Chapter 33: Chapter 33-[The Dragon and the Wolf meet]

Jon sighed once more as he heard the complaints.

They had decided a week ago to reopen the ports in the form of entrances. The boy had many doubts about that.

But Sansa convinced him, since they required medicinal herbs to continue with the hospitals. The girl couldn't go far curing people alone.

She had some mercenary managers, and some followers who helped her, Jon had heard of Sansa's followers, the same thing happened in Asaptor, people that the girl cured and became her assistants.

Sansa taught them the basics, and they were useful when it came to using bandages, recognizing medicinal herbs and their uses, and even guards who stopped the sudden movements of crowds wanting to be cured.

Likewise, the assistants and mercenaries were not enough, there were only a couple who handled the medicines correctly, and the depletion of medicines was a serious problem in Yunkai, so opening the ports and buying medicines was necessary.

"The saint," he murmured.

The name that had been given to Sansa by many of her followers, both in Yunkai and Asaptor.

He shook his head thinking about the port.

His fame grew.

He knew that the title of King of Valyria became known, whether by fleeing mercenaries or citizens.

He did not doubt that the free cities were gathering their armies to attack the peninsula and take the treasures.

"That's why I have to hurry," the boy murmured.

Obtaining Meeren, gave protection to the eastern area of Valyria, so they could concentrate their defense in the west, and would have an extra military training area in Asaptor, a ship creation area in Yunkai, and finally an open market in Meeren.

"It is the minimum requirement before a war against the free cities begins," he whispered.

But opening the market, no matter how necessary, also gave way to spies.

Jon did not doubt that at least half of the ships entering from the free cities would each bring spies inside.

Spies capable of informing their bosses of the city's defenses, confirming rumors, or even attacking citizens.

Jon sighed.

"One problem at a time," he murmured.

His armies were almost ready, the only thing he needed to begin his invasion of Meeren was the preparation of resources.

In other words.

Food and weapons.

At first, he had thought that his summons would do the job, but after posing it to Sansa and Danny.

They rejected it.

Even though he could sustain his entire army with his resources, he required enormous amounts of mana to do so.

If they were attacked by surprise, by Dothraki, or mercenaries from Meeren, the boy would be too exhausted to defend himself.

In the opinion of his sister and fiancée, he needed to obtain resources through non-magical means.

[T/N: That sounds so Alabama]

Which meant, markets and armories.

Armories were currently in Yunkai, not the best but enough to create armor and weapons for his men.

[T/N: I'm assuming he means the smiths who work for the armories.]

But to get food meant they had to wait for the arrival of ships.

Meeren would take a week to reach on foot, and four days by boat, but unfortunately Meeren's superior warships would destroy them by sea in a matter of days.

Danny offered another option, ordering Asaptor to meet him halfway, obtaining more men and resources.

Jon also planned to summon some of his sea creatures to entertain the Meeren ships while they battled on land.

However, he knew perfectly well that to pass the gates of the slave city required raising his level further.

Currently, his experience rises passively, thanks to the title of king of Valyria, as the city and its surroundings improve, free experience points come to him. Even so, the experience points he gained passively were few compared to those gained in battle.

"I must attack so I can level up," he muttered.

[T/N: Oooo he's becoming power-hungry.]

Sansa Stark sighed as she healed her last patient.

"Here you are, my lady," she heard.

A citizen gave her a glass of wine.

She smiled at him.

"Thank you, Jake," she told him.

The boy, no more than fifteen, lowered his head in discomfort.

It wasn't the first time he had passed by.

Sansa felt uncomfortable at the submission of the majority.

Former slaves.

When she was a child, she had listened to her father, and the terrible slavery that plagued Essos.

She never gave it importance.

It wasn't her business.

She was from Westeros.

But now on the continent, she felt very upset with the slavers.

The people of Essos had been whipped for generations by cruel nobles who abused them, beat them, threatened them, raped them, and killed them into submission.

The people in the slave cities were the worst.

And the girl could see that despite being free, they continued with their submissive attitude.

'I guess it will take some time for them to get used to being free' she thought.

That was an important topic.

The former slaves, who had been slaves from birth, did not know what freedom was, they could not even understand.

The girl took a sip of wine and yawned.

"My lady," she heard.

She turned to see how three men entered, one with his leg cut off.

"Put him on the bed," she ordered.

Sansa cast a rapid heal on him, the wound improved but the blood did not stop coming out. The man pleaded in pain.

"Remove pain... Stasis," she murmured, the first-level spell paralyzed and numbed his body.

The man closed his eyes, his breathing calming.

The woman simply summoned a flower coat and wrapped it around his leg.

She quickly cast a rapid Heal, the improved version of the normal Heal she obtained when she reached level 5 in white magic.

The wounds on his leg completely disappeared.

Sansa felt a bright light sweeping over her. When she arrived at the white room, she continued on her way to the computer.

{Congratulations, you have leveled up!

You have three skill points to spend.}

The girl looked calmly, since she could not raise her skill any further with so few points, she required six to improve her skill, currently, her level was 9, which meant that she was required to reach Level: 11 to raise her skill level.

She exited.

She looked at the more rested and uninjured man.

"It's fine, let him sleep," she said.

The rest left the store, or hospital as she called it.

"Santa, the herbs are almost all gone," said one of her assistants.

Her stomach plummeted.

"Let's hope they arrive sooner, the markets have reopened" she finished and she sat down in an armchair to rest a little.

Danny was talking comfortably with the Volantis merchant.

"I understand my lady, but I should talk to the king," the man said with some arrogance.

Danny raised an eyebrow.

"My lord, perhaps I am not enough to do business with Volantis," she said.

"No, of course not, but the authority required for this transaction…" said the merchant.

"I don't have that authority, for you...Strange, if I remember correctly I am the king's fiancée, which makes me the queen of this city, and others," Daenerys interrupted.

The merchant nodded.

"It is not my intention to insult you, my lady, nor to belittle you, but as you say, you are the king's fiancee, not his wife, your authority in the city and the others will only be after you are married," he said.

Danny furrowed an eyebrow.

"Perhaps you don't believe that my fiancé gave me the authority," she said.

"No...No...My lady, of course, I believe every word, I'm not the problem, I understand the situation. But look at mine, I am a merchant, I must deliver merchandise, if my boss in Myr finds out that I did business, and with all the respect in the world, with the king's fiancée, and not the king himself... I would be fired in the best-case scenario," he said.

"I see," she sighed.

The merchant smiled at her in victory, but saw Danny pointing behind him.

He turned, and she saw the port.

"As you can see, it's almost finished," she said and pointed to the city.

"Oh maybe you prefer to see the chapel, the houses, the selection of the market, or will it be the military fields and resource warehouses that interest you?" she clarified.

He looked at her confused.

"My fiancé gave me the authority of this market, not only because he trusts my judgment, but because there are dozens of construction projects that require my attention," she said.

The mercenary turned pale.

"As you well know, the disgusting slavers of Meeren are gathering an army, my fiancé is responsible for protecting this city...As you see, he does not have the time to interview every merchant from Myr who comes without prior authorization" she said.

"O...O...Of course" he stammered.

"Now there are two ways to continue, you give me the itinerary and I make sure everything is in order, or go back to Myr" the girl finished with a smile.

The merchant lowered his head at that.

"Yes, of course, my boss will understand the situation," he whispered.

"Yes, I think he will"

Meanwhile, in the port, a ship comes aboard.

"We're here, princess," said a man.

"Don't call me that," a girl next to him murmured, looking at the captain annoyed.

"You are the sister of the king of the north, you are a princess" he clarified.

Arya Stark looked at him annoyed and turned to look at the port.

It was true, after a war, the port was among the first constructions.

"Will you be able to go down without being seen?" the captain asked.

Arya nodded.

The captain left the place, he never saw how the girl literally vanished, or more precisely, she became transparent.

Arya watched carefully as she skulked between the stalls.

He seemed like he was well organized, contrary to Braves.

The girl watched another girl interview merchants.

She had not seen girls like that, in Bravos, or in the Seven Kingdoms, beautiful in a blue dress and almost white blonde hair. Violet eyes.

She recognized the features of a Targaryen.

"Daenerys Targaryen...Wait a moment, what is she doing in a port?" the wolf thought.

Arya stared at her and thought it was a good opportunity.

She walked over and waited for her to finish.

"She's good," she admitted, seeing how she got what she wanted from the merchants, without the need to threaten.

Arya suddenly felt like some mercenaries were making way.

"Negotiations are over for today!" She heard the mercenary say.

Dozens of merchants made complaints, but the mercenary ignored them and the girl left the place being surrounded by them.

Arya followed closely and hoped she was alone.

Daenerys arrived at a small house where she entered, Arya saw that the mercenaries surrounded the house and left her alone. She quickly used her sticky feet ability to walk along a wall to an upper window and entered through it.

Daenerys sat in an armchair, and she gave a tired sigh as she closed her eyes.

Arya reappeared in front of her.

Danny opened his eyes and looked at Arya without surprise.

Arya expected a scream at least, but the girl did not flinch at the Stark.

"Who are you?" she asked calmly.

[T/N: A mere WOLF stepping up to a DRAGON?!!??!]

Stannis was somewhat satisfied, after speaking with the wildling leader, Tormund Giantslayer.

The savage was not educated, he had terrible manners, but he wanted to live.

Tormund was very proud when it came to kneeling.

But he wasn't on Mance's level.

Promises to be on this side of the wall.

Some Alcohol from Ser Davos.

And the man accepted Stannis with the only request, that he would only kneel, after they let his people pass to this side of the wall.

Stannis could accept that.

And Tormund went to find his people.

It seemed too easy to Robb.

Stannis had to convince Alisser to let him pass.

Something very difficult.

The commander of the guard seemed to despise the savages, much more than him.

"Problems, King Robb?" Stannis asked.

He began to call him by his title naturally, after the battle, perhaps because he saw him battle and earned respect, or only the king resigned himself to calling him lord, at least until he won the north's favor.

"For you, King Stannis, the guard," he clarified.

"Commander Alisser? "he asked.

"He seems to hate the free people more than me or you," he said.

Stannis shrugged.

"He is still frustrated by the rebellion, a Targaryen fanatic, but he knows very well that he has no power over us," he said.

"The guard does not obey any king, since it was created it has been that way," Robb said.

"Nice motto, but they still need resources from us, Alisser may hate us, but he needs us too," he said.

"I hope he knows," Robb said.

Stannis smiled.

"Oh I forgot to thank you, Shirenn feels much better, thanks to your queen," He said.

Robb nodded

Stannis' queen and his daughter had arrived to be under his protection. The girl had Greyscale and she could not be cured by his wife, but she did remove the pain and some marks that she had.

"Talisa is a healer before she is queen," he said.

Stannis nods.

"A noble profession," he said.

Robb nodded.

"Will they stay here?" asked the king of the north.

Stannis shook his head.

"No, too dangerous, Shirenn is my heir after all, they will return to Storm's End, with part of my army until the north is under control again," he said.

Robb didn't say anything.

It seemed pointless to him, bringing his queen and princess, just for a couple of weeks.

He wasn't sure if it was for anything other than Talisa's healing magic to be used on Shirenn.

Stannis's wife, or his queen, was a typical southern woman.

Something arrogant, which she kept behind her husband's back.

At first, it seemed to Robb that she was shy, but then he thought about how she was raised that way.

Her mother was the same. She spoke and gave her opinion in private, but in public she only spoke if she was asked something unless they were private meetings or parties.

Robb remembered that she used to let her father talk for her, she only got involved sometimes, he had not seen northern women do the same, he presumed it was a Southern custom.

"How much longer will it take?" the king muttered.

Robb looked at him.

"Val accompanied Tormund, but it will still take a couple of weeks to gather his people and return," the boy clarified.

Stannis nods.

The giant killer, he promised seven thousand men, nine giants, and a mammoth. It was the totality of his strength.

Val had brought the previous information, that Tormund had about nine thousand men, twelve giants, and three mammoths, but in the last battle, the giant-slayer had lost a lot of men by supporting Robb and Stannis.

Robb looked at his fellow king, he was restless.

'His patience has reached the limit, I hope he doesn't do something that will make us regret it' the boy thought when he saw Stannis with his gaze fixed on the fire in the fireplace.
