From Dusk till Dawn!

Tang Li sighed softly. Although she was a child back then, but what she did was wrong and even after years, she had always felt a bit guilty about it. 

Alas, her Grandpa has always taught her that one must take responsibility for their action and that is the best way out of this. 

"Of course, you do owe me a lot. Your confidence is wavering after seeing me, is it not?" Lan Xingyu folded her arms in front of her chest, "Let me stay here for a few days and you will see whether he will be interested in me or not." Back then, Mo Yuhan never talked to girls but when she almost stumbled on the playground, he had helped her up and that must have meant that there was a soft corner for her in his heart. 

It won't be tough to get it back again right now. Lan Xingyu smirked. 

Tang Li was speechless. If this woman brought up the matter regarding her stealing the love letter, she would die of embarrassment. Although Mo Yuhan was aware of that issue, but he did not know much about it in detail as the matter was suppressed by their class teacher and he was never interested in gossips. Or that was what she thought.

"Did you just say you want to stay here?" Tang Li raised an eyebrow. 

"Are you afraid that he will start to have feelings for me?" Tang Li glanced at the woman as if she just stated the most ridiculous statement of this era. Lan Xingyu continued, "You said you owe me one. Don't tell me that you are really afraid?" 

"Afraid of what?" 

Mo Yuhan's voice had their attention at once. 

Lan Xingyu smiled, "Nothing much. Just saw a cockroach so I was asking her if she was afraid of them?"

"A big cockroach indeed," Tang Li muttered under her breath before taking a seat. 

"Here the file you wanted, Miss Lan," Mo Yuhan passed it to the woman. His eyes slightly narrowed when her fingers grazed past his, "However, it will be better if you contact my secretary the next time. I don't appreciate my business associates hovering around my personal space."

Lan Xingyu: "_"

"Pfft..." Tang Li spat the water she had just drunk as she burst into a coughing fit which was accompanied by her stifled laughter. 

Mo Yuhan immediately walked towards her and patted her back, "Careful," He wiped her face with a napkin before raising an eyebrow at the woman who could barely control her laughter, "What is it?"

Tang Li pursed her lips before clearing her throat, "Cockroach died...Pfft.." She pressed her palm on her mouth. After calming down a bit, she pressed a kiss on Mo Yuhan's lips, "Darling, you are awesome. I love you."

Although the said Darling had two question marks above his head, he still placed a kiss on her forehead, "I love you too," Came his very honest reply as his blue eyes sparkled. 

"Your eyes are so perfect," Tang Li stroked his cheek, "So sparkly, shiny, beautiful. I love them."

The corner of his lips tugged up, "Yours are more beautiful."

"No...Yours are."

Lan Xingyu: "_" What the fuck! Am I invisible?

'Knock Knock.'

Tang Li propped her forehead on her fist as she glanced at the door slowly. 

Lin Shi stepped inside, "Mark is here to meet you," She pointed her chin at the man who stepped inside the office.

"You both are strange today," Lin Shi commented when her gaze landed on their weirdly visible dark circles and listless faces, "Anyways, I'll leave now."

"You are suspicious," Tang Li and Mark spoke up simultaneously. They glanced at each other before looking at the woman whose face turned red, "Are you in love?" Slipped the words from their mouth at the same time. 

Mark walked towards Tang Li before sitting on the glass desk, "We are in sync," He raised his hand for a high five to which she immediately gave him one.

Lin Shi cleared her throat, "Or more like you both have gone crazy. I-I have work to do. I'll leave now."

Mark glanced at Tang Li, "We said it as a joke but why does it seem like it is true?"

Tang Li shrugged, "What are you doing here?"

"I just came to visit you."

Did you come all the way from the States to Beijing to visit me? Tang Li raised an eyebrow, "Is it about Ethan?"

Mark shook his head exaggeratedly as his silky silver hair swished around in the process. 

"Come again?" Tang Li narrowed her eyes. 

"Darling, are you a worm in my stomach?" Tang Li waved her hand, indicating for him to continue speaking, "Wherever I go, he is there. I mean it literally. Even in the washroom."

Tang Li stifled her laughter, "You like him already, don't you? Then, isn't it good to have him follow you around?"

Mark sighed, "I don't know. I have a reputation. I don't know how I will be perceived. And I...It's too sudden for me, you know? All my life, I have had women on the other side of the bed. It will be weird to have a man suddenly."

"You should have thought about that before you fell for him," Tang Li sighed, "I think there is nothing wrong in this though. You both like each other, the feeling is mutual, the attraction is mutual and you are compatible. What has it got to do with what will the others think? It's not like others will live your life. Go ahead and do whatever you want. I'm backing you up."

Mark smiled, "I realized you can be sweet at times."

"I was born sweet. What do you know?" Tang blinked, "On a second note, take your time if you are not sure about everything. There is no hurry for commitment. Back when we were on the yacht, Ethan pushed you away with his harsh words instead of confessing his real feelings to you. Just let him chase you this time."
