Galaxy Domination Guide

Chapter 551: The first step

Wormholes are considered an advanced topic among the many fields of knowledge in interstellar civilizations. Just as Iridium Star had once utilized stable wormholes for extra-long distance travel, they've also been tricked by unstable ones.

Wormholes connect two different spaces, not just a universe plane, but also possibly the void.

When the Golden Great Sail Ship came to the Second Universe, the wormholes connecting the three stations naturally allowed people to travel through with the Golden Great Sail Ship. However, the wormholes connected to the void weren't something just anyone could traverse.

Or rather, no one could. Members of the Elder Race don't count as people.

By this time, Bai Zhongqi had already realized that many people had not relayed information about the Elder Race, the main reason being that all those who boarded the Golden Great Sail Ship couldn't part with it and always wanted to make a final gamble, following the Golden Great Sail Ship into the void.

But within the void, the existence of all things is denied, and only the Elder Race and items related to it, such as the Crimson Gemstone, could maintain their existence in the void.

Yuan, controlling his Mecha Juehun, dashed toward the Golden Great Sail Ship, without a second thought.

"This is the key to my becoming the supreme ruler of the Galaxy," he said. "Once I seize control of the Golden Great Sail Ship, not to mention you, whose background I know nothing of, even the Star Alliance Chancellor, the Galaxy Observers of the High Council, the Cult, and my master will all have to bow at my feet. I will be the one true king of the Galaxy!"

In Yuan's eyes, there was nothing but ambition and fanaticism, even Bai Zhongqi, who had just been countering him, was gone from his vision.

He was confident that he was the one favored by the universal laws, and in this moment, he would surely take control of the Golden Great Sail Ship.

As the bow of the Golden Great Sail Ship entered the wormhole, Yuan didn't hesitate and plunged into the wormhole as well.

Bai Zhongqi continued to sit in his chair, starting on his second cup of tea.

"Why can some people be so foolish?" Bai Zhongqi sighed softly.

The Iridium Star Ship didn't hurry to enter the wormhole; Bai Zhongqi's gaze fell on the small asteroid. Even though no one knew Bai Zhongqi was watching them, they still felt immense pressure.

"Damn it, Yuan has abandoned us for the Golden Great Sail Ship!" they exclaimed.

"Why isn't this guy following Yuan through? Doesn't he want the Golden Great Sail Ship?"

The members of the Star Warrior Sect on the ground were trembling and doubting. They were hoping for Bai Zhongqi to leave, but that massive ship just hung above the small asteroid, even though the Golden Great Sail Ship had already sailed more than two-thirds of the way into the wormhole and might soon disappear from sight.

Bai Zhongqi sat in his spacious chair, a tea table beside him, a room filled with the clear sounds of flowing water and music. He didn't carry an air of superiority; he seemed more like a cultured man leisurely enjoying the good life at home. Words like the Golden Great Sail Ship, the universe, and war seemed to belong to a different world from his.

Bai Zhongqi put down his teacup, the cup making a soft clink as it touched the table.

On the Iridium Star Ship, hundreds of heavy cannons fired off a piercing volley.

A small asteroid was instantly engulfed in the terrifying fire from the Iridium Star Ship.

It wasn't just conventional Railguns, Beam Cannons, Laser Cannons, and missiles, there were also unconventional bombardment and destruction weapons. No one doubted that the small asteroid, which had been modified to house the entire Star Warrior Sect's facilities, would be completely destroyed under such a ferocious assault.

Bai Zhongqi reached out to pour himself a third cup of tea.

The Iridium Star Ship began its journey toward the wormhole.

The light subsided, and the asteroid had turned into a cloud of dust. Tens of thousands of members of the Star Warrior Sect and Star Warriors had become basic particles in the universe, ceasing to exist.

The tea in the teapot was clear and slightly greenish, with an enchanting fragrance. Bai Zhongqi did not look at the destroyed asteroid, but rather gazed into the vastness of space, deep in thought.

"This is a beginning, I suppose." When he thought about his sole mission for returning to this universe, he could barely control his emotions, his body trembling slightly with excitement.

He had returned to this world and had become a member of the Elder Race, having mastered the power of the Swarm, but he wasn't excited or proud of these powers. When he actually began this path of vengeance, he became agitated with pain and desire.

It was a madness that seemed suppressed but capable of exploding at any moment.

He was calm about the cycles of the world and the call of fate, but he was no longer the same as the young man who had watched the game fleet pass through reality.

Hui was one of the killers back in the day, a conspirator of the Star Warrior Sect. Today, Bai Zhongqi had wiped out a significant force of the Star Warrior Sect, and his path of vengeance in the Second Universe had officially begun.

The Star Warrior Sect would fall.

The bald man would fall.

The man who had stolen his throne would also fall.

No matter how many lives were lost during the process, even if the Star Alliance might come close to destruction because of his revenge, nothing could change Bai Zhongqi's heart.

Bai Zhongqi had ambition, but he had never aspired to become the lord of the Galaxy.

Now that he had come this far, he would become that lord, making all those who provoked, insulted, or underestimated him pay the price.

The Iridium Star Ship finally entered the Void, Bai Zhongqi looked distantly at the Golden Great Sail Ship ahead; in the Void, there was no concept of distance, but as an Elder or say, as a human, he naturally ascribed a sense of relativity to objects.

The great ship was still moving, but its destination after was unknown. Bai Zhongqi could see the causal pathway along which the Golden Great Sail Ship sailed; for now, it wouldn't leave the Void.

What surprised him was that he saw the Destined Mecha.

"The existence of this thing hasn't been negated?" Bai Zhongqi was astonished.

He became somewhat vigilant and swiftly scanned the mecha, finding that there was no one inside the cockpit anymore.

It turned out there had been someone sitting inside, but as soon as they entered, their existence evaporated; in the Void, no real objects could exist.

Having lost its control, the Destined Mecha became an ownerless object, and Bai Zhongqi naturally wouldn't let it go. He stowed away his Iridium Star Ship and approached the Destined Mecha to claim it for himself.

He was not in a hurry to test drive the powerful mecha now, because the Golden Great Sail Ship below clearly had a value greater than a single mecha. And Bai Zhongqi was even more curious; the mother ship he had acquired was originally equipped with the Twelve Destiny Artifacts. These were treasures left by the Elder Race for those who came after.

So what kind of treasures might the Golden Great Sail Ship hold.
