Chapter 39: Weirwood
(Rhaegon's POV)
I walked past several snow covered trees, hearing the loud cawing of the crow I followed for almost an hour.
I had one hand on my horse's reigns, the other on the handle of my sword as I looked ahead.
In the distance, I saw a massive white tree with red flowers.
I stopped, "Hm..." I said as I saw the carving of a face in the tree, "That's quite ominous...."
I felt the gust of wind hit me again.
"Come forth...."
I frowned, "So this is it, huh?" I muttered, "The source of the whispers? No.....but maybe the source comes from a tree like these deep beyond the Wall?"
I looked up to see the crow fly towards the branch of the tree, looking at me as it cawed loudly.
My instincts were telling me to turn back, that this was nothing but trouble. To get Morghul and burn everything down. I felt nothing but an overwhelming sense of dread coming from the tree and its surroundings. It was unsettling, I couldn't stand it.
I let out a sigh, "Fucking hells...." I said as I took a step forward
The more steps I took, the heavier they got and the colder I felt. My breath was becoming more than visible as I felt my chest getting heavier.
I wondered what the two sets of voices were, the one in the flames and the one in the wind. Was it some sort of magic? Or something above it?
All I knew was that maybe this was connected to the Three Eyes, the voice in the Winds that is.
I stopped as I got right in front of the tree, it was much more imposing up close.
The horse began to neigh, almost as if it was beginning to panic.
"Shh...." I said, "Worry not."
It then began to jerk its head up violently as it let out a loud neigh, wind gathering around us as the horse got in its hindlegs.
"Whoa!" I exclaimed as it pulled away and took off into a gallop, "Hey!!"
As the Horse was neighing loudly and galloping into the distance, I felt a really cold chill up my spine and heard the voice yet again.
"Place your hand on the wood.....and see.....The Three Eyes set their gaze upon you...."
I turned around as I panted slightly, feeling a strong anxiety feeling my body. There was something off about all of this, something sinister.
The voice was compelling, though....
I took a step forward, heavier than I imagined it could be. I then raised my arm and slowly placed my hand on the face of the tree, feeling a cold fill my entire body as my vision suddenly changed.
"A-Ahh!!" I screamed loudly as my body jerked backward
My entire vision changed;
I was in the middle of a burning field as screams of agony was heard and burning flesh could be smelled.
I heard familiar battle cries, similar to the Dothraki Horde of Essos. I looked around and saw a massive shadow above in the dark and burning skies, large black wings highlighted with dark red covered in flames as they flapped, a loud dragon's roar resounding throughout the air as flames spewed from the clouds of where the wings were seen. The flames burned the ground and shattered it, destroying everything in its wake.
The vision then changed to a pitch-black plane, or at least it looked like it.
"That is the near future...." A voice said
I turned to see, in the distance, a massive distorted figure. I narrowed my eyes, trying to focus on what the figure was. It looked like several branches were coiling around a man, a glint of white hair was visible as a single blood-red eye was seen in the shadows.
"What?" I said
My voice was shaky and coarse, I was still feeling the heat of the burning field of the vision.
"Was it your Dragon that was foreseen? Or was it the one in the East?" The voice said
It was a man's voice, it was becoming much clearer now. I didn't recognize it. It was very....commanding....and cold.
East? Dragon? What?
Is he talking about Morghul? Wait.....
Mother's dream. Is that what he was talking about? Wait, who was he?"
"W-Who are you?" I asked
"Matters not." the voice said, "Seek Dorne. That is the only way you can keep this Realm alive for the Long Night. I have done all I can to delay it. Now it is up to you. Whatever offer they make, take it. It is the only way. The only way!"
"W-What?" I said as I stumbled
My entire body was feeling light, my head was spinning and my vision was becoming blurry.
"You, like me, are of Fire and Blood." the voice said, "But you're not attuned to the old magic of this land. Nevertheless, conflict is brewing. Seek Dorne, that is the only way."
My chest began to get heavier and heavier like my ribs were crushing my lungs. I began to clutch it tightly as everything began to spin violently.
"Ahh...." I said as I collapsed to my knees, "W-Wait.....are..you...The Three Eyes...?."
"You can stop the search....for now." the voice said as it slowly faded
Suddenly, I was jerked back to reality.
I stumbled back and tripped, falling down on my back into the snow.
"Ah...." I said as I began to pant heavily, "Fuck....."
"Seven hells...."

[King's Landing]
(Third Person POV)
"Ah, Your Grace." Princess Shaena said with a smile as she walked towards King Rhaegar in the Throne Room, "How good it is to see you."
"My dear Sister." Rhaegar said as she pulled her into a hug
Lord Robert walked up to them and he noticed several lords and ladies in the court, "Your Grace." He said, "I have come at your request."
Next to the Iron Throne, Tywin Lannister stood with members of the Small Council; Varys, Baelish, and Renly. Ser Arthur and Ser Barristan stood on the other side of the throne as Rhaegar was in the middle of the room greeting his sister.
As Shaena pulled away and tucked her hair back, Rhaegar nodded at Robert, "Robert, dear friend." He said as he shook the Storm Lord's hand, "Thank you for coming all this way."
"Worry not, it must've been urgent," Robert said
Rhaegar's expression hardened, "It is." He said, "I need my most trusted allies for this matter. But first, where is my niece?"
"Ah, Monica met up with the Princesses, Your Grace." Shaena said with a smile, "Apologies."
Rhaegar began to walk back to the Iron Throne, "It is fine." He said with a chuckle, "That can wait. Anyways, Tywin."
Robert and Shaena watched as Tywin took a step forth, "There have been unusual reports." He said, "From across the Narrow Sea. It appears there is word of the Pretender's line to still live."
"Pretender?" Robert said, "You don't mean...."
"Indeed." Tywin said, "We have thought we ended the Blackfyre's male line with Maelys.....but rumors have spread like a rampant wildfire in the Free Cities. There is one more....gathering powerful allies.....and with a Dragon Egg."
The crowd of lords and ladies began to murmur amongst themselves.
Robert raised his eyebrow, "A Blackfyre?" He said, "Fucking hells, haven't heard that name in years."
Shaena frowned, "Brother, are you sure?" She asked Rhaegar
Rhaegar nodded at Varys, "Our sources are concrete." He said, "This pretender claims to be a Blackfyre and is causing waves. Word is that he's come to sway the Dothraki to his cause. And because of Rhaegon and Viserys's antics months ago, they've been more than eager."
"The Dothraki?" Robert said, "They don't have ships."
"They can always gain ships." Tywin said, "Do you not remember the Golden Company, Robert? They have an armada at their disposal."
"The Golden Company? Are you sure this pretender will be able to have enough gold have them behind him and the Dothraki?" Robert asked
"A Dragon's Egg is more valuable than gold, Husband." Shaena said, "Especially these days."
Rhaegar nodded, "This is not something good, especially for our trading deals with Essos." He said, "This could mean a War is coming. And I trust I'll have your support in this, Lord Robert."
"Aye, you will." Robert nodded, "I'll crush any horse-savage that comes. And as for this Pretender, I'll crush him as well."
Robert then noticed a man hurriedly went to whisper something to Varys's ear and watched as Varys whispered something to Tywin.
Tywin's face hardened as he looked at King Rhaegar, "Your Grace....before we continue this discussion..." He said, "There has been an incident..."
Rhaegar frowned, "What is it?"
The doors opened and Ser Jaime Lannister, followed by some city guards, was dragging a man by the arm.
"Let me go, dammit!" the man yelled
Rhaegar raised his eyebrow, "What is this, Ser Jaime?"
"Your Grace." Ser Jaime said as he pushed the man forward, "This man has been shouting some vile accusations to one of the Princesses."
Shaena narrowed her eyes, "What?" She said
Jaime nodded at one of the city guard, "Tell the King what he said." He said
The guard gulped as he took a step forth, "Y-Your Grace..." he said
Rhaegar looked at him, "Speak." He said, "What is it?"
"This man...." He said as the man was straightening up,
"This man called Princess Myrcella a bastard."
