Genshin Impact: Starting from Liyue to Build Infrastructure

Chapter 220: Chapter 220

Diluc took out two bottles of Dawn Coke from the box and handed them directly to Takumi and Shenhe.

The black liquid was contained in a glass bottle with a label reading "Dawn Coke," named after Diluc's Dawn Winery.

Takumi took the bottle, examined it, and opened it directly before taking a sip.

The taste was similar to what he had imagined.

Shenhe also took a sip but frowned slightly—she didn't seem to enjoy carbonated drinks.

"What is this?" she muttered.

Seeing this, Takumi handed the bottle back to Shenhe and said, "Shenhe, use your Cryo abilities to chill it for me."

Hearing his request, Shenhe nodded and took the Coke from his hand. Activating her Cryo power, she cooled the bottle instantly, causing gas and frost to form on its surface.

Seeing this, Takumi quickly stopped her. "Alright, that's enough!"

He took the bottle back and took another sip.

"Mmm, now that's the taste!"

Letting the drink chill made a significant difference. It was much more enjoyable cold.

Curious, Shenhe took another sip. The taste was much better than before.

Diluc, watching this, smirked slightly. "Looks like you're satisfied."

"If there are no issues, I'll start distributing the stock. I've already spoken to most of the restaurants here. They're eager to work with me."

Takumi chuckled at his words. It wasn't exactly a partnership—Diluc practically had a monopoly on Mondstadt's wine industry. Liyue's merchants were eager to collaborate, so of course, they would agree.

"No problem. Just start the distribution," Takumi replied. "Also, send some extra stock to my department store."

Diluc nodded. "That's fine. But I need better transport."

"You mean the delivery vans?"

"Yes," Diluc said, slightly annoyed. "The current delivery speed is too slow. There are a lot of drinks piling up in Mondstadt. If I could use your transport vehicles, I could move more stock efficiently."

Hearing this, Takumi paused for a moment before nodding. "Alright. I'll get you set up with the vans later."

Diluc had already placed a deposit for the cargo ships, so it wasn't unreasonable to give him the vehicles first.

With that settled, Diluc pointed at the crates of Coke in his car.

"Take these and share them around. Let people try it. Consider it an advertisement."

Takumi raised an eyebrow, amused. He hadn't expected someone as serious as Diluc to think about marketing strategies.

Still, Takumi wouldn't refuse free stock.

He called over a few Qianyan Army members and had them unload all the crates from the car.

Once everything was unloaded, Diluc prepared to leave.

Before departing, he extended an invitation.

"My tavern officially opens tomorrow. If you're interested, stop by—I'll treat you to a drink."

Takumi nodded. "Sounds good. If I have time, I'll drop by."

Satisfied, Diluc got into his car and drove off.

Once he was gone, Takumi turned to Shenhe and the soldiers.

"Shenhe, chill these for a bit. Then take two crates and distribute them to the guards on duty nearby."

"This is a new drink from Mondstadt. It's actually pretty good."

Hearing this, the soldiers' eyes lit up. "Yes, Lord Takumi!"

Shenhe activated her Cryo power again, freezing all the Coke bottles in front of her.

Once they were sufficiently chilled, the Qianyan Army members started distributing them. Seeing the sheer number of bottles, they called in additional help to move the crates into the General Affairs Department.

Takumi chuckled at their efficiency. "These guys really know how to get things done."

After the crates were stored, Takumi distributed bottles to the staff in the General Affairs Department. He also brought in a large refrigerator to store the drinks for easy access.

The presence of the refrigerator surprised everyone, but their curiosity soon turned to excitement as they tried the chilled Coke.

Many people enjoyed the taste, their eyes lighting up with delight.

Of course, some weren't fans. Some found it too sweet and worried about gaining weight, so they drank only a little.

Takumi didn't mind.

After sorting out the distribution, he took out a design sketch for a refrigerator and handed it to Shenhe.

"Take this to the alchemy workshop. Have them work on manufacturing this. If everything goes well, we can mass-produce and sell them."

The alchemy workshop had already been researching refrigeration technology, but their current methods relied on ice slimes, which were inconvenient.

Now that Takumi had a complete design, they could shift focus to other projects.

Shenhe took the blueprint and left to deliver it to the alchemists.

Meanwhile, Takumi got back to work, dealing with accumulated tasks before heading out.

He decided to check on Mona.

That astrologer had been locked away in the house he had arranged for her, barely coming out except to eat.

Riding his motorcycle, Takumi arrived at Mona's residence.

This district housed the teachers Takumi had recruited, and Mona had been given a detached villa.

Walking up to the door, he found it unlocked, so he entered easily.

Inside, he was immediately struck by the mess.

Books were scattered everywhere. The place looked like a tornado had hit it.

Takumi picked up a book at random and glanced at the price tag.

His eyes widened in shock.

"90,000 Mora?!"

"Are you kidding me?!"

At that moment, Mona emerged from another room, having heard the noise.

Seeing Takumi, she sighed in relief. "Oh, it's just you. I thought it was a thief."
