"I'm Damian Silvius Stark from now on," Damian said in a low voice after which he noticed a panel floating in front of him.
[ Name: Damian Silvius Stark ]
[ Age: 14 ]
[ Money: 0 Gold Coins ]
[ Space Door ]
[ Storage ]
"You are what?" a voice suddenly sounded from right beside Damian, scaring the shit out of him.
Damian sat up in fright but when he looked to his left, he found a short Braavosi man, with a beak of a nose, and black curly hair sitting on a chair, examining a white wolf medallion in his hand.
Damian recognized the medallion, it was his, a gift to him from her dead sister Lyanna Stark when he had just turned four name days old. Damian had kept it on himself as it reminded him of her.
"Who are you? Wait. . . I was-"
"You slipped and hit your head on the ground. Even though it was an accident, you lost the duel. As winners they took away your money and sword." the man spoke in common tongue with a Braavosi accent.
"I'd say you are lucky. Braavosi warriors do not kill someone who is without a weapon or those who cannot fight back, so they only took your possessions and left you on the road. You would have fallen ill or frozen to death lying there. My home was nearby so I took you here to rest for the night." the Bravossi said. He then looked at the wolf medallion and asked, " Are related to the Starks of Westeros?"
"Yeah, my name is Damian Silvius Stark. Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell is my brother. Thank you for bringing me here. Can I know your name, benefactor?" Damian answered truthfully in the Braavosi bastard tongue of High Valyrian. He could somewhat recognize the man sitting in front of him from the Game of Thrones show and that was why he replied so easily.
The braavosi man smiled and introduced himself, "Syrio Forel. You fought well. Just keep on practising your footwork and don't always tilt towards your left when you are slashing at your opponent. It makes you predictable."
'Syrio Forel! The First Sword of Bravos and Arya's future sword teacher. That was why he felt familiar to me?' Damian thought to himself.
"Thank you, Sir Forel. I will keep that in mind." Damian didn't ask whether he was the First Sword of Sealord because he hadn't been given that position yet. He might obtain that position soon in the near future.
Syrio smiled when he saw the teen taking his advice and thanking him genuinely.
Syrio then gave the Wolf Medallion back to Damian and offered to break his fast with him today.
Damian naturally took the offer and went with him downstairs to eat. It would be good for him to form a friendly relationship with him, which might come in handy in the future. Damian even thought of recruiting Syrio to follow him but he soon discarded that thought because he didn't have any title, wealth, or power which could be used to attract the talented man.
Therefore, Damian didn't extend his stay in Syrio's home for more than necessary. After having a small breakfast, Damian stood up and took his leave. He had stayed unconscious for the whole night when his real self's memories were merging with the body. It was only in the morning when he woke up.
Though he had saved some money on night lodging and food, he had also lost his longsword, daggers, and a few of gold coins he kept in his pocket to the Braavosi challengers.
Damian first went to the Iron Bank and placed two more orders for ships, the same as the first one. Another thing that he did was cancel his request to recruit sailors to board his ships. He also withdrew 200 gold coins and only left 56 in his account. After that, he went to a nearby inn and shut himself in the room.
When Damian was sure that the door was locked, he immediately brought out the panel that only he could see and clicked on the Space Door which would enable him to enter an independent pocket space.
The next time Damian opened his eyes, he found himself standing inside a different room that was much bigger than the one in which he was standing before. It was a small two-story mansion built on the eastern edge of a vast lake and plains extending in all the other directions.
When Damian Silvius merged with Damian Stark, he also gained knowledge about the golden finger that had bounded him when he arrived in this world.
"The High fantasy Kingdom-building game that I loved to play on my computer has unexpectedly turned into some kind of a system and merged with my soul." Damian thought as he reorganized the knowledge in his head on how to use the system.
After coming inside the pocket dimension which held a small world inside of it, he once again brought out the panel and noticed how it had more options than before.
[ Name: Damian Silvius Stark ]
[ Title: Adventurer ]
[ Status: Village Chief ]
[ Age: 14 ]
[ Money: 200 Gold Coins ]
[ Store ]
[ Build ]
[ Recruitment ]
[ Map ]
[ Warehouse ]
Damian clicked on the store option and saw the panel change into a virtual shop that you would see on the computer. It had options for buying and selling. Damian chose the former one and saw a list of items that he could buy with his current money and status as a village chief.
Even though he just started out as a village chief, the list had many things which he could buy with gold coins. It had different weapons and tools made out of iron and wood. Magical and non-magical potions for healing, to give low-level strength and agility buffs. He could also buy various seeds, livestock, and wild animals such as wolves, lions, tigers, you name and it's there. He saw a line of caution which stated that the animals he brought from the store would be wild animals. That means if he bought an adult tiger, the predator might attack him as soon as it got summoned.
Damian also noticed a few grey options that names magical beasts such as Dragons, Wyverns, Krakens, Hydra, Seadragon, fire wyrms, etc.
