened his eyes a bit wident
[ The system has given the host a starters package, this package depends on what the host currently lack, the host is lacking in magic, which this world has, so the host is getting the ability to pick from one these Magic system
1. The Magic System from the world of Overlord
2. The Magic system From the Nasu verses, bonus host gets to pick from one the through magic
3. The Magic system from the World, The Beginning After The End
Which of these 3 magic system do the host want to pick ]
Aether looked at these, in is many travrl these fictional world he had read about, and he had to admit each of these magic system was different from eachother and very powerful.
Aether pondered the choices before him. Each magic system offered unique advantages and could significantly impact his journey in Teyvat.
1. **Overlord Magic System**: This system, known for its vast and varied spells, powerful magical items, and high-level enchantments, would give Aether a broad range of magical abilities. It also includes summoning spells and dark magic, which could be very effective in combat and exploration.
2. **Nasuverse Magic System**: The Nasuverse is renowned for its intricate and deep magical lore. It includes Magecraft and True Magic, which are highly specialized and can offer powerful abilities like manipulation of reality and time. This system also allows Aether to choose from a range of potent magical abilities.
3. **The Beginning After The End Magic System**: Known for its robust and dynamic magic system that includes elemental magic, enchantments, and unique abilities, this system would provide Aether with a versatile set of skills that can be adapted to many situations.
Aether weighed the options, considering how each system might complement his current abilities and the challenges he might face in Teyvat.
- **Overlord** would give him a strong start in terms of magical power and versatility, but it might also make him a target due to its dark and potentially overwhelming nature.
- **Nasuverse** would offer deep and precise magical capabilities, allowing for strategic and high-impact uses of magic.
- **The Beginning After The End** would give him a balanced approach with adaptable and practical magic that aligns well with a variety of combat and exploration needs.
Ultimately, he needed a system that would both empower him and be versatile enough to fit his goals. After careful consideration, Aether made his choice.
Aether then rember the bonus of the Nasuverse as he smirked anyone of the through magic were very broken, sure the 1st and 4th through magic was not know even by him, but he already knew which one he will pick
Aether looked at the system. "I would like the Nasuverse magic system, I am going to gess i will be able to use all mage craft at the higest label, as for the through magic, I would like the 5th through Magic 'Blue'.
[ Really that is a new one, most people would pick the 2nd or 3rd, what made you chose the 5th one ]
Aether considered his response carefully.
"The 5th True Magic, 'Blue,' represents the concept of 'Imaginary Numbers' and has the potential to manipulate the fundamental nature of reality itself. It offers an unparalleled advantage in terms of conceptual manipulation and abstract power. While the other True Magics are also formidable, 'Blue' aligns with my current goals and the challenges I anticipate. Its capability to interact with concepts that go beyond conventional understanding makes it uniquely suited to dealing with the anomalies and threats I might encounter."
The system acknowledged Aether's choice and proceeded to integrate the Nasuverse magic system into his abilities.
[Integration complete. Host now possesses the Nasuverse magic system and the 5th True Magic, 'Blue.' All magecraft is now available at the highest level. Host is equipped to manipulate concepts and utilize advanced magical techniques.]
Aether felt a surge of power and knowledge as the magic system was activated. With this new arsenal, he was better prepared for the trials ahead in Teyvat and the mysterious forces that lay beyond.
