Chapter 35: Chapter 35-[Reeks misfortune]

Robb fiercely attacked one of the men.

They had been battling in Umber territory for a few days, some attacks. But nothing out of the ordinary.

"Few," he whispered.

He didn't even activate his abilities upon seeing them.

They were beginners, without any skills to praise.

They attacked without discipline, without experience.

"The Umbers aren't that weak?" the boy thought.

At first, he thought it was a trap.

But no, they had been there for days and days, eliminating soldiers or taking prisoners.

They were explorers more than anything, without any skills.

"His majesty," Robb heard.

He turned to see a soldier.

"You must come with us, King Stannis requests your support," he said.

Robb looked at him confused.

Stannis had gone from the north side, and they had four times as many men.

"What's happening?" the boy muttered.

He took a horse and accompanied the others.

He came to a clearing and saw what was happening.

A boy of about twelve or thirteen, fighting fiercely against Stannis's soldiers, he had daggers that seemed to be illuminated with fire.

"Aura of fire," Robb whispered when he recognized him.

He focused on the boy, a redhead with light eyes. Beside him, a direwolf growled at the soldiers, and behind them a woman, looking savage with a spear.

"Rikkon," Robb whispered and smiled.

He looked next to him, his direwolf was looking at him and he nodded.

He let out a howl that was heard throughout the valley.

The boy and the wolf turned to see the sound and it recognized him.

"Robb," he whispered.

The king of the north got off his horse and approached, the soldiers walked away, and they saw Stannis make the signal to stop.

Robb approached, Furry did not stop him, seeing Gray Wind who sniffed him as a form of greeting and he wagged his tail.

"You are alive" the king of the north marveled.

Stannis watched carefully for the arrival of the new Stark, Prince Rikkon.

It was a good thing, he had planned to bring Shirenn to marry Robb as his second wife so that he would give her his crown after he helped him with the north.

But a younger, single brother was much better.

The fact that the boy also possessed magical abilities was even better.

The only bad thing was that the boy killed fifteen of his men before Robb Stark came to calm him down.

In his defense, he believed that they would attack him, he had been in Umber territory for weeks, being attacked daily.

Stannis presumed that some scout recognized him, and wanted the boy as a hostage.

However, it was a good thing that they didn't make it.

Furthermore, the information he brought was that there was still another Stark, one who was on the other side of the wall with allies. If that boy were alive, he could also serve as a husband for his daughter, not to mention that he was closer to her age than Rikkon was.

He presumed that the men in Umber's territory were weak, possibly a couple of hunters and scouts.

"Little Jon Umber is not here," Robb said.

He told him a few days ago, when the attacks began.

Stannis seemed to support that now, the leader of the Umber had to go to Winterfell with his men to support the Boltons.

"It's a good opportunity," Stannis said.

Robb nodded.

Without the Umber army in his home, the rest would fall quickly, in a couple of days at most, they had few defenses, and no soldiers strong enough to give them problems.

If they took the castle, the last home, they would not only prevent the Umbers in Winterfell from retreating, but they could take little Jon Umber's wife and son as hostages.

Robb fully understood the advantages of that.

'Of course, he cares about his wife and children?' He thought.

He remembered little Jon as a good warrior, but with an inferiority complex compared to his father, even his name said it.

On the other hand, on a personal level, he knew that little Jon moved from bed to bed, as they passed through towns in the river country. Robb never judged him, but it bothered Great Jon Umber, since he was married.

'On the other hand, maybe he loves his wife and son and is just lustful' he thought.

[T/N: Moving on.]

"If we attack, we can have them before Val arrives with more men, or we can wait and attack with more security," Robb said.

"Waiting is useless, they have no defense," Stannis said.

Robb agreed.

"Then, I will tell my men to end everything, there will be no need for us to intervene directly this time, except to put the son and wife in custody," he said.

Stannis nodded.

It took them twelve hours to obtain the surrender, very quickly according to Robb, he expected them to defend themselves for longer.

But apparently little Jon's wife is more cunning than him, giving up quickly allowed her to have a little more compensation with Stannis.

The woman was clear and concise towards the king.

She surrendered and offered herself as a hostage, and would also give him all the men she had as part of her army, provided that little Ned, son of little Jon, would continue to be the heir to the last refuge, no matter what happens with the war.

Stannis accepted.

Even when it was Robb's decision because he was the king of the north, he did not deny it. The boy saw how they took the woman with her son, who was no more than five years old.

"The army is getting bigger," Stannis said happily.

"They were weak men, guards more than soldiers," said Robb.

"A man is a man," Stannis clarified.

"Even if they fight against their own Lord, you can't trust them," Robb pointed out.

He told him that this was not a strategy, and the men would betray him in the next battle at Winterfell.

Stannis nodded.

"I know, that's why they will be the first to attack, I won't put them in charge of anything essential," the king said.

"Your brother? " asked the king.

"Still angry," the king of the north said.

Stannis looked at him with amusement.

Robb Stark kept Rikkon with his wolf and the wildling in his tent, Rikkon had threatened to go kill the Freys after he found out about his mother's death, not that anyone would blame him.

But attacking only the twins was suicide.

"The last home was taken, master," Ramsay heard.

He smiled.

"Oh I see, poor little Jon is left homeless," he said.

Theon Greyjoy lowered his head.

"Where is my wife?" Ramsay asked.

"In her bedroom, master," Theon said.

Ramsay sighed.

"Still there, you fucking whore. What does Reek think about punishing you?" he asked.

"What? No, master, she didn't do anything wrong," the terrified man said.

Ramsay looked at him curiously.

"Do you like it?" he asked.

"What? Of course not, master," he said.

Ramsay looked at him and smiled wickedly.

"Come with me Reek," he said.

The boy followed his teacher to the bedroom.

He entered and saw Jeyne Poole, Sansa Stark's former best friend, although Jeyne's new name was now Arya Stark.

"Hello Arya," Ramsay said.

The girl got up from her chair.

"Dear," she greeted intimately.

Ramsay smiled.

"Undress," he ordered.

The girl did it immediately, she already knew what would happen if she refused.

Ramsay saw the girl as Theon did.

She had always been attractive, but poor Theon felt sorry for her and took his eyes off her.

"Is she that ugly?" Ramsay asked.

Theon paled upon hearing this.

"Of course, I don't mean to offend," he said.

"I don't understand Reek, you tell me you don't like it, now you look away, she has a good pair, don't you think," he says, approaching and grabbing her breasts.

"The master's wife is beautiful," he said.

"Then why did you say you don't like it? Did you lie to me, Reek? "he asked.

Theon shook his head.

"No... Master... I am Reek," he said as he always did when he got nervous.

"Could it be a consequence of having castrated you?" he murmured.

"Oh, maybe beauty isn't enough, you want a tough woman. Would you like that?" Ramsay asked.

Theon said nothing.

But Ramsay nodded and turned to his wife.

"Looks like you're still beautiful, Arya," he said.

Jeyne lowered her head and thanked him.

Ramsay threw her onto the bed.

"Well let's get started, look, Reek, now I'll show you how tough this whore is," he said, getting into bed.

Theon looked at the ground.

"Smelly?" Ramsay said.

He looked up and Ramsay was looking at him.

"I said look, don't lose sight of what I'm doing, don't blink...Or I'll take out your eyes"

Danny arrived in Valyria, the first thing she did was visit the Drakon Center, she was there a few days before Sam came to greet her.

He was accompanied by a young woman of northern appearance.

"Eli, this is Princess Daenerys...Princess, she is my assistant, Eli," Sam said.

Danny looked at the northerner and greeted her.

"Nice to meet you, Eli," Danny said.

The girl bowed.

"Likewise her manesty," she said.

Danny looked at her confused.

"Your Majesty, Eli, Your Majesty," Sam said.

Danny turned to look at Sam.

"Eli comes from the other side of the wall, in Westeros... Her upbringing is different," Sam said.

"Oh, well now I want you to tell me about the eggs," she said.

Sam nodded.

They headed to an area with a large house, about fifty meters high, and several hectares wide.

Danny saw them when she entered.

The floor was volcanic.

The eggs were in some kind of urns.

"Beautiful," she whispered, looking at the fossilized eggs, they looked like enormous precious stones.

"Those urns are apparently used as incubators, they have certain requirements, I couldn't read them completely...Old Valyrian is difficult to decipher, some words do not exist in our language" he said.

" I'll see, maybe if I can't, Jon gave me an expert language advisor," she said.

"A hand from the queen," Sam said.

Danny smiled.

"Yes, why not, it sounds good," she said.

"Did Jon go to Meeren?" Sam asked.

"He must be arriving at any moment, his sisters with him," she said.

"Sisters?" Sam asked.

"Arya Stark arrived at Yunkai surprisingly, like Jon and Sansa, she is gifted," Danny said.

"Oh, what good news," he said.

"She brought information with her from Volantis... they're preparing an army," she said.

"We must inform Arthur," he said.

"Not only that, Jon has given orders, Redsun Village must be rebuilt, we need defenses in the west," Danny said.

"The dragons will have to wait then," Sam said.

Danny nodded.

Jon looked ahead, they were in front of the slave city, his objective.

Two hours had passed since he had summoned a dozen sharks and three whales in the sea, so that they would attack the ships and sailors as soon as the battle began.

He set up his camp fifteen kilometers from the city.

His mercenaries were ready, and Sansa prepared.

A messenger arrived. He told him that the city of Meeren ordered him to retreat, and not attack or they will take his people as slaves.

Jon responded That Meeren has attacked his army, that he knew of their plans for Yunaki and Astapor.

But it would be merciful if they handed over the city.

If they did so, the masters would be spared their lives, as long as they freed their slaves.

Failure to do so would result in everyone being executed.

The messenger then left.

Jon knew that waiting for the attack was not counterproductive, but he had no choice, he was an invader. That was already bad.

He had to wait for them to attack first.

Of course, that doesn't mean he isn't prepared.

His summons were already summoned, his mercenaries prepared.

All that was left was for some foolish Master to try his luck.

Arthur began preparations for the upcoming war.

Arya Stark's information was that Volantis had at least thirty thousand soldiers.

Not counting elephants and boats.

Arthur had to defend two fronts.

The north and west.

The problem was that none of them were rebuilt.

The center of Valyria closest to the west was the fields and neighborhoods of Valyria. While the market was to the north.

They had previously ordered the construction of about seventy warships that protected the south. The best thing was to send half of them to the north, protecting the market area and using mercenaries to protect the fields.

The good fortune was that the elephants could not pass through the water, which means that if there was an attack, it would only be from mercenaries.

The automatic defenses of the protected parts of Valyria would defend a good number of his men, while they would attack the enemies.

Of course, if Sam built defenses in Redsun, he would change things a lot in his favor.

Arya walked calmly through the city. She had decided to help Jon in her own way.

She became transparent and used muffle to not make noise and sticky feet to climb the walls of Meeren.

And she has finally reached her goal.

"If you don't surrender, I will kill all the masters...One by one" she whispered.
