Game Maker In Remnant

As the teacher kept rambling on about Grimm and their various species ,he kept mentioning the various traits and habits of different species.

This went on along with him adding in many grandiose stories of his adventures fighting against said Grimm.

I started to tune him out as I practiced my drawing skills on my notebook throughout the class.

After ten minutes of rambling ,he seemed to notice that I wasn't paying attention ,because he had stopped rambling.

"Mr. Cress! You seem very sure of your knowledge of Grimm ,would you like to come up for a demonstration?"

Although it had seemed like a friendly invitation to demonstrate my skills ,it was a deliberate retaliation.

Since my fighting skills were even better than before ,I had absolute confidence to take down anything he threw at me.

"Of course ,professor."

I closed my notebook and walked up to the stage at the front of the room. As I walked onto the stage ,I equipped my gauntlets.

The teacher had brought a cage out from a side room. The cage covered by a black cloth ,yet the aura of negativity couldn't be hidden by cloth alone.

There was a Grimm inside that cage. It wasn't that powerful ,but that foreign feeling was unmistakable.

As the teacher unveiled the cage ,a boar type Grimm snarled and roared at him. Clearly directing its aggression at him.

He looked at me and asked if I was ready ,I nodded in response before he opened the cage.

The door swung open with a bang as it charged out. It proceeded to charge straight towards the teacher.

As the Grimm approached the teacher ,he did a somersault over it. Landing behind me to make the Grimm charge straight at me.

The boar like Grimm skidded to a stop before turning around. With the only human in sight being me ,it obviously charged headfirst at me.

Although it seemed like the professor was using me as a meat shield ,he was actually ready to defend me on a moments notice.

Though it wouldn't be needed ,I was assured at how competent the teachers in this world were.

Focusing my attention on the Grimm charging at me ,I readied my combat stance. Charging straight at it ,I grabbed it by the tusks and used the momentum to counter its charge.

Enforcing my legs with aura ,I stood my ground as I lifted the Grimm into the air.

Then I transferred the remaining aura from my legs into my arms as I hurled the boar forward. Immediately ,I followed it as it flew helplessly.

As it was about to hit the ground ,I timed my hit to smash it into the floor along with the original impact.

With one fist buried in its side ,my other one ready to strike. I infused half of my remaining aura reserves into my arm before striking straight into its bone mask.

Once the mask on its face shattered into pieces ,it began to slowly disintegrate into black ashes.

The teacher applauded ,his soft clapping a testament to my first victory in this world. The rest of the students began clapping as a few cheered for me.

As I sat down in my seat ,my teammates patted my back as they smiled and told me I did a great job against that Grimm.
