Genshin Impact: Reborn Engineer

Chapter 39: Poll

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to get folks opinions on something real quick it's not really important in the short-term, just something I'm working on to give more flavor to the story.

I was thinking of overhauling the Geo elemental reactions since compared to almost every other element, Geo is very boring. It's literally a crystalize reaction that gives the characters a different flavored shield depending on what the element Geo was reacting with. To keep things sort of in line with the continuinuity I was going to have the order of the application of elements to be vital, otherwise you just get the Crystalize reaction, I other words Geo is the base element that other elements are being applied to, if Geo is the secondary element it causes a Crystalize reaction.

Here are some ideas I have had stewing for a bit:

Geo + Dendro = Sprout

Creates a large Dendro core that has a stem growing out of it.

Sprout + Hydro = Blossom

The stem grows into a flower that heals nearby characters.

Sprout + Pyro = Burgeon

Same as in the game.

Sprout + Electro = Overgrowth

The Dendro Sprout spreads and grows into a field of throny vines, that deals are Dendro damage.

Geo + Pyro = Magma

Pretty straight forward, it creates a field of magma surrounding the area the reaction takes place. Does AOE Pyro damage.

Geo + Anemo = Sandstorm

AOE Geo damage, also obscures vision.

Geo + Electro = Grounded

Electro energy is redirected to the ground, not harming the initial target.

Geo + Hydro = either Marsh or Landslide

Marsh, creates a large area of mud, slows movement and applying Hydro to individuals who move through it.

Landslide, deals Geo damage, and messes up the area also reducing movement speed in an AOE.

Haven't really thought of Geo + Cryo yet Crystalize seems appropriate in this instance.

Let me know in the comments if you think it's an idea worth going forward with. This poll will last until October 15th.
