Game of Thrones: Valyria to King

Chapter 10: Chapter 9

{North, the wall}

ROAR!!!!

It's been a week since Aurion left Kings landing, he took his time and just arrived at the wall.

He left time for the news of his arrival to ferment in the seven kingdoms, by now his name should be known to all houses in Westeros.

"The wall, even I can feel the magic contained in it, if this has decreased since its creation just how much magic was in it to begin with?" Aurion questioned as his dragons circled a distance from the wall.

He could feel their nervousness growing the longer they were here and the closer they got to the wall, he had expected something like this, but seeing it in person was shocking.

"System what would happen if I tried using the magic from the wall?"

{ The system wouldn't recommend the host do that, disrupting the wall's magic in any way would only lead to its collapse sooner, allowing the white walkers to come south sooner. It wouldn't be a problem if the host currently had the ability to defeat the night king but you don't.}

"As I expected."

"But something isn't adding up, Vhagar, Balerion down."

The dragons quickly landed, and Aurion climbed down looking at the two dragons that normally didn't want to be separated from him refusing to approach the wall anymore, he shook his head and carried on towards the wall on foot.

The two dragons kept a close eye on their rider, as he soon reached the wall.

"As I thought, this amount of magic shouldn't be so low to let the night king pass the wall in just a couple of years, or am I just underestimating the power of the night king?"

"System what do you think?"

{This is something the system currently doesn't have the information to answer.}

"Even the system can't answer?"

Soon Aurion turned and returned to his dragons, he wanted to go further north past the wall but his gut told him otherwise, and his dragons didn't want to go further either so for now his journey north would end.

"I can't say I gained anything coming here, if anything I just got more questions than anything else now, this world isn't as simple as it's depicted in the shows, I wouldn't be surprised if the night king is much stronger than he was shown to be."

"Let's set off!" Aurion says as the dragons take off heading towards Winterfell.

What Aurion didn't know was that his arrival at the wall had gotten the attention of the night king and the three-eyed raven, his arrival his mere existence something neither of them had foreseen, bringing dragons back to the world years earlier than they were supposed to be would have a lot of effects on their plans.

{Winterfell}

"Lord Stark, Lady Lyanna is gone. We haven't been able to find her." A servant shouts running through the halls toward Rickard Stark.

"Again? Expand the search out of the castle into the woods, I want her found before night." Lord Stark commands.

"Yes, right away lord Stark." The servant responds and runs off.

"Lyanna is getting more and more willful, a last act of rebellion I hope, everyone has their duty they must carry out for their house, I've tolerated her actions so far, but maybe it's time for a harsher approach." Says Lord Stark.

"She is already Betrothed to Robert this behaviour needs to stop."

[Lyanna Stark]

Gray eyes, black hair, and beautiful features the girl sat under a tree, she was clearly in deep thought about something, whatever it was she didn't seem very happy about it.

"From all I've heard about Robert, being married to him is not what I want, but as always it is not my choice, we all have duties we must do for the family, is what Father always says but what sacrifice has he made?"

"Soon I won't be able to do this anymore, Father is sure to lock me away after I return, I wish someone could just take me away from all of this, but things don't always go as one would want, the choice has been made for me and I must accept it and live with it as its what Father wants."

She stretched her hand towards the sky and took a deep breath, as a bird flew above her catching her attention.

"How great it would be to fly through the sky, how freeing it would be. Would all my troubles just disappear with the wind?"

SIGH!!

"It's time to go back."

She stood up and took a step.

GROWL!!!!!

Her step froze and she turned around, only to see a pack of six wolves looking at her, immediately her heartbeat increased as she took a step back and the wolves began walking towards her.

'I don't have my bow or a sword, I have nothing to defend myself with. Today wasn't the day to run off without packing anything.' she thought to herself looking around for a way to get out of the dangerous situation she found herself in.

But she knew the fact was there was no way for her to take on six wolves without any kind of weapon, but she didn't plan to just accept her death.

In line with her nature, a ferocious light shone in her eyes. She was ready to fight to the end, the wolves were now only six feet away from her, surrounding her in all directions, not wanting to wait for them to make the first move anymore she clenched her fist ready to strike first only to be interrupted.

ROAR!!!

The sound echoed shaking all the trees, Lyanna dropped to her knees covering her ears as the wolves scattered.

Soon the woods were covered in two shadows as Vhagar and Balerion landed in front of the stunned girl.

BOOM!!!!

In the forest, there wasn't space for the dragons to land properly as they knocked down all the trees around them making the space less crammed for them.

Lyanna watched the dragons in shock completely afraid, only to be pulled from her fear by a voice.

"My lady, are you okay?"

She had always hated people calling her that, but as he said it his deep purple eyes filled with concern for her, it sounded so sweet she wanted to hear it again and again.
