Genshin Impact: Starting from Liyue to Build Infrastructure

Chapter 225: Chapter 225

Takumi and Shenhe stayed at Diona's side until after 9 o'clock.

Then, they were ready to go back. Seeing this, Klee immediately followed Qiqi along with Noelle. As for Yaoyao, she decided to stay with Diona and return after the store closed.

Qiqi, Yaoyao, and Klee took turns assisting, allowing the others to go home early. Noelle followed Klee, meaning she left when Klee left and stayed when Klee stayed. Because of this, Noelle also bought a motorcycle with Takumi.

Several people left the tavern and drove directly toward the manor.

The next morning, after waking up, Takumi explained to Keqing, "I'm going out with Shenhe for a few days. I'll leave Liyue Harbor in your care while I'm gone."

Hearing Takumi's words, Keqing was a little surprised. She glanced at Takumi and Shenhe with a strange expression, slight dissatisfaction flickering in her eyes. However, she said nothing and simply nodded in agreement.

"Alright! But where exactly are you going? To Mondstadt? Or is it something else?"

Faced with Keqing's inquiry, Takumi didn't hide anything and directly stated his next itinerary.

"We plan to go to Qingce Village first, then visit Mt. Aozang."

Going to Qingce Village? That must be for sugar. Understood. This was a business trip.

Thinking of this, the dissatisfaction in Keqing's eyes disappeared, replaced by affirmation.

"Alright! Leave everything to me."

Qingce Village was experimenting with new food, so it was only natural for Takumi to check it out. There was nothing more to say—her job was simply to keep things running smoothly and work toward opening the department store as soon as possible.

"Well then, we'll be on our way. Noelle, when Klee and the others wake up, let them know where we've gone," Takumi added before leaving.

He didn't want them to worry about their absence.

Hearing Takumi's words, Noelle nodded.

"Leave it to me. I'll talk to Klee."

After finishing his instructions, Takumi immediately left the manor with Shenhe.

As soon as they departed, Barbara and Amber got up. Not seeing Takumi around, they were curious and soon learned from Noelle where he had gone. He had gone out for work and might not return for several days.

Both felt a little disappointed but said nothing.

Barbara had now officially joined Liyue Radio and had even received exciting news from Baiwen—Liyue's radio broadcasts were now being transmitted to Mondstadt! Soon, people in Mondstadt would be able to hear her singing.

This made Barbara extremely happy. Many goods from Liyue were already being imported into Mondstadt, so surely her sister would hear her songs too. How could she not be overjoyed?

Meanwhile, Takumi and Shenhe traveled directly toward Qingce Village.

Even though this was technically a date, Takumi decided to stop at Qingce Village first to check on the food production there. From Qingce Village, they would then fly straight to Mt. Aozang—it wasn't far, just a detour.

As they flew toward Qingce Village, Takumi noticed many vehicles driving along the newly constructed roads. Among them, he spotted a convoy of white vans, each bearing large characters that read "Wangsheng Funeral Parlor."

This was ridiculous.

There was no need to guess—it had to be Hu Tao's idea.

Did she really turn the funeral parlor's hearses into racing vehicles?

Thinking of this, Takumi's mouth twitched.

As expected of Hu Tao. What a crafty individual.

Moreover, wasn't this a violation? Could the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor really speed down empty roads like this?

"Outrageous! No, I'm going to ask the Millelith to issue them a ticket."

Takumi immediately called Yanfei while driving.

"Yanfei, you need to track down those Wangsheng Funeral Parlor guys. They're speeding—issue them a fine!"

Receiving Takumi's call, Yanfei was momentarily confused.

"Wait! The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's convoy? Speeding? Are you serious?"

Yanfei couldn't believe it. She was well aware of the funeral parlor's situation. Hu Tao had even formally registered the hearses for nighttime transportation. Of course, they sometimes traveled to Wuwang Hill during the day as well.

Takumi nodded.

"Of course, I'm serious. Do you think I'd joke about this? Those guys are racing on the road to Stone Gate. We should implement some speed-tracking measures."

Hearing this, Yanfei fell silent.

Outrageous. How fast were they driving the hearses?

No! They had to be fined!

Just like Takumi, she felt Hu Tao was outright challenging Liyue's traffic laws.

"Understood! I'll send them a ticket later!"

Yanfei gritted her teeth, hung up the phone, and started writing the fines. At the same time, she suddenly remembered something.

There were limits on how many people could be in a van.

"Four pallbearers in the car, plus a driver and an officiant. That's six people. But then there's also someone in the coffin…"

"That makes seven."

"Our legal limit is six passengers per van. So, Hu Tao is technically overloading the vehicle!"

Yanfei snapped her fingers, mentally counting the coffin as part of the passenger load.

So, had Wangsheng Funeral Parlor been breaking the law all along?

If she didn't fine them now, she'd be doing a disservice to her reputation as Liyue's top legal expert!

With this in mind, Yanfei immediately issued several tickets and arranged for them to be delivered to Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.

Meanwhile, after successfully reporting the convoy, Takumi was feeling quite satisfied.

At this moment, the convoy was far behind him. And technically, he was also speeding—but that wasn't a problem.

After all, he wasn't driving on the road.

He was flying.

How fast could one be while flying? If that counted as speeding, then perhaps someone should look into Zhongli's floating jade palanquin.

Shenhe, who had been watching Takumi's actions the whole time, slightly raised the corners of her lips.

Sometimes, Takumi could be quite amusing.

And so, the two quickly arrived near Qingce Village, descending from the sky.

Looking around, Takumi saw vast green fields stretching across the farmland, with many villagers busy at work.

His eyes lit up at the sight.

It seemed the crops were growing well!
