Chapter 42: Chapter 42

Akio held the sea dragon in his hand. Would the meat of a sea beast taste good?

The sailors stared in awe at Akio, who had just killed the sea beast with a single punch. He was now hovering above the Alcor, holding the sea dragon.

"Beidou, can this sea dragon be eaten?" Akio asked, looking at Beidou.

"…" Beidou was speechless. Most people would be terrified at the sight of such a sea beast, but he was actually thinking about eating it.

"Sea dragons are generally non-toxic and can be eaten," Beidou nodded. She hadn't tried it herself, but she had read in a marine book that all sea dragons were non-toxic.

"Good," Akio nodded. A sharp golden light flashed in the air, slicing the massive sea dragon into several pieces, which then flew toward the various ships.

Akio kept the best cuts of the sea dragon meat for himself, storing them in his Imaginary Space, before slowly descending from the sky.

"What's wrong?" Akio asked, noticing the complex look in Beidou's eyes.

"I didn't expect you to be a god," Beidou said, her emotions mixed.

"Do you care about that?" Akio smiled. "Beidou doesn't seem like someone who'd be intimidated by something like this, right?"

"Of course not," Beidou shook her head. So what if Akio was a god? He wasn't the Geo Archon, and she could still be friends with him.

"Then that's that," Akio yawned. "Since there's nothing else, I'll go back to rest. Beidou, go take a bath. Don't catch a cold."

With that, Akio waved his hand and walked back into his cabin.

"Stop staring!" Beidou shouted at the curious onlookers. "Everyone, except those on duty, get some rest. You'll need to be on shift in the morning!"

Since Beidou had spoken, everyone obediently put away their curiosity and went back to rest.

Inside Akio's room.

"Saiguu, quickly turn into a big fox! Let me bury my face in you!" Akio shook Kitsune Saiguu.

"Idiot!" Kitsune Saiguu glared at Akio, then a white light flashed, and she transformed into her human form, pouting at him.

"…" Akio was momentarily speechless as he looked at the beauty before him. Honestly, sleeping while holding a fox was quite comfortable.

"How about… you turn back?" Akio tentatively asked.

"You clueless man! Here, bury your face!" Kitsune Saiguu rolled her eyes and pressed Akio's head into her chest!

"…" In an instant, Akio was enveloped in warmth and softness. The milky white "snowballs" nearly suffocated him, and a fragrant scent filled his nose.

"Please give me more of this reward! Bury me to death!" Akio shouted in his heart. Who wouldn't love this? He'd gladly die like this.

The latter half of the night was calm and peaceful. With Kitsune Saiguu's "face wash," Akio ended up sleeping in unusually late, not getting up until noon the next day.

Kitsune Saiguu didn't transform back into a small fox today. Instead, she wore a beautiful white dress.

Her face was flushed as she glared at Akio. Her ample chest still felt damp, making her somewhat uncomfortable.

"You big pervert! How can you be so bad!" Kitsune Saiguu scolded.

"Thanks for the compliment," Akio smirked and nodded. You offered yourself up, so of course I had to savor it. Even though the environment wasn't ideal for doing much, I did everything I could.

"Hmph," Kitsune Saiguu rolled her eyes and walked out of the room, arm in arm with Akio.

It was mealtime, and on the deck, Beidou and the sailors were grilling the sea dragon meat Akio had given them the day before. The rich aroma of meat filled the air.

"Akio! Come over! This sea dragon meat is edible, and it's incredibly delicious!" Beidou called out as she saw Akio emerge, waving him over.

"Who's this? Oh~" Akio and Kitsune Saiguu walked over, and Beidou noticed the white-haired beauty beside him. Seeing her fox ears and tail, Beidou suddenly understood and gave a mischievous smile.

Kitsune Saiguu's transformation was different from Yae Miko's. She didn't like to hide her tail, feeling it was too restrictive and uncomfortable.

Akio didn't mind Beidou's teasing. He pulled over two stools, giving one to Kitsune Saiguu and sitting on the other.

"Here," Beidou handed Akio a large piece of meat and then gave one to Kitsune Saiguu.

"Mmm~ it's really good," Akio took a bite. As expected of a sea beast, the meat was firm and had an excellent texture. Most importantly, it was incredibly flavorful, more so than any meat Akio had ever tasted.

"This sea dragon had a decent level of cultivation. Every part of its body has been tempered by elemental energy," Kitsune Saiguu nodded in satisfaction. "That's why the meat is so good."

"Thanks to you, we get to enjoy this sea dragon meat," Beidou laughed, eating and drinking heartily.

Akio also took a large bowl and filled it with wine. The feeling of freedom and carefreeness was truly comfortable.

"When you killed Haishan before, didn't you eat it?" Akio asked after taking a sip of wine.

"No, its body was sold off," Beidou shook her head. "At that time, the fleet was severely damaged, so we had to sell Haishan to cover the losses."

Akio nodded and asked, "How much longer until we reach Liyue?"

"At least another week," Beidou calculated. They were about halfway there.

Akio nodded and said, "Before coming to Liyue, I heard that besides the Geo Archon, the Liyue Qixing manage the daily affairs of Liyue. Beidou, can you tell me about the Liyue Qixing?"

"Of course," Beidou nodded. It wasn't a secret, and besides, she was just a captain and didn't know much.

Life at sea was quite boring. These days, Akio either fished or played Genius Invokation TCG with Beidou and the others. At night, he wasn't lonely with Kitsune Saiguu by his side.

"Akio! We're almost there!" Beidou suddenly found Akio, who was fishing, and said.

"Oh? We're close?" Akio became interested. Ever since his beginner's luck in fishing ran out, he'd been coming up empty-handed, which was really frustrating.

"About another hour. I just ran into some fishermen," Beidou nodded.

"Hmm? We're almost there?" Kitsune Saiguu, in her small fox form, had been sunbathing on Akio's head. She stretched lazily and slowly got up. Finally! The boring days at sea were coming to an end!

Akio put away his fishing rod and looked in the direction the ship was heading. With his vision, he could see the distant Liyue Harbor.

Unlike in the game, the real Liyue Harbor was incredibly bustling and vast, teeming with people going about their work.

It had to be admitted that the economic gap between Inazuma and Liyue was significant! Ritou was also a large island, but due to the Sakoku Decree and its lack of economic strength, its port paled in comparison to Liyue Harbor. It was downright shabby!
