The manager of the Graphite United Consortium aboard the lifeboat, Pulaisi, looked at the sky in horror. Having survived the explosion of a warship was already a stroke of luck for Pulaisi, but he had never imagined he would witness an even more miraculous scene.

"What on earth am I seeing? A single fighter jet is thrashing an entire Interstellar Fleet?"

His colleague beside him, who had long been in a dazed state, said blankly, "And it's a fleet equipped with Star Energy Weapons."

Indeed, in interstellar combat, the main battle weapons of warships developed by civilizations of Level 22 and higher had little room for improvement. Although it wasn't uncommon for some civilizations to develop bigger and stronger cannons, the cost often didn't proportionally match the increase in firepower.

The Iridium Star was considered an exceptional civilization in the realm of warship main weaponry. Its main battleships' guns all exceeded 2000WM, with some individual cannons even reaching 4000WM. However, even many high-level civilizations had main cannon outputs ranging only between 1000-2600WM. Even the largest starships valued every inch of space so highly that their layout had to be meticulously planned, leaving no room for waste.

Beyond ordinary warship weapons, there also existed a kind of weapon that could enhance output by 30-50% compared to standard ship cannons – the Star Energy Weapon. This weapon technology was not complex; its principle was simple. It did not use Stellar Energy to output directly but used it as a catalyst to make the energy burst even more terrifying.

However, no civilization had so many Star Warriors to act as gunners for their warships, with the only exception being the Cult, whose entire membership consisted of Star Warriors.

It was generally assumed that although the Cult's fleet might not be large, it could combat enemies several times its size, and for that reason, unless facing a high-level or extremely formidable civilization, the Cult respected no one and provoked them at their peril.

Yet, the Cult's fleet, usually victorious despite being outnumbered, was now being schooled by a single interstellar fighter jet!

The Chief Justice, Li Zhi, was so irate he was practically exploding. He furiously pointed at the elusive fighter jet, "Fire at it, bring it down from the sky!"

Command from him was unnecessary as the entire fleet had already abandoned targeting Pulaisi and the others who had escaped and were instead furiously attacking this interstellar fighter jet.

But the fighter jet was as slippery as an old eel, and moreover, an eel that could teleport. What drove Li Zhi and the Star Warriors even crazier was that the fighter not only could perform short jumps with incredibly short cooldowns, but its pilot was also an exceptionally skilled hand, capable of dodging various attacks at critical moments.

Since the beginning of the battle, not a single round had hit the jet.

"Even one hit would do!" Li Zhi's eyes were bloodshot, knowing that a single hit from a ship's cannon would surely doom such a small unit as this fighter jet.

What Li Zhi didn't realize was that Bai Zhongqi's fighter jet, even if hit repeatedly, would remain unscathed. It was enveloped by a battle ship-level energy shield, which also possessed the ability to reflect beam weapons, utterly impervious to attacks of this strength.

Yet Bai Zhongqi continued to weave through the artillery fire like a graceful butterfly. This wasn't his first time piloting a fighter jet; back when he was the Chancellor of the Star Alliance, flying had already become his hobby. Now, with his strength vastly superior to his former self, he could confidently claim to match the best pilots of the Star Alliance then.

Moreover, his fighter was not an ordinary one.

Every 45 seconds, Bai Zhongqi penetrated a warship with his Incandescence Cannon, regardless if it was an Escort Ship or a Main Battle Ship, once he hit them, they stood no chance.

"Damn it, damn it, damn it!" Li Zhi was so furious that he gritted his teeth. He wanted to use nuclear weapons to directly attack this terrifying fighter, but the plane had already approached their fleet. Flying so close made it difficult for the warship's anti-air self-defense weapons to react in time, yet it prevented the warships from using mass-destructive weapons, causing them no harm.

Li Zhi was almost losing his sanity. While Bai Zhongqi's fighter craft was hovering around an Escort Ship, he deployed all the nuclear weapons on board his Main Battle Ship. He would rather sacrifice one of his own ships as a dead weight to bring down this devilish fighter.

However, Bai Zhongqi coolly initiated a short-distance jump, positioning himself at the exhaust ports of the main battle ship where Li Zhi was located.

The Escort Ship that was struck by numerous nuclear weapons had no means of resistance, its shields were blown open by the nuclear explosions, and its hull suffered severe damage, resulting in its immediate sinking.

Nuclear weapons in the interstellar battlefield had considerable power and were primarily used as bombing weapons to exploit weaknesses in smaller forces. The carriers of nuclear weapons were easy to intercept and slow, and there were no shockwaves in the absence of air. Still, these were nuclear weapons, and the billion-ton yield of those used by the Cult from ancient human times was stunning. Each blast was capable of wiping out a massive tract of land instantly.

These devices were set to ambush the ships that suddenly emerged from the wormhole from Wanbo Star. They were of little use in real interstellar combat, but their power was still terrifyingly effective in close proximity.

Now wasn't the time for the Cult members to lament their nuclear missiles missing their target. Li Zhi's staff member cried out in extreme panic, "Chief Justice, it's behind us!"

"What?" Li Zhi's eyes were about to pop out, aware of the fate that awaited him.

Bai Zhongqi calmly aligned his reticle with the Main Battle Ship, moved his right thumb that was gripping the joystick to exercise his joint, and then flexed his thumb to hit the firing button.

Two blazing beams of white light shot out from beneath the wings, striking directly at the stern of the Main Battle Ship. Even the most prideful of the Cult's Main Battle Ships, which could stand against high-level civilization's Main Battle Ships, couldn't withstand the enemy that had merged Swarm, the Elder Race's technology, and Stellar Energy Power in an Bug-class fighter.

The Incandescence Cannon effortlessly pierced the energy shield, then continued through the stern, penetrating the entire Main Battle Ship as beams of light escaped from the bow.

Even such powerful and enormous warships couldn't block Bai Zhongqi's Incandescence Cannon in the slightest!

Cult's Chief Justice Li Zhi died on the spot, the entire fleet suffered severe damage, and was left headless.

At that moment, the gunfire from the Cult's warships faltered and came to a halt as if extinguished, while the proudly hovering fighter, like an unmatched Divine General slaying enemies with ease, chilled the hearts of all adversaries.
